To b frank, i also kinda of miss my boi bb verison look.. But i also love his toddler look.. wow, guess meg is the 1st bb who can walk without support.

Jav also like to throw his toy balls everywhere. He likes to see the balls bounce and roll.. Sigh.. Sometimes if the balls roll under the sofa, he will bend down n search the ball.. sometimes will look at mi, as if asking mi get the ball for him. nowsaday teaching him to say thank you when i do him a favour.
My boi also tiptoe when hold our hands to walk. Nowsaday he jus hold 1 of our hand n walk. Hopefully, he can walk on his own when he reach 1 year old.

e only action my boi loves to do is "gong xi gong xi" even if i tell him to say thank you, he will do "gong xi", "gong xi" action. no matter how i teach him to wave goodbye or clap hands he wont do it. sigh.. veri stuborn.

i sling my bb sing the ergo carrier. it was recommended to me by the mummies frm the other thread. i find its good, although its a bit pricey. the design is actually designed by a lady who is a mummy herself, who couldn't find any carriers that she find good. My boy is almost 10 kg now. Last time, i carry him 10 mins already buay tahan. (like carrying a sack of rice for 10 min, siong rite?)
Now i can carry him even for an hour, without the strain.

I ordered the iZEST posture vest, just to try out as I was informed by the mommy to wear it like 2 hr a day. My posture is not so good since preggy and now worsen due to carrying heavy Hayley's. I still cant carry her for longer than 20 mins, back aching and hands pain. Moreover, my left wrist till now still not fully recover & I given up hope for it to recover. So ordering that, hope it will helps to correct my back posture better and prevent back pain.

ur Ewan will be help u wif the hse work next time when he grows up. My jav when see mi vacuum floor, will shout @ e vucuum cleaner.. so comical. he is like telling the vucuum cleaner to keep quiet. Whenever we do hse-work, will put jav into his playpen. He will happily play wif his toys, read the cloth book to himself or stand up in the playpen to watch us to hse-work. Except when the vuccum part come in.

I'm using the MIM sling. The position dunno is is called piggy back. Denise legs are opened and rested on my waist. But after about 30mins, I do feel the strain on my back and shoulder esp if the round is not adjusted properly.
Talking about the sling position, I actually have a concern. I wonder will it affect the bb legs development since its always wide open. Another issue is when their bum rested on our waist, will it cause abrasion on their sensitive part when we walked?? hmmm........

i know another mummy whose daughter is now 2 yr old. when she was a bb, mummy sling her with her legs wide open. Her development is Ok n normal.
I also wondered whether their genitals will be bruised, but i guess their nappies are rather thick so it protects it? Also u could check n inspect regularly to see whether there are any sores or redness.

I dun puree the brown rice...just cook in the slow cooker till nua nua. I feed E using the pigeon grater bowl so will grind the porridge slightly b4 feeding. Anyway E likes a bit of texture in his food. As for wheatgerm, I add 1/2 tbsp into porridge. I also bot golden flaxseeds frm brown rice paradise. Wanted to give E but so mah fan...hv to grind n taste yucks. So end up I bin the whole packet. Will now look for the oil version n can just add to porridge straight without any fuss.

Don't really need to cook wheatgerm but I find raw wheatgerm yucky. What I do is toast the wheatgerm in a skillet over a slow fire. Keep moving the flakes ard until the turn light brown n fragrant. Can taste some...it's yummy unlike raw wheatgerm. Toast a large portion n keep in the fridge or freezer.

lil, guess not all maids problematic la. my myanmar maid was ok la. jus that she's a bit stubborn. but as long as she does what i wan, i dun care. however, she missed home a lot and some more with a bit of medical problem, it was the perfect excuse for her to go home. i guess i've had enuf of all these so i'm keeping to the part-time helper option. at least now dun have to think to bring or not bring the maid out, or whether she's ok at home, did she eat or not....

sometimes bbs are just a little heaty, make sure he drinks more water, he'll be fine. unless the fever is high or got other symptoms then bring him to doc. I also bot the flaxseeds, not giving to bb yet cos also lazy to grind, will use it to make bread.

roo, guess its a new taste for bb they'll have that sort of reaction. try again and see. maybe she'll like it after that.

qsg, remember to inform your pilates instructor when starting the exercise. it'll definitely help you in the long run. if you can, try to swim also.

I heard u mentioned abt JPB? Aiyo, I will boycott that agency. It was used to call Jack Focus and later change name again. JPB is the last name they are using. I've got 5 maids from them within 1 year, all the maid got problem. I only sent 1 back and the other 4 requested to go back on their own. Now, my maid is from HMDC at Bt Timah, this one much much better and I only got 1 maid from them which is still with me today, but she's going back liao, so I'm getting from her another maid. She really help me alot in choosing a suitable maid for me.
My fren also got Myanmar maid and she was so headache with them. She told me her myanmar maid got attitude problem and cannot understand her english and cannot adapt to the environment. She sent 2 or 3 back before finally giving in to Indon maid.

