lil, yes, it vry difficult to feed medicine to bb. i normally do it 45 minutes to 1 hr after bb drink milk. so if puke only medicine. very poor thing! fever still high? if not, then sponge him. its the night time that is more worrying. poor thing! sayang.....

zion, congrats! so good yr bb can sleep thru. mine still scream at 5am for milk. think me still have long way to go....

I helped to arrange for trial at the Tanglin mall gymboree. RainV and i went 2 weeks ago liao. it's not bad. You want you can take over my slot. This Saturday, 9.30am. I took over from Doggiebb though I've already gone for a trial. heehee! You just tell them u are taking over bb Hannah.
I'm going to MyGym this Sat. The theme this Sat is Pirates! heehee!

really got 50% at kidzloft for bb's bday? during bday month issit? what are their houseband items? I very cheapo one... got discount i sure go. haha!

lucas has been fighting naps too... these days, he can sleep maybe 1 hr OR 45 mins OR his record... 5 mins. My mum told me that he will be very sleepy and when they finally get him to sleep, maybe after drinking milk, once they put him down, he will wake up after 5 mins! jialat... at night he doesn't sleep very well either leh... he will cry maybe every 3 hrs. I dont feed him until ard 5am, the times he wakes up before 5am i will just give him water and his tu-tu and he will go back to sleep. But once he wakes to cry, he can't put himself back to sleep again. How ah? my kid dunno how to sleep by himself... always need someone to pat him back to sleep. he also can't sleep outside (like in pram or even if someone carries). So if we go out n he's tired, we have to go home!!

Lucas cant really feed himself yet...he can roughly grab the food but on the way to his mouth, he might drop it but won't realise... then he will still open his mouth n put "nothing" inside.. haha

speaking of pureeing porridge... my mum still does it but I heard from my fren over the weekend that her boy (born jan 2006) now almost 24 mths ready still wants his food puree-ed cos he's spoilt by the grandpa...now lazy to chew! So i told my mum shd start trying to give him rougher texture redy... slowly lor.

sorry... can pls educate me? how come shd have one yellow and one green? think my mum only gives lucas one green with fish everyday. eat until he's quite sian rdy i think... havent tried tofu yet. Will try this weekend. how to cook it tho? Just steam and eat?? or must mash?

I go to the MyGym at Woodlands. Not bad lar. I like the low student teacher ratio. Every 15mins new station/activity. Last week i went for trial, hv swings la, singing, tumbling, slides, balls through hoops blah blah. I think as long as they hv diff activity every 15mins, our bbs won't be bored. Everyweek they hv new things. This week, the theme is Pirates! So i'll try to tie a bandana on hannah...

last week, we went to ask the sea horse brand bb mattress again. this time price increase from $70.60 to $80++ liao. jus tonly few days different only. anyway, did not get it, we went to the neighbour furniture shop to customer made the mattress which cost $38 for 4 inch thick yeetaft foam. sefvice is much faster can collect within 2 days unlike the sea horse outlet, it can only collect after 3 weeks.

MyGym is similar to Gymboree and probably other gyms like JWT, Tumbletots, etc etc. Most gym equipment. Motorskill development. With some singing, toys, puppet blah blah...i wrote a description in my earlier post. U might wanna scroll up to read. Alternatively, u can just go there, stand and the window and watch the program cos it's just glass "wall".

I prefer MyGym simply because the student/teacher ratio is lower. Otherwise, I think the program is similar. Can't really compare from just 1 class.
Erm, the whole idea is to take bb there about once a week mah. otherwise, no point. I dun think it's tiring cos on the contrary, i think it's really fun! bonding with bb, alternative to shopping and other places, they can crawl and move in a safe environment, improve motorskills, "socialise", enjoy different things, expand their energy... So, to me, it's actually fun to go for such activities. From point of view of child and parent.

You asking the wrong person if going weekly is tiring, cos dun forget, i've been taking bb out to gym and swimming!

My whole objective is simply for bb to have fun. everytime i see hannah enjoying her classes and smiling, i really hv no heart to stop the classes (and "save money"!)...i just keep going!
It's great that some parents can replicate such activities at home, but hor, i'm FTWM, so these are great alternatives for ppl like me.

Thks for asking. Just came back frm Dr's again. E's fever still raging on. Been alternating btwn paracetamol n ibuprofen every 3 hrs but fever still btwn 38-39C. Some small spots appeared on his limbs n back but still not clear what is ailing him. So tmr if fever still on will have to go for blood n urine test liao. Poor thing.

d the pd mentioned that its virus fever? Denise had one when she was 6.5mth. The fever is flutating bwtn 38-39 for 2 to 3 days. At a pt it shoot up 39.4 at nite. Usually aft the fever, rashes will appear. They called it the fake measles. Wish Ewan recovered soon.

Ya that's one of the suspected culprits. That one, PD say very accurate one wor...fever for 72hrs then the spots will appear. So far fever 48hrs already n only a few red spots appeared so still waiting. Might just be some general viral fever with no other symptoms.

Was saying that I can't feed E paracetamol cos he vomits everything out. So today Dr gave him paracetamol suppositories...eeek! HOw to poke his bum bum, so scary! Anyway had to do it n it was quite traumatic for both E n me. Later hor, everytime I want to check his diaper n bum bum he squeals n try to run away cos he is scared I m going to poke his bum bum again

Yah...he can still focus so he is not too badly affected but poor boy...while sitting on his mat, after a few minutes he will put his head down to rest rest. Poor Ewan!! JT also had very high fever when she was 7mth... and it lasted abt 3 days... with no other symptoms too... she just had an outbreak of eczema, no other symptoms. But after the fever she developed cough and running nose. Have to make sure he drinks a lot fluids. Poor boy....

Yippee!!! Hubby is finally home tomorrow morning!!

But he is flying off again this coming tue... win liao lor....

And, my JT is acting up again... she is now eating, but she is refusing to latch again. I suspect my breastmilk changes taste during ovulation period, that's why she dun wan... sigh... like tat she will have no milk for 1 week every month leh... dunno wat to do with this girl... and she still refuses to drink formula.... headache... this girl really endless problem... dunno wat to do with her.
