I got my ivest fm singpost this morn. Only till just now managed to try it out.. seems OK. Just that wearing it, I feel restricted when I try to bend. Other than that, it seem OK lol.. maybe got to try few times to get used. You abt the same sz as me, just wonder why you get XXL? is yur slightly big for you. Mine seem to fit OK and seem slightly loose at the shoulder.

Anyway, my hubby finally signed up the membership for us & we got the freebies & cards on the spot. The reception closes till 9pm.

I bought hayley the 1st bottle of Gerber stars to try.. till now still left 1/4 left. I try not to overgive her.. only treat her when she behave good. Normally we give her babybit biscuit when we outside having our meal to distract her. However, managed to train her feeding time same as us. Either we feed her first or having our meals together. hee

my jav is veri "tang chi". the moment he sees mi holding food, he will quickly come to my side, looking @ mi eagerly. If i dun give him, he wil shout @ mi. veri naughty little boi.

recently my jav starts to sleep thru the nite. guess bcos he oni slept 1hrs plus - 2hrs in the daytime. But he is sleeping earlier in the nite time 8pm wanna to zzz liao : ( i oni reach home 1hr plus nia n he zzz.. feel tat the time spending wif jav getting lesser in the weekday. SIGH.. so i am always looking forwards to weekend : )

Evee's fever is gone but now developed a cough as expected by the PD. Voice slightly better. Hope she fully recover soon. Appetite still not good.
Shihui, not sure if the vest is good yet since i have only wore twice, suppose to follow the instructions in the booklet to wear for a few months. For first week can only wear 1 hour, then gradually increase based on instructions. So far only got review that the bodysuit is good in correcting posture but cost almost $2K so trying out the vest first.

Ivan just turn 10mths on 19/12 !
just last nite he woke up 5times basically every 2hrs..
dun know why...everytime i jus nursed him to sleep...bt the last time ard 450am i dun want use nursing just pat him kept crawl away..
pat till one hr at abt 6am then he zzz....hope this is just a one off case...

QSG, dont feel bad for evee... u have to really take care of urself so that u can quickly recover and be evee's no 1 caregiver..hopefully by stopping bf recovery will speed up since you have one less thing to tire urself...

have u tried goat's milk for her? more exp though... sounds like JT is one gal that is very determined...good next time so that she wont give up if she meet obstacles.. btw, how do u puree/cook the french beans?

gan, eheh.today we went swimming liao the queue was super slow cos in front of us got a bunch of 506 women signing up for some stuff and the system cannot take their registration and the clerk just dont bother to serve those at the back in the meantime... terrible service (yes we pay peanuts so we get ......) kate was already sleepy by the time we go into the pool ..and yes the water is cold..i suspect it was never heated will see abt next week..hb was complaining thruout the whole trip that we cannot do without a car on trips like this ..next sunday AM will be out cos PT cleaner comes on sunday on even weeks...

Had a good weekend cos hubby was back.... but he's flying off again tomorrow!!! ARGH!!! I told him he make guest appearance at home ah?!
He tried to take over JT for 1 afternoon only, he was soooo tired that he just collapsed on the bumpermat... of cos he was also having jet lag lah...
Haiz... my SS dropped like crazy liao.... I think my body is not used to stimulation by the pump full time, so ss dropped like crazy... win liao lor... now at least can still spoonfeed her EBM, if ss dries up, then JT won't get milk liao....

