How to babyproof:

Alexis's visit to PD
It went rather well, much better than anticipated. After the jab, she cried for like all of two seconds and was ok, and I thought I need to jump through hoops and turn somersaults to get her to stop...Apparently her height is in the 90th percentile (68.5cm) while the weight is in the 60th percentile (7.35kg)!

edksd tks. my mum still working so she cant help me on all days so intend to put caleb in infantcare at hb's office (managed by my old neighbour) on some days n the rest ask mum to help. mainly infantcare cos i wan him to socialise cos i realized he gets scared amongst bbs. anyway he is super timid one.

me too ILs cannot help n even if they can i wont want too cos i dun like their way of up bringing kids. hb's nieces n nephews still need their mum to help them prepare their dinner on their plate when they are like 12 years old. i simply cannot accept something like that.

brenda Arianne so pretty. me too will go buy the mag tmr to support her.

cookipie tks but i was told porridge cannot keep too long cos can cause wind so i dunno if i shld do tt. very stressed now cos looks like a lot of logistics things to settle n hb thinks very simple.

BB's Weight and my 2 cents' worth!

Ling, well-said! *clap*clap*

Mommies, please don't worry ok? All our bbs are different and unique and that means they all grow differently too. (look at us! some of us are short, some tall, some slender, some not, but heck! that's life isn't it? we can't all be built the same!) Like what many have said, if our bbs are growing well, and are healthy, that shld be most impt.

Anyway, I think in our case (as women), the grass is always greener on the other side. If our bbs are xx kg, we wonder why they're not xx+0.5 kg. If they were already xx+0.5 kg, we wonder why not xx+1 kg. Women tend to never be happy/satisfied with what we have. (not all ah! SOME! SOME!)

I also think women are born worryworts. I bet if we did a survey on all our hbs, the number of us who worry abt our bbs' weight will greatly outnumber the men.

Let's not worry too much and be grateful for the other things. Eg: my bb sleeps thru the nite; when my bb is cranky, i'm the only one who can calm him/her; my bb is on total breastmilk; my bb drinks his/her formula milk so easily; my bb has a wonderful smile... there are so many things to be happy abt!!

i used it straight away... mighty interesting! it told me that DN @@ is in the 5th percentile for height, (ACK! SHORT!) but i must practice what i preach, so... I AM HAPPY HE'S A HEALTHY BUB WHO LOVE HIS PEARS AND APPLES! heh heh...

*but i'm still keeping my fingers crossed he doesn't follow his hobbit mother in terms of height!*