Just came back from Dr's. E's fever shot up to 38.4C in the afternoon even tho I had already given him paracetamol. Dr asked us to come in. Good also lah...now got stronger meds in case his fever goes even higher tonite. Hope not.

BTW...samo samo...E will also clap on cue but refuses to wave bye bye. But he waves bye bye to the TV when the cartoon finishes n the characters say bye. He also claps when we say certain words like well done...quite cute. Oh..he also loves to do high 5.

ACtually JT is allergic to cow's milk, so her food is very limited, but I try to add in a few things at a time, so that can try different permutations. I bo chup one, I just mix them together hehehe, as long as I dun mix the same colours, like I dun mix carrots with pumpkin, or broccoli with spinach lah...

Greens/white:

So when combined with the 3 different types of meat, will have many permutations to play around lor... that day I was so sian, dunno what to give, I actually gave her pork, sweet potato and apple puree porridge... I know it sounds a bit yucky but she ate leh... whatever lah as long as she eats.

I have the munchkin grinder and it is very good to grind pork and beef. I will chop the yellow vegetables very finely and cook together with the porridge. I'll steam the green veg and meat separately then dump everything in the munchkin grinder to grind.

I am also using the MIM sling. I'm doing the hip carry, but I only do it for short distances and duration cos JT can't sleep in the sling anymore. My shoulders ache a bit after a while.

thks for sharing. hmm..the point abt not mixing same colours... i actually mix carrot with pumpkin for my son, n i noticed that his palms became a sight tiny yellow. I stopped it immediately. Now i only boil the carrot n pumpkin in the porridge for the sweetness, but i will discard the flesh. The colour of the porridge used to be orange yellowish in colour, but after i discard the flesh, the porridge became whitish. I think it helps la hor? not so much orange yellow pigments in his food.

yesterday was horrible... super bz day.. i received 17 samples to do testing.. it's record high.. the most my collegues got was onli 14.. they saw me do until so qi cham.. they took turn to help me.. so touched..

for congee, usually i onli cook with pork for sweetness.. i will cook vege separately.. when i feed PH, i oso feed him separately... i try not to rojak his congee lor.. want him to know different taste and texture..

den in future, maybe easier for him to convert fr bb congee to normal adult table food..

same as dora.. i never give 2 yellow or 2 green vege.. usually it's 1 green and 1 yellow..

anyone have gone to photo centre at Havery Normal to print yr photo? how 's the quality? cos there is a promotion for each printed 4R photo which will be charged at 19 cents and can collect within minutes. there is no min quanlity of photos printed. so far, the cheapest photo outlet I can find is colour centre - 20 cents per digital 4R photo.if one go to its marina square or chinatown pt outlet, it will be 15 cents. condition: need to print 100 and above.

finally ethan slept thru e nite!!! last wk he stayed over at mil hse for 3 consecutive days n when he came back on wed, he has been waking up in e middle of e nite for feed!!! told her no need to feed ethan when he is sleeping liao... but she still feed him when she sees him toss n turn... n he actually finish e milk... then she is convinced dat he is hungry dats y toss n turn... we almost quarrel cos of this... getting more n more irritated when they wan him to stay overnite there... last nite mil oso forced ethan to drink milk exactly 3 hrs after his last meal... told her b4 now no need to follow time so strictly liao dun wanna listen... force until he cry... told her mb he not hungry dun wanna drink yet she still force... so irritated i took him hm immediatetly... usually got someone accompany me hm in case i cannot cope... but last nite i insist i go hm alone... so angry... a while after i reach hm i feed ethan only then he drink... din wan to sleep till 12mn... now so tired... think in laws spoil him liao... sleep so late... argh... she dun need to work i need to work wan lor... AHHHH....

yup. that's the Dumex Mamil Gold with Immunofortis. but acc to the person told me dun be surprise when bb's poo is watery cos this will help to reduce constipation and it is much more similar poos as bf bb.

hai..with regard to the old folks...they dun listen even despite of telling them. then u nag at them loh say ethan is a big boy now, dun need to follow those 3 hrs feeding times. maybe u ask yr mil that do she wake up at night to drink coffee or milo? ai-yo...bb will auto woke up if they are hungry one...

I 'm been nagging at my mum and told her not to put powder all over tx. she spread the powder all over till inside tx 's ear, cheek, chin, eye browse. told her if go on, will get astma later.

Dr also dunno yet...cos no other symptoms. COuld b many things lor...cold or flu, diarrhoea, fake measles, dengue etc etc. Must wait a few days n c. Fever still raging today. THen so hard to feed medicine...last nite made mistake to feed paracetamol right after milk...puked everything out. THen this morning tot feed b4 milk...still vomit. Poor thing.
