Des n mommies who bought leapfrog exersaucer

For the first batch mommies n bbs, look like ur bbs can sit in just nice into exersaucer huh?

For second batch, did ur bbs ve any prob sitting in the exersaucer?

Xuanting looks like not big enuf to sit. She needs to stretch herself front to play the toys le.. n my family kept nagging at me to let her play in there as scared later hurt her spine.

So, only let her play no more than 10 minutes le.

Really a pity that this exersaucer not able to convert itself to a walker.

It can lock the turning portion n so making into a walker is not difficult. Hmmm..

Cheona, can upate for me, Nix's on S26 and rice porridge now.. btw, where can i find HealthyTimes and Earth's Best rice cereal? didn't see them in local supermarket..

Nix is on the brown rice which i bought from medical hall and i have added cod fish and pumkin and he simply love it.. keep hurry us to feed him with big spoon.. keke.. will change to carrot and salmon for him soon.. or else he will get sick of it..

Brought nix to pool yesterday morning.. doi.. so cold.. will not bring him in the morning anymore but in the evening.. he experience fear more than enjoying with the water (wat i felt).. i have bought him the float and he quite at ease and keep kicking the water.. he will "swim" to me when i let go and when he heard me..

wanna brought Nix to esplanade to watch fire work on last saturday but traffic heavily jammed, in the end, watch it in the car.. dun have tat kind of "wow" mood to watch in the car.. wanna bring him there again to watch but mil dun seems too happy cos she said too crowded.. sigh..

Evon, my boy oso cannot sit fully when in the toy, he has to lean to it so I oso limit him to about 5 to 10mins. Ur mum is quite cute leh. She asked me cannot convert to walker, quite a pity.

My boy had his 2nd dose of 6-in-1 injection and rotavirus on sat morning. Developed fever at night. He can still drink his milk and play quite well although more manja. Needs more carrying than usual.

My doctor oso did a DA (Development assessment) for him before the injection. His motorskills, personal social and physical examination, etc are normal except he belongs to the small percentile. Like me, he will be of a smaller built. No wonder, my boy is quite small compared to other babies.

I also brought Lucas for his 5in1 jab + rotavirus on sat morning. So far, he only had lao sai symptom. Also feeling abit cranky. PD mentioned some bbs will get laosai. Did u give ur boy barley water? Lucas is 6.63kg and standing at 61.8cm. He falls under 50 ercentile.

Ur boy got soooo much hair! So envious leh My owen, not so cranky and surprisly, he behave even better than his normal days. hehee... He dun get laosai except fever. Luckily, the fever has subsidised yesterday. But I still take leave to be on the safe side plus somemore, I oso not feeling very good. Caught a cold. Luckily my mum came over yesterday night to stay-over instead of me bringing Owen back to her. Owen is 6.15kg at 4mths 3 days and standing at 59cm. He's smaller than ur boy.

I did. That was when bblim organized quite sometime back tat time.

Bought the LG Primemat... think quite good as bb can sit on the mat n play or lie n play or sleep there n no worries on bb getting "feng si" (the oldies always say dun sit on the cold floor).

Quite easy to manage.

Think when she can walk n crawl, I juz need to get a fence n fence it ard the mat n that would b her play area. No need to get a playpen. =p

des, i got the bumper playmat from previous BP.. world map design, very nice.. i've put the playmat at my inlaws' place and thinking of ordering another pc for my mum's place but the price make me think twice and hubby suggest to get those puzzle floor mat which i can remove it when dun need it.. still considering it..

The ABC playmat turned "yellow" after a while n read tat has some chemicals tat re harmful on bbs. Also, read tat some may turn sticky after several use le.

Tat's why I didn't get the playmat then.

The ABC mat material is different fm the playmat and like wat evon had said, the chemicals might be harmful to BB since they will be lying down and their saliva drools, etc. The playmat can be cleaned with a damp cloth but for ABC mat, I think after cleaning, its still not tat clean ;p

Playmat vs Bumper mat
I bought the worldmap mat fm BP too. Good investment. I heard and read tat those ABC playmat is toxic, hence, not so good for bb. Heard from fren tat puzzle mat tend to slip off fm ground,it does not stick to the floor, hence, can become slippery when the bb start crawling, walking or running.

btw... has Issac started flipping? Lucas show no sign of turning yet lei, worried how come he so slow....Also, finally got the Leapfrog, true enuff, he cant sit for long, lose interest after awhile. Sigh! Can Issac stay in it for long?

Think perhaps the ergo carrier is mroe suited for older babies.. my girl didnt like it initially and kept crying as her legs have to be very wide opened.. but she is very comfortable in it now...

How many of your bbs are flipping? My pd thot me a way to make bb flip. Very easy for them. My girl tried 1, 2 times now and she is up enjoying herself. See when I'm free, I take pic to show you all.

My boy has already turn and flip. He likes to flip whenever he's on the bed or on the floor. We always have to fight when changing diapers cos he will want to turn.
