I think my boy also envy Amanda lah. He also got nothing to play except one toy(I also dunno what to call it).

However, he got lots of toys at my mom place because I used to buy toys for his cousin since young. Not a single toy at Ah Ma place also.

Luckly I never stroll down all the way to the market place at this forum, or else I also spend a lot.
 
Hey everyone.. good news regarding the Flash Cards BP..

Have talked to Mr Koh, and managed to negotiate the discount structure:

5 boxes (from any category): 5%
10 boxes(''): 10%
15 boxes (''): 15$
20 boxes (''): 20%

Will close the BP once 20 boxes are hit.. think some of the March MTBs are going to join in the BP too

Yah, I think my hubby better count himself lucky. My bad habit is that I always think twice, three time, four time before buying, even if the toy cost only $5. Poor KJ.

i hv the tinylove playgym but my boy seem to be scared when i let him lie on it. so now i move the hanging toys to one side and let him play only one.

Any suggestions. btw he is just 3mths.
 
Xuanting oso got scared initially... then intro her bit by bit...

Like she wants to hold something... n thix playgym can allow her hold this "butterwing" wings.. n she enjoyed the noise n later she started hitting some toys.. =p

But guess can't play long.. xuanting's attention span seems rather short. =(

Dunno normal or not.
 
i just bought the Fisher Price bouncer with calming vibrations yesterday. should have bought it long ago! my girl managed to nap in it twice today

i think the next big toy i'm gonna get for K is the FP Jumperoo, very fun, tried it at a friend's place. she likes it a lot more than the exersaucer.

for those who were planning on going for tomorrow morning's (friday) class, it is <u>cancelled</u> and will be starting next fri. found out when i called just now, and sunday's class is getting full so anyone who plans to go for sunday's class, pls call them up 1st.

maybe u can consider getting a FP Elmo playgym.. i got it for Ryan n he likes it..think helikes Elmo also leh..

Ryan looks engrossed with the play gym huh... think Lucas will like it too. I have this FP kick &amp; play bouncer, where it has music n lights, he gets fasinated &amp; very excited whenever the music n lights are turned on. His response very cute and funny one lei....

i have playgym set too, but i havent opened yet. duno if Lucas will like it. Its a japanese brand. Gift fm fren during his 1st mth. Must explore it this weekend liao. So... u placed the Elmo gym on the bed? Perhaps, i will put the gym on a mattress on the ground.
 
We brought KJ something like that too, I dunno it is call a gym.

However, KJ was not very interested in that thing leh, I think he prefer to look at me.

yar..Ryan likes the playgym very much..initially he was kinda intimidated by it but now he likes it..the playgym has music, light n sound as well..maybe Lucas will like the playgym set u have..can try to introduce it to him liao lor..

i shift my sofabed from the study room to the hall during my confinement period..since then Ryan sleeps there during the afternoon till evening..it's also his play area lor..haha

Perhaps i dun need to buy another set of gym. Like Maraquan,I also thot tat activity gym is like Tinylove tat evon has bought. So...I just need to invest in a cartoon bedspread for his floor mattress. Since I have the over-head toy(gym), its already a substitute.

Discovered a new response from Lucas last nite. Lucas was sitted quietly in his bouncer and sucking his own hands while hb n myself were talking. Suddenly, i realised he stopped sucking and just watched us. When hb talked, he looked at hb, and when i talked, he turned to look at me.. he just spent his time watching both of us talk... kekeke... so cute...

What are the changes u make beforehand to prepare ur baby to adjust the days u were absent? E.g intro FM? Bottle feed?

Coz I m still deciding whether to follow my hubby go Taiwan in Aug. Can't bear to leave my little one at home. But desperately needed a break.

Initally tot of bringing my ah gal along. But will hv to drop the idea since Taiwan experiencing typhoon recently. Very worried dat after 5 days, she may get used to bottlefeeding n refuse to latch on. N oso many things to worry of like getting used to sleep in sarong coz I have trained very hard to make her sleep on bed. Haizzz...

i am keen, but still unsure abt the difference between walker n exersaucer. will we still need to get a walker if we buy exersaucer?

My girl refuses to be bottle fed.. I tried making her drnk water from the syringe and it works! This way she wont get nipple confusion and you wont have to spend a long time trying to bottle feed her...

me going HK without my bb..i'm trying to reduce my MS so i can enjoy my trip by expressing morning n night only..used to express 3 times a day..my bb is ok with latch on n bottle feed so far..

my mum will b coming over to my place to stay n take care of him wile i'm away..cos she's worried that bb will recognise the place..

so far..these are the arrangements i've made, not sure if it works cos me going only next fri..

it depends very much on individual if there's a need for a walker or not..err..dun know how to advise u on this leh..

cos the exersaucer is stationery, though bb seems to be standing n "walking" on it.. but walker is mobile lor..

yes. understand tat walker can be stationery too. it has a stopper to make it stationery. walker has toys attached at the front panel too.

depends on what type of walker u r looking at yeah... cos the walker i have at home doesnt have many toys available.. and the exersaucer's toys are alot more interactive.. and helps to develop motor skills, language skills etc

Agree. i think the exersaucer's toys are more interactive. I am attracted to it myself. It would be good if the exersaucer has rollers. at least, the bb wont be bored in one position. Is there any exersaucer tat comes with rollers? I will go for tat.
