I am also very interested in BJG at BB.. They told me they have no trial available currently.. Maybe we can make them create a trial class for us by forming a large enough group? Can you add my name too, if you manage to confirm a time for trial class?

I went to The Shichida Method talk on Saturday.. Generally, the research and studies on which they base their methods seem sound (according to my hubby, who used to do pyschology in uni).

However, they also have a segment which focuses on "qi", where we see kids kind of developing some sort of ESP.. a bit freaky in that sense (and I'm really not interested in this).. Course fees around $850-$890 for 12 weeks, for around 1hr lesson per week.. They have no trial classes, so you just have to "have faith" and sign up. Hubs and I haven't decided whether to commit yet, though.
 
Nitegal, wow, SM costs about 70 bucks per hour. Where are these classes held at? How old are the kids that go? Must put alot of effort in so that the $$$ is not wasted.


Z-Lia, u ate 1 kg of bakkwa and 1 tin of pineapple tarts alone? cannot see leh.. u're really very slim!

BJG - BB is abit far for me, but I will call up Pasir Ris branch to see if they have a trial, otherwise no choice have to go BB, Anyone has PP's number? It's not in their website.

SM - I have a friend who enrol her ger in, and she subsequently found out that she was very stress with the ESP thingy and hates to go to "sch" since then. She enjoy the other activities there thou.
 
Zlia, me too. I have 3 packets of lim chee guan ba kwa at home and I cleared 2.. left one more to go. Pineapple tarts, I think I ate more than 100, because I made 100 and it taste yucky, so got to finish them myself... and those that I bought at Bengawang.
Talking abt CNY gooodies, there's this one that is made of green pea, I simply love it. Finished the 30 pcs in 2 hrs. Regretted not buying more.

Result in eating CNY goodies: COnstipation and sore thraot.
 
Just called up BB branch, they dont have a branch at PP, I thought someone mention they have it? Ask abt the trial and The girl who picked up my call is kind of lame, everything refer to supervisor, when ask for the supervisor, she's not in... Dudz..

I also kept complaining why my BB cannot talk & crawl while other can already. I think it will happen when the timing is right. As long nt too lag behind development. Do fill up the development Assement in your health booklet to keep your mind off those thinking...

some mummies from june thread went to TT trial @sin ming..read their posts..some commented the sin ming ctr equips quite worn out n not as colourful as the other ctrs...but i dun mind going trials at diff ctr..haha

Hi mummies,
The porridge tat I made for my gal seems bland leh..even though I put in pork ribs, fish & carrots for favour in the slow cooker. Normally how long do u cook the porridge in the slow cooker? Wat kinda texture is the porridge?

After eating porridge for 3 days, Kaylyn now starts to reject semi-solids again. Even cereals also dun want. I can only feed her fruit puree & brown rice into FM. hiaz...

did u boil the pork ribs & carrots until cooked then u add in rice for it to cook till porridge like before adding fish last ? It took about 2 -3 hour for slow cooker

My mum just use rice cooker to cook. On Sunday we started cooking it at around 3. Then when come back at around 6+ from the gymboree Kristen can start eating already. That day was fish, broccoli n carrot. Just dump everything in according to her.

The porridge is softsoft mashymashy. Can see abit of the rice shape but quite soft n watery. By that point the brocolli is like inexistent and the carrots are softsoft also.

all this is just observation. haha. i still have yet to cook my own. keke. but my girl loves her porridge that we juz try to control her intake.


i know my maid cooks her porridge in a pot n not slow cooker type. but i trust her la.. cos she tells me my girl loves porridge. i will ask her how long she cooks it for too.

hehe...my PUB bill will shoot up manz..cos i use slow cooker to cook the silverfish...pork..and carrot (at times) at nite ard 10+ 11pm b4 i went to bed..then next morning ard 7am i will take out the fish n meat...then throw in the rice to cook till 10plus am..by then the porridge nua nua liao..

Wow, you're very dedicated. Good for you! Lucky Ian. I use the microwave partially cos the brown rice I have takes ages to soften.
