Wendy, I think sterilise at hm b4 you bring steriliser to work will help. After pumping, wash it then bring home to sterilise. If need to pump twice, I think use the boiling water to rinse the pump should be good enough too.

for your gal friend, do you know what illness is she suffering from?

me is on anti-epilepsy medication, though the gynae said that the bb is already absorbing it while in my tummy, make no difference if I breast feed too. i search in the web, the medication will be in very low dosage in the breast milk. so now, I'm torn over whether to breast feed or not.

DETAILED SCAN
Had my detailed scan this morning. Finally got to know the gender of bb after her being so coy for so long. I'm happy cos can close shop after this #2 and i can finally use Grace as her middle name. Now i have to start looking at girl's name.

The pigeon steriliser is big enuf to sterilise the breast pump funnel. Not a problem at all.

If Dr Ho says that the drug is safe for your bb and i think he's right about bb absorbing it from you right now. Maybe u can find out if there is any long term effects if bb continues to absorb from you, even in low dosage? If not, i think you should try to breast feed.

Aspialle, can share which napkin brand u bot? Saw some recommendation BB bath brand (First month : Lactacyd or Sebamed Cuse for hair/body), haven't go and see yet. I tot can using Johnson & Johnson BB lotion?

Hi All,

Im testing my ticker here.....So happy cos it really so cute..and it will always remind us how many days are we left before we get to see our cute little adorable baby in our stomach.

I will be going for my detailed scan next tuesday on 20th June.So will definitely update you gals the sex of my baby.My this baby nowadays is really moving alot and always kick my stomach at times it is really painful but i guesss that is the joy of being pregnancy.

Just to share

My hb bought a Babygenius Learning Time from popular book store at S$39.90. Consists of 6 CDs to train BB IQ & some learning music, bedtime music, children song etc. Quite cute that the last CD can chose either for Boy or Gal. Hv tried 2 days and BB seems quite interested by music, gave me some movement whenever I play. I slept well too after the Bedtime music. I am now listening to it, BB keep moving..kekekeke Check it out ya!

Forgotton to add, music from Mozart, Beethoven etc. there are christmas songs too, our BB will be in our arms to celebrate christmas

thks. another worry that I have is that, if I do breast feed, I'm worried about nite feed. For me, I need to have sleep at nite, for my brain to rest . If not, i worried that lack of sleep over long periods may indirectly cause additional stress which may lead to an attack.

yes, pigeon sterilizer dun hav fix bottle slots. it's comes with 2 tray. lower part can put all the milk bottle and pumps. upper parts can put the teasts, cover, n pacifier.

Hubby's friend bb also due in oct 1 week after mine. Hubby called to check his bb gender but he still dunno. But hubby tell me his friend already bought alot of things liao clothes all buy neutral color. Ours already know gender hubby still dun want to buy.....sigh

We actually eye a baby cot on sale at Taka but seems a but too early to buy leh I dun want to miss the sale but hubby like die die dun want to buy anything....very fustrating....

Avent Duo is the newly released pump in market with Avent UNO. UNo is single pump, Duo is dual electric pump.

Dun use Johnson and Johnson. I used it for my gal cos my mum used them on me and my siblings. Later, I found out J&J quite dry. My gal developed minor ezcema after using it. However, you can use it when bb is older.

The pump hor, when you put it to sterilise hor, you need to dismantle them leh. So I think all steriliser should be able to fit.

Hee, had my detailed scan today! Confirmed is gal gal! Another princess to my family. Aiyo, wondering if my gal will starts to worry or not cos her mummy very fond of gal! kekeke...
I did a compare of the results for the checkups for my No.1 and this baby. Ha, my No.1 is fatter than No. 2 by almost 100 grams! Overall result, bb is healthy! Load off my mind cos my No.1's kidneys result wasn't good that time (sympton of DS). Anyway, this baby very active wor, unlike her jie jie always sleep when inside my tummy (now the other way!). Saw the features and the sonographer said the nose looks exactly like my hb! The only not so good news is, my placenta is low. Gynae said he needs to observe for another mth or two and decide if an op is necessary. **sianz!!! why I always kena complications one???**

Have you done your 3D scan? Hmm... Dr Ang did for me today, but hor, not very clear. Part of the face was covered by shadow.

Me went to see gynae at 4.30pm today regarding my hipache. She noticed that the area has already swollen and got inflammation liao... quite bad... wanted to give me 1 week of MC but I cannot due to school commitment. So took 2 days instead. So the next 2 days, I got to stay put at home liao... now still pain... sob...

well, regarding my study room leak... sigh... town council ppl coming tomolo. But they say even the earliest they can do repair work will still take 2 mths... wah lao... then I must pray REAL hard that the sky dun rain in this 2 mths lor,.... ridiculous... sigh....

I also went BB kingdom on sat leh.. scally we are there at the same time... a lot of ppl there at that time looking at strollers too...

The combi I like is $168, is very lightweight coz it is one of our criteria for strollers, secondly is the price coz my auntie gave us another combi which can be used when the bb is older... so we dun need a very good one for the beginning few mths, just good enuff to use when bb is infant. I think it is the cheapest combi in bb kingdom liao... you can try asking them. Comes in nice baby blue and yellow.

I am looking for car seat too... My hubby and I liked the Utimax from Concord. So far only saw in Mothercare and Kidsmall. The cushion is good and comfy, can detach and wash. and the price is close to Britax and Cosco. You might want to consider that too, since we share the same view on carseats. We are thinking of getting one for infant till at least 4yrs.

Sterilizer

I bought the NUK one. It has 2 trays like all the other brands and it also have a special "tray" that can hold 6 bottles upright. But the tray is removable. So if you have more bottles or you want to sterilize breast pumps, just remove the bottle holder tray and you can dump everything into the sterilizer. So like what jenny had mentioned, think most sterilizer can do the same....hee...

Jenny, I think the low placenta thingy is quite common in early preg. and most f the time it'll move up in later stage.

I mean I tot steriliser all can use to sterilise breast pump, sorry, didn't phrase properly. I have never see/use NUK steriliser, so can't comment. But I believe all steriliser can use for all pumps. Just remove the tray will do and then just throw the pump in (dismantle it).

Avent Duo, dun think the full name is Avent ISIS iq UNO. Later I check for you, now very busy with work cos just came back office today.
BB Lotion, you can use QV lotion. There's another one called Ceptile (may get the wrong spelling). Both can be bought at Guardian Pharamcy.

I mean for low placenta, usually will rise higher, so needs observation. My gyane said he needs to observe me for another 2 mths. If it doesn't move up, then an operation is required.

I like gal gal a lot! The op that Dr Ang mentioned is not C-section, but an op to "push" the placenta higher.
Maybe your gal position is no good, so he didn't do the 3D scan for you.
I tell you hor, I till now haven't sign package leh. Mdm Chan keeps delaying saying "next time next time". I dunno how long din pay liao ah...

TQ, TQ for helping to check on Avent Duo. My fren work as nurse and told me BB use lotion better than powder cos' will not block pores..but powder smell better, I really like to smell the BB powderly bawu...kekekeke I will go see the BB lotion

what can we see from 3D scan? What's the main difference from our normal scan leh? Which one is Mdm Chan? There're 4 ladies leh. 3 Chinese (young, not so young and auntie) and 1 Indian lady. The young one booked the wrong date for me on my detailed scan leh. When i went to TMC, they couldn't find my name. Then found was 1 day earlier! Luckily they managed to squeeze in a slot of me.

Angeline, there's some info on low lying placenta that i posted earlier. Mayb u can take a look.