Sorry forgot to ans you on the french beans. I just cut them up, steam and then grind using my munchkin grinder lor... basically I do tat for all her food hehehe... Now I buy the baby fine beans from NTUC, which are tiny french beans. They are sweeter and less fibrous.
I dun dare to intro anymore FM to JT for the time being. Yesterday I was evaluating with Hubby, when did JT start her horrible habits, etc... then we realised it was the same time we started putting isomil in the cereals. When we 1st started, she was eating like any normal baby when we put water or EBM in the cereals. Later when we added the isomil, she started to hate her food. then she developed a phobia of solids, even now we give her porridge where there is no milk. She will clamp her mouth, and we have to force feed once to let her realise there is no milk then she'll start opening her mouth. Then midway, she'll forget she's eating porridge and start having phobia again.... the same thing with her sippy cup.. she was drinking it happily until we started to put FM in there... haiz.... So now we decided no more FM for her, if she develops phobia of the spoon, then tat's the end, she will just starve to death. This girl is very picky abt food and has such a strong character, its really scary.... dunno having such a strong character is a good or bad thing...

thanks for organising the gymboree... i tot it looks fun, but my scardy cat JT was so scared that her hands were cold... but she did enjoy herself during the group playtime... she was very scared climbing all those stuff

Sat theme for MyGym was pirates and on friday i was trying to put a bandana on hannah's head (to try try) to "dress up" as a pirate but she won't let me. Anyway, when we were at the gym, she was so distracted by the activities i finally managed to put the bandana on her head without her pulling it off. heehee!
She was the only bb there who dressed up. It was really fun though. I even managed to bring hannah there on my own (hb was working).

yest had been a shock for all of us... ethan din have much of an appetite yest... morning feed him cereal n he vomit after eating only half a bowl... haiz... then i put him in his stroller while i clean his high chair... next thing i know e stroller topple n he flew out frm it n fell on his face (again)... alamak... this time dunno got disfigure anot... he got a shock n keep crying n crying... carry him up n he hold me tight tight like he scared to fall again... then saw he got a line across his nose... haiz... so heart pain... dunno he got break his nose bridge anot... was still in e trauma of him vomiting out his cereal n din notice him climbing his stroller... haiz... really cant handle him alone liao... n for e whole day he only eat half a bowl of porridge for every meal... i end up finishing e rest of his porridge... haiz...

i didn't even have a chance to ask abt the fees. after the class, the kids were allowed to play with anything and the teachers were so busy cleaning up and preparing to go home. then when the other kids left, guess i had to go so i just went off too. so dunno anything. guess this is just a make up class for the other 2 kids.

I'm not sure when they'll offer the free trial again though...but will let u know. I did ask them abt it on Saturday but they say no more free class for now.

heehee! the swings r quite fun. hb wanted to put one at home! but of cos not la.
MyGym has this "Free Play" for members. ie, in a week, u are entitled to go for class and 1 session of "Free Play" which is not teacher led la. Maybe your class is the last one for the day so, clean up time!
Fees if i remember correctly is $300 for a term of 8 weeks. If you sign up, the trial is free (for me la, urs oredi free ...heehee!) so it works out to $300 for 9 weeks. Then, you are entitled to go for the free play once a week in addition to it. But for us FTWM, where got time?? I guess if some weekday I'm on leave or weekend a bit free, we can go for an extra session of free play.
They have one-time registration fee of $55 (I think) and includes free t-shirt. So, if say after one term, u take a break and later re-join no need to pay the registration anymore.
AiYOH! must complain. yesterday, during lunch, we went out to eat and my own mum actually suggested giving hannah a piece of prawn cracker to chew on!!
Wah Lau! I just look at her and roll my eyes lor. I really cannot believe that an educated working woman like her can give such a silly suggestion lor....lucky it's my MIL looking after hannah and not her.

but of cos not la. MyGym has this "Free Play" for members. ie, in a week, u are entitled to go for class and 1 session of "Free Play" which is not teacher led la. Maybe your class is the last one for the day so, clean up time!
Fees if i remember correctly is $300 for a term of 8 weeks. If you sign up, the trial is free (for me la, urs oredi free ...heehee!) so it works out to $300 for 9 weeks. Then, you are entitled to go for the free play once a week in addition to it. But for us FTWM, where got time??
I guess if some weekday I'm on leave or weekend a bit free, we can go for an extra session of free play.

