Zita, I sort of let him suck my nipple only at night, coz he's quite active and refuse to sleep at night. Day time he drinks milk and fall asleep halfway. it's been 7 weeks liao, still not pus.

I had some itchiness last week too... but now ok liao..

try to wear loose underwear and 100% cotton.

thanks for d advice...problem is when i pump, d amt very miserable, pump whole day only enuf for 1 feed...dat means my ms really low is it?

ya i also thot maybe she is not hungry jus want to suck something so will let her suck on my nipple to sleep but after awhile she wakes up n cry again. as for pacifier sometimes it work but sometimes dun lor, she will cry even louder...sigh
 
OC, u pump and latch? If so, of coz the amt is little. I share with u what i did during the transformation... I just let BB drink one day of FM and pump in the morning...after a few hours (pref in line with BB feeding time) I pump again and BB wants to feed lioa I pump another time, til the whole day, then next day i can start feeding BB with EBM. I did so to establish the pattern and supply. I started off pumping only 2oz each pump...but my BM gradually increases...

But sad to say, dunno for whatever reason, my left breast produce very little milk and right is like 3 times for than left... and I am very lazy to do the pumping biz now.. haha
 
Z-lia, Dsiitan, don't be upset, I also kena the same from my boy. When my hubby and I taking care of him, he cranky. When my MIL and mum came and take care of him, he sleep all the way. Then at night after feed, don't sleep. Yesterday night, after feed, baby don't want to sleep till this morning, then sleep. *sigh*

OC, I also leh, feel like giving up breastfeeding.

When I am in confinement, the Confinement lady keep telling me baby hungry, and to latch on the whole day. Till a few days ago, PD tells me that actually baby only drink 10mins from each breast, the rest of the latching on will be some sort of pacifier for the baby which the baby will be addicted to. So have to kick this habit away. I am so angry with the CL when I heard this. Now when I carry my baby, he keeps looking for his "human pacifier", so I bo pian, have to let him cry till he stops.
 
PM, I'm still doing my confinement, this is the 4th week... the itchness & peeling it's at my panty line... mayb i have sensitive skin that's why... now shld be 2 wks already still have not recover...
 
OC, dun get discourage by the amt.. I read somewhere that it will increases,the more we empty our breast, so pump or latch BB more frequently. Each time I feel like giving up, I will read some articles on the net about breastfeeding to encourage myself....

mummies..if u all are going back to work and hor...been BF directly...maybe now must train ur bb to use bottle liao..my fren...all along direct BF...then after 2-3 mths...she wanna bottle feed the bb....the bb cried like nobody biz...aiyo..she so headache...cos she needs to work and hor..now she's the only feeder loh...cos bb wants breast mah..dun want bottle....
 
Jas, u try giving him pacifier? I use pigeon's can use to "bluff" baby... hahaha

Eeyore, same here, i experience the same thing and i know how it feels very difficult to walk right... ? what i did was i wear very loose panty so that it wont rub against my skin and I buy those cotton pad instead of plastic ones, if u can, but those without wings too..
 
PM, I tried liow. Whenever he wants the "human pacifier", he will cry and scream. Must force or wait till he don't cry and scream, then he will take the pacifier. He still remember the latching on habit.
 
OIC.... I only use the human pacifier when I am lazy as in I am to lie down to sleep with him.... Think it takes time for him to adjust to it. Each time he cry and scream u offer the pacifier first if he really dun want then give him "yr weapon" as my hubby likes to call it..
 
oc, I tink yr BM is veri little leh, if pump 120ml whole day,then direct latch only around 200ml...where got enough? maybe reason of crying..sucking nipple act as pacificer...Y not give FM? then pump out to feed for the 1 feed loh..freq pumping will also increase supply.

eeyore..i also sam encouter at wk4 veri itchy..when wound is healing n got some infection due to damp, cause we wear pad!..try not to wear pad if lochia is little.. wear loosen n cotten panty..if too itchy go c GP..will give medi to apply... that time i itchy till cant sleep, apply lotion liao, then recover...
 
zita, same here lol... can't slp well at night... coss pain oso... then still in confinement... daree not go out too... that's why bear with it first... try to apply some medicine that i can find at home but doesn't seems to recover...
 
Go c GP, I run out to c doc..no choice, cant sleep/sit or walk..., she give me cream apply liao immediately not so itchy...! n also every time after toilet use warm water to wash n dry...I use lactacd femine wif warm water to clean...quite effective. Too itchy so try both method..advise by GP

Zita how come different?

My gyane gave me some solution to mix with water in a basin and ask me to sit on it when i bathe myself. So shoick when I do that...

Zita, I dare not use the lactacd coz hor i scare it will sting the skin esp when it's peeling..
 
zita... I'm using the wash as well but i use running water not waarm water, bcos after delivery I got piles n the nurse at the gynae clinic advise me to use running water to clean... warm water might worsen the piles so up till now i never use waarm water to wash private part...

eeyore go c doc n get the lotion to apply, cause might have infection...u got take a look at private part? healing well?

Oh maybe try once warm water..will feel relieve from itch awhile...heehee

not sure if any of u tried this method, i had abrasion down there due to long wearing of sanitary pads during confinement, n i wore with wings one so kept rubbing my skin until so pain.
wat i did was after shower every nite, my hb will apply bb's nappy rash cream onto d affected areas n it worked, think same logic it acts as a barrier, i using drapolene

only BCG jab will leave a scar and look a bit like little pimple and sometime will have a little pus. It is ok

it is normal. will take some time to go away. My boy scar is also red.

Jas, my boy poo either alternate day or everyday (once). he is on FM now.

I realised that my ger ger is not as big as most of your babies. She is in her 8th week and still using Pampers Premium Newborn!!! Then for other brands she fit nicely in NB or S size. But Pampers Baby Dry's S size looks tight on her....will have the markings on her tighs.

Maybe we should do a review on disposable diapers?? and lobangs on where to find good price

dsii, i know laio.. u just go to the program PAINT, under START MENU, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES. Then you open the image u saved, then u SAVE AS 'JPEG'. Then should be able to attach. Cos JPEG file size is alot smaller than BMP.
