even if u want to charge ur hubby it will take sometime.

If u really want to play safe then get a protection order for u and baby against him. Even if the police wanna charge him, it will take sometime.

Furthermore, u need to go thru some interview and they will make assessment if a protection order is really required.

Nothing is going to be easy and will be lengthy if come to law.

Hai, it's best if can mediate n solve the problem without involving the law. Maybe it's just me, but think that reporting to the police shld be d final option.

Must consider also that filing a report is not the end of yr problems lor. Think of the consequences first. There may be even more problems arising from the filing of a report. Whatever trust u n ur hubby have may be completely gone then. If you want to make up also more difficult. Also, think whether this would affect his career in the long run (if he decides to find a job other than be self-employed).

I'd put my vote to talk to your hubby when u're calmer n he is calmer too. Must communicate.

Sorry to hear about the fight between u and hubby.

I agree with peachsorbet actually..maybe you want to calm down first before taking any action. I believe we also need to strike a balance between protecting ourselves and salvaging the marriage. I'm not sure how many couples can still be on the mend after knowing that the wife has reported to the police the physical abuse. Most importantly, you also need to ask yourself whatis the OUTCOME that you want out of this. If you think there is still hope in this marriage, you may want to calm down first and talk things out. Just my two cents worth.

my ger got bored of all her toys oredi, nothing to let her play liao...i rented a Safety First Bouncing Baby Play Place for her but dun think can keep her occupied for long as well...headache

It already hurt the first time he lay hand on me. He promise me that he will not do it again but u see he did it again. This time even worst, i totally lose trust on him already. No more is he ever going to come close with me... forever.

Your bb has so much hair..so envious!! my bb has very very little hair still...so sad! Anything I can do to make her hair grow faster? Chinese NEw year coming leh...so malu.

You've put your bb on walker too? My ger doesnt quite like the walker...sit in there for at most 15 mins. She doesnt like the exersaucer also ....sigh..she doesnt seem to like anything except being carried!!

nowadays she doesnt stay long in d walker too, so i dun intend to invest too much in toys since she gets bored with them easily, so now into renting. i always have to find new ways to entertain her. ya she always want to be carried too!

our bb dun really like to be in walker liao, wah ur ian can "speed" oredi ah? so young so reckless liao...sigh men drivers...haha...mine always in reverse gear, she dunno how to "walk" forward then somehow always ended up in 1 of d empty bedroom then wait for me to "discover" her

same lah, she oso fuss after awhile but i think it's bcos she see im not beside her to play with her. haha ur julian likes d taste of d bumper mat edge? sometimes i worry all d germs they hv been licking. my ger likes to lick d rubber mat where i change her diaper on..pengz

It's good to know there's a place that rents ot toys. Do you know of any others cos like you said, many are rented out?

Dylan is bored of his mountain of toys as well. I've started giving him home-made ones like colourful pegs in a clear biscuit container and wooden spoons. Ha. If anyone's interested, one very good investment we made was on his door bouncer. He really loves it. Starts bouncing even before we've put him in it properly.

Sandy, my hubby is never a violent person, I am the one who is always more hot tempered, more violent and more unreasonable. But this time round, he is really really in the wrong. Thou he apologised, but i have not forgiven him yet.

Hong - emerson also likes to roll to the edge of the mat and chew.

lala, i think they just wanna "feel" I ever read a book that says they wanna feel the texture etc with their tongue coz tongue is the most sensitive part of the body.

I tried mash potato with milk and he doesnt like, keep shaking his head violently and wont open his mouth. When I try to pry it open he pui eberything out.

hey thanks for providing d website.

gillian likes mashed potato but i didnt add milk, just a bit of hot water to thin it down so easier for her to swallow. she also likes pumpkin n sweet potato. however she doesnt like fruits, tried apple n banana, gave me disgusted look, but i thot they shld like sweet foods first? hope she doesnt take after her daddy who dun take fruits at all
 
Hong, Blessing in disguise, or maybe E's jealous. He fell ill on the very day my SIL's bb came. Hahaha, subsequently as u already read, he was quite sick PD ask me to isolate E and my SIL was damn worried.. she took urgent leave and look for child care frantically. However so, she has not spoken to me since then and my MIL also never come over liao.

Dunno if they are angry or wat.
 
OC- Maybe the apple is sour, I dare not give E apple or banana or any fruit, coz I scare he will have phlegm. How did u cook the pumpkin? My pumpkin is very very hard. Steam for 10mins still hard.

Pumpkins need to be steamed for a longer duration, maybe u try 15 to 20mins? Or maybe pumpkins have different kinds n d one u bought just happened to be harder?

Guess it was really a blessing in disguise cos im sure your SIL wouldnt want her newborn bb to get d virus from E. They shouldnt be angry what since it cant be helped, so maybe better still this way ya

Jan Gathering:
I dun mind opening up my hse for the gathering tis mth if MTDT's hse is not convenient. But have to be on 20th Jan (sat) cos my hubby will be away for work after tat. How? My hse in Hougang. Should b quite centralised?

I read that babies take about 10 times of trying a new food to like it. What is suggested is to let them try the same food a week later, and again a week later till they like it. But never force or allow feeding to become an unpleasant experience. Dylan used to pull faces when he first started weaning. Now he's very good and will give everything a chance with a few tastes before he decides. ;-)

Yes i've seen those! Oh but i went so many places that day...ok it's either Mothercare or Toy R'S baby section, but i definitely saw them beofre n told myself will get them next time,. Sorry i didnt check d price though
