Hi May,
My girl has been on enfalac since she was 6mths old. She is now 8mths and 2 weeks...hopefully its due to teething tats causing the reduction in milk intake. Cos her milk intake is really low. She is only drinking ard 3 ounce or 90ml of milk

Nope, I cut up the carrots into small piece, but after cooking for hours, the carrots still intact.

No lah, I mean cook the stock over gas before I sleep at night. Then morn just pour the stock into slow cooker & add rice. U think will work?

Ya, I know wat u mean. But hb said by the time after cooking for hours, the bones also become very very soft. So no harm. My mum even more careful, she will use hot water to scald the pork ribs to get rid of the blood, then cook over stove. Will use sieve to rinse away the small bones from the ribs, then start cooking...very troublesome.

hahhaa..aiyo..me siao liao mah..haha...trials addiction..wahaha...can can..but i very blurz leh...didnt pay attn in class.haha..so also bua tang sai...u dun mind hor?
 
Hi mummies,

Actually, if you all want to cook the rice faster, just grind it or pound it until like powder. For stock, now i use pork ribs with little meat, first use hot water to scald the pork ribs then later boil it together with celery, leek, carrots, onions, tomato. My MIL told me that chicken not gd for their lungs or whatever so change lor. I thought Chix gd cus lean mah... anyway better be on the safe side.
then I mix the powder rice with the stock and boil. quite fast lah. My grandma taught me this method and took me like 2hrs plus to do everything. i didnt use slow cooker. too slow for me haha. i do it over the stove.

the carrot intact..but very vcery soft liao...u got blender rite..then can blend it and add into porridge...as for me i dun hv a blender...so i mash the carrot with fork...

i dun use pork ribs..i use the loin meat...so safer bah...
 
i use hot water to scald the loin meat to get rid of the raw smell...then put it in slow cooker..becos i very forgetful..will forget abt thingy on stove..so use slow cooker safer..and then i need to bring isaac to sch then will lim kopi with the auntie kahs..so uses slow cooker for me is the best...hahaha

I think I will join the AquaDucks weekend. Try to get my hb to come along then I can probably handle. hehe After learning what they teach in AquaDuck then we will try to bring her to our club to swim. I have to find out if our club teaches bb to swim or not.

mummies that are going to aquaducks trial. My advice is quickly wrap yr bb when they are out of water. cos the pool is at level 4 open air, can be very cold. my 5cts worth.

I used to work at Suntec. the pool is open for emplyees in suntec. that time every evening after work I go there swim mah.. the wind very big. Even with thermals.. better to wrap them immediately.

they actually told me to come sit in tml at 2pm. but so last min so i told them to arrange another day lor. i think if need to pay they would have said upfront. Anyway i will ask them tml.
 
they have 2 classes leh, one in english and one in mandarin. i opt for english, wait they ask me in mandarin i dunno then how? haha pai seh

Trial - think we should space out the trials lah... so many at one go. :p
 
yeah i was thinking too. was thinking of the Julia Gabriel trial maybe in April or so. but at least ask first. maybe can book them first lor.

hmm 10march got that babies n cream trial leh... dunno whether will it be over stimulating.

Either that or i try to arrange on weekday lor. Cus 10th got the bb n cream trial so thinking better not put 2 trials together... very tiring not only for bb but for parents too.

then very tiring hor...lucky my BB is ok as long u give him pacificer and tap him to sleep ... he will sleep till u reach home.

I just made Caitz porridge. Took me only like 2hrs to finish everything. Carrots i did not cut too small piece but everything else quite small pieces lah. i pound the white rice n brown rice together, so when i finish with the stock then i add to the powdered rice. Lots of soup with the powdered rice. then so fine that dun need to sieve. then i add in broccoli, cauliflower n carrots. Yummy! Cait always finishes everything.

my ger like hyper active. She refuses to nap unless i stay in bed with her you know. sometimes in order to get her to bed, i stay in bed until she falls asleep n cant leave the bed if not very fast she wakes up. so i stay in bed to read lor.
yesterday she was climbing on my bed. climb up and in standing position. Aiyo... so strong! but she dunno how to get down so she will just try her luck and topple. haha and she toppled on top of my hb. haha bb rock climber!
 
i think every since she is crawling and climbing more often, i had to watch her every movement almost 24/7 unless someone else takes over.
hehe today took my weight.. lost 4kg over the new yr n every since i start to do some simple exercises.

sorry me on course thi week.

I dun really enjoyed the gymboree class too. my hubby also lazy to send me there but i told him he cannot complain that i did not do my part to expose Julian to classes like Janelle next time. SO he LL have to send me there. hahaha..

Wah sey.. kindermusik class all fill up. PM u no gd, i tell u able kindermuisk but i dun have a place.. think i go and ask for trial class myself. dun think they allow so many mummies n babies.
 
wa.. alot of trial class.. actually for me, I probably just go for trial and probably not the course itself.. hee hee.. mainly want to find out what else to play with baby else always weekend go shopping cos' dun know what to do with him :p me blur blur mummy so need some creative ideas.

So, YES, I would like to go to Julia Gabriel trial also if it's not too expensive. Can go window shopping also
