Currently, she is using a cot at my mum's place & she keeps knocking her head against the wooden tingy, even with the bumper suurounding it, cos bumper not tall enuff..

On fri at BB Fair , I din see that Palmax playpen BUT saw it on the brochure when I reached home..

Now dun noe whether it is a real deal and whether got additional conditions, so asking u gals whether there is indeed a playpen selling at 39.90, so that i dun waste an empty trip...and actually I have plan to go jb tmr </font>

hmmm... not sure what's the fastest remedy, but when I do get a bad throat, I drink lotsa lotsa water, and make a honey-and-lemon drink to drink all day. is ur throat painful? if it is, the best lozenge i've tried so far is called <font color="119911">DIFLAM</font>. it numbs ur throat and heals it very quickly. it's got steroids in it though, so if u're not too hot on medication with steroids, give it a miss. u can get it prescribed to u at guardian.

im thinking of buying a 2nd hand lightwt stroller to put at my mom's place so she can bring kai out. our quinny buzz is too heavywt for her. dun u all hv this problem as in having to get everything in 2 sets? of course those whi stay w caregiver then no such prob la.

me gg on 3D2N cruise to Malacca & KL. no pt gg 4 nowhere cruise coz its the same price as 4D3N. since i am not sure if R will fuss during the cruise, thot wise to go on a short one lor. Selina oso gg on the same day cruise wif me.

she was mentioning its quite a chore 2 do pkg coz Caleb is alrdy on cereals. 4 me, luckily i haven started R on it yet, so no need to bring all the barang barang. hvg said tt, i muz say its not gonna b easy to pack too!

oh juz seen doc and he says there r no inflammation of my throat. its caused by the mild sinus and thus prolonging my flu. so i was given a nose spray to hopefully break the cycle.

at the bb fair, DN "test-drove" the strollers for Jasmine coz Jadelle wasn't there! he got to sit in 2 strollers, heh heh... the combi he was sitting in (pic can be found 1 archive back) was the showroom model... if u look closely, can still see the tag! hahaha... it was a gd thing he "tested" the stroller coz the 1st one jasmine picked out was too small, believe it or not!

went to the PD this morning, so i can add DN's weight and height now!

hehe, my guess is R has gotten used 2 my horrid singing. same as u, though its not 100% foolproof, howver, 95% of the time he will stop crying abruptly when i start singing.

but this pleases me coz i feel wanted by my own son.
er as 4 recording, hehe, my hb actually tried recording my singing n played it when he fusses incessantly despite me singing "live".

my hb video-ed some clips of R laffing away. and when he cried, we played it. believe it anot, he actually stopped crying once he heard the hp generating sound & he can see himself laffing away fr the screen. i love 2 see his astonished look on the face when this happens! its priceless!!! hehehehe
yah the music fr radio and CDs cant tame him when he's crying. Funny.

<font color="ff6000">An Update - Jovann stayed at Ritz Carlton last night!!! its his first hotel stay and its at the Ritz! coz sat was hubby's best friend's wedding so we stayed over since he is helping out and will be late. Also, want JOvann to have a taste of the famed Ritz's most romantic bathroom! love the tub and the view, took lotsa photos and videos hahaha. really enjoyed ourselves! We had the longest bath ever with JOvann this morning, really fun hehehe.and guess what, when we check in, the room was not available yet coz they are quite heavily booked. as a nice gesture, they asked us to wait at the lounge and order anything we like on the house. I had high tea and hubby a sandwich. excellent service.</font>

jo, same here i saw the playpen in the mag selling at $39.90! today after checking out from Ritz wanted to go suntec check it out, but we figured oredi last day prob the playpen oredi gone. i also wanna buy one, coz at my PIL plc no cot, only put mattress on floor, i scared JOvann crawl around and bite electrical cords (sounds so much like doggie!). wana get a playpen.

Selina, if you want those bumper that is slightly thicker, you can try the brand lollipop. I bought one recently. BTW, my neighbour told me can get the mattress with bumper from kiddy palace. You might want to give it a try.. call them up instead of going down la..

We stayed at the Ritz in Shanghai when we went there in Dec last year and they did arrange a cot for us as well as bb pillow, bb bolsters and a bb blankie! Service is no need to say one la at Ritz.. heh.. But I didn't use the cot at all! heh..

Talk about Ritz service ahh..

Oh, u know how was it like when they were only 2 months old and their booties kept dropping out right? Arianne's one side dropped out at the recep of the hotel when we were checking in, and hours later, it was sent to us to our room!
Oh, also the moment they see me coming out of the elevator, they'll rush towards me and help me push the stroller everywhere! hee.. like valet service hor..

And when I was eating alone with Arianne at one of the hotel's restaurants, the manager came adn helped me carried Arianne and played with her while I munched!

Oh oh oh, DA BEST had to be the 'pail' or wash basin they supplied me! I badly needed a wash basin to wash all my pump, bottles etc.. and they bought a new one for me and didn't charge us for that!!! aww so sweet right?

So, Ritz is definitely baby-friendly! I'll have to think very hard if we were to go to another hotel.. I don want to have nightmares during holidays mann..

<font color="0077aa">Phoebe</font>, actually the swimsuit (eg: the giraffe design one I like from Paragon's Ocean Paradise is some french brand.. Not iplay lo.. Iplay only good for the swim diapers la, but I've not seen them having any swimsuit which is UV protected ones.. But thanks for sharing the link!

oooh.. I was talking about <font color="ff0000">float suits</font> that day.. basically when your bb wears it, she'll float and also it doubles up thermal swim wear, so bb won't feel cold in the pool water..