yea... very long journey for u guys. i used to rent a room at woodlands. can remember the long mrt rides. must be even harder with baby along. that day while u were paying, i brought sophia to see kate. and there was another mummy there n she asked if sophia n kate were twins?! erm.. i dont see much resemblence btw them lei, except perhaps their sparse hair. hehe..
that nite sophia didnt zzz very well, cry in her zzz the whole nite (think they call it "ham bin" or something). dunno whether it was caused by her being overwhelmed at gymboree or coz we went several other new places after that... or maybe combi of both. we went JG to send my parents for them to accompany my nephew (my sil near due date liao --last nite just gave birth -- and my bro was on course) & then to a full month celebration. she took a nap in the car, and she kept jerking, like got nitemare like that. so poor thing.

sophia oso quite timid during the whole time there. spent most of her time observing n staring at other kids n the surrounding. when the teacher put the toybox in the centre, all other kids were rawling towards it except her. and she cried during the umbrella activity. as i mentioned to bloom, my gal is afraid of random inanimated things for eg : her own hat. even by the mere mention of the word or just looking at a picture of a hat, she can get frightened n she will quickly scramble to us. even new toys she will need quite sometime to warm up to it (she was very wary of the gymboree clown). among the things/words she is afraid of.. balls, strawberry cushion, balloons, octopus. and she is super terrified of my younger bro n my bro in law. see liao immediately will cry. only after being around them for a while, she is ok.. but so long as they dont try to carry her. she's oso afraid of loud noises (except when she herself makes them)... like we went for my nephews' birthday party... ppl sing bday song, and clapping.. she started crying...

tx learn a few new skills. she can search the flashcard (luckily, bought those $3++) flashcard for her only, she crumble up the card into rojak liao)) when we asked where is the apple, watch, orange, rabbit, telephone and ant.she can also say papa and 'bao' when told to do so.

so my mum will tell her not to be afraid of motercycle sound(stupid motercycle alway zoom so loudly) and tx will do a 'on on' sound when we asked her to do the motercycle sound.so interesting... think it has get rid of her fear liao.
y'day, when we were on the way hm from breakfast, while crossing a road. tx made a few 'eh eh' sound. hubby ignore her and then her voice grew louder and then she started to use her hand to point and we looked at the direction where she pointed. oh, there is a mini waterfall at my plc, think she is telling us something. so we bought her there and then she is so happy (like strike toto)....

Thou our breasts might still will produce abit of milk after 2 weeks, but ignore them n dun pump out. Eventually the milk wil stop.

I think most are older than hannah, but i think one of the good things abt being the youngest bb is that the older ones can probably motivate hannah to improve herself when she sees them do things like walk, etc etc. Hannah, as usual, cannot sit still and wanna crawl here and there. Exercise is definitely good for our bbs!

I think as long as you consistently take sophia out to a gym or playgroup regularly, she will get used to it and will be brave too. Hannah's been in gym/playgroup since 4 mos and swimming since 6mos...so she's not too clingy. But hor, she's not very open to strangers carrying her, she will turn her face and body away in a clear indication of refusal. Unless of cos, they hv something to bribe her, like biscuits (supplied by us) or necklace or watch or something. My ger can be bribed...sigh. She oso dun like to be left alone...must be able to see us from a distance at least. But I guess that's normal for a bb.

Your posting abt loud noises reminds me of an incident a fren shared last week. He was telling me how one of our mutual fren's bb got startled by a balloon burst on his 1st birthday and developed a fear of strangers, and loud noises and became withdrawn. This is quite unusual but apparently, very clearly after that fateful birthday party, the child's character changed. He won't even let strangers into his house! He's now 4 yrs old and have somewhat improved...but i think this kind of extreme case is quite isolated...

hmmm regard to the nan fm, what i mean is why not give NAN 2 without HA instead of HA? how come dun upgrade him to nan 3 leh? maybe Nan2 HA and Nan 2 without HA are different loh. I remember nan 1 is white scoop, nan 2 is red scoop but now become yellow scoop.

dun understand why your hb is worried will get caught.
it is those who are foreigner tat you should be concern. coz they are working in singapore ilegal.
