maybe i can go buy from Jane's Cake Station along Jln Kayu (near my house) then dun have to trouble anyone to bake... i've never tasted their cake but it was ranked one of the best in SGP by straits times Sunday Lifestyle food section (together with Lana cake...) but uniqueone, i look fwd to tasting ur cheesecake, cos i lurrrrve cheesecake!

I know about Jane's Cake, but haven't tried b4. Their speciality is I think chocolate and durian. Lana cake - where is this? I've tasted a cake I think it's from Lana but not very sure....it was a rich chocolate cake. Very delicious. The box is just plain white lousy packaging with their address sticker in purple. Is this Lana?

You knw, in between Jan'e cake and the roti prata, got this otah distributor. They got nice otah but dunno if they start selling in the early morning anot, cos we usu buy late afternoon.

Btw, any of u gals got bb have the habit to suck thumb to sleep? Mine has!!!!! It's getting worse. Now every night she wakes up and cry I wonder if she was simply looking for her thumb. Coz once I carry her up, she sticks it in and stop crying.

Feeding solids - wonder how u gals been progressing? I am slow. Just started last week on brown rice cereal and chenoa sharing that the news article says not too good izzit?

wah piang... my ger just picked up the habit today. Now she is sleeping with her thumb in her mouth!! And these 2 days hor, she play with saliva leh.. blow bubbles and make funny noise.

yah, that's the one, the plain box. i've never bought lana cake myself, it's always other pple buy, i eat! haah... but i remember reading from the paper that the auntie who bakes the cakes doesn't work everyday... i think quite hard to buy. sorry ladies, i HATE durians, so no durian cake! :p well, if uniqueone is gng ahead with her cheesecake, i think i dun buy the choc cake liao, otherwise too much food, very wasted.

Sucking of thumb.. yes Isaac has the same habit that's the reason i'm force to give him pacifier..but then he will stuck his thumb.

I cant remember where i read before it says as long as your child will stop it habit by 1 plus to 2. you are safe and it is a routine so usually kids will kick off the habit by then.

however, in honest i doubt any kids will quit the habit. and some mummies r confident that their child will kick the habit off. so didnt give pacifier.

i'm not that confident coz' i've seen a big guy like age 21 then still sucking his thumb. that's why i give in and let him have pacifier.

I can't attend 21st event. My hb said with the haze thingy better dun bring XT out unless indoor with aircon facilities. =(

BTW, XT has been rubbing her eyes very violently and nose as well. Think she's like me very sensitive to haze.

i notice that but he wear mitten to sleep otherwise he scratch his face until he become hua lian already. so now suck thru his mittens. Occasionally i let him hv pacifier othewise he just suck his mitten.

actually hor he very funny one. When i put on his mitten he will stared and turn his hand and think how to eat. hahaha

Dr Keoy is a v mild person. Dreamy dreamy one. You got see the photos of him and the babies? hahaha...he talk to us always close the eyes, but when comes to photo, his eyes big big. We jokingly told his recp nurse that next time we should hold camera and talk to him so that he will open his eyes. wahahaha

but seems like now the hair seems drop lesser.. dt kw is it due to my new hair cut or the shampoo or is time to stop.. Hmm..

Dr Keoy gd meh? He was my gal's PD at birth. Dun hv gd impression of him ler so din continue using him. No doubt his charges is reasonable. I feel he is very poor at PR.

hee... me not so wei da, 2 mths back i sent him to IFC liao. cannot cope w him around when i hv to take lots of conf calls and cannot always schedule around his naptime.

u see me good i see u good lah. working fm home means i work longer hours and work anytime. i wan a regular job w/o travelling leh

Good or bad is subjective de....depends on your expectations and your comfort level with the PD. if you are looking for a conversational PD, he's not loh. He's to the point, does his job. He's gentle with babies and you should see how his eyes light up at babies. When speaking to YY, he will look at her intentively, but when speaking to us, his eyes will open &amp; close but remain closed most of the time. It's funny. My hubby says he like not enough sleep like that.

He reminds me of my Sec4 English teacher. She also close her eyes and speak / read to us. We thought she was very weird and always wondered how she could see the passage with her eyes closed. hahaha
 
haha.. twinkle true, aiya for me i want a job that pays me well lei. now falls in a comfort zone have to thk carefully before jumping out from here.

I rememeber i see quite a few mummies here liao but non of the mummies is fatter than me leh... haiz, wondering when than can slim down.

My hair also has seems to drop lesser liao. Hope it will stop coz everywhere i go, i see hair. Have to use magic clean to go round the house twice a day or else can flood with hair liao... heehee

i also used magic clean like 1sttimemum. Quite effective. But hor, long time never use so that time when i took out the wiper, the rubber padding at the bottom all dropped out leh!! I threw away then never buy new one liao. So heartpain as it is not cheap.

ya lor, i was with him but he want attention and mummy cannot concentrate to work. Now project is moving fast so no choice lor.

i still hv to work at night so i try to be free for 3 nights so that he is happy. Last night sulk so long bcos mummy working.
