hi all,
do any of you know where to buy the pigeon wipes that come in a plastic box? somehow i've never seen it available, i'm always buying the $9.95 for 3 packs set which is actually refills for the plastic box. the sticky tab on the top is starting to annoy me cos hubby always leaves it open and the wipes start drying up

I ever asked a promoter for it and she sort of told me they are phasing it out. If u can get it, should be old stock. Grab hold of one before it disappears totally.

wouldn't it be dangerous to shave so near the eyes? And I remember reading something abt...the more you shave, the more brittle and hard the hairs get. Hope it doesn't apply to everyone.

I have problems with the Avent extra soft ones even for my baby. Now I resorted to putting the Pigeon peristaltic ones on the Avent bottles. It works. Baby likes it better. I also feel that it is softer.

I am very amazed with this Boh Boi lady aka Mrs Wong from TMC, she seems to be able to give advice from BB's perspective rather than from a paranoid mum's. When I am in her clinic for treatment and observe how she talks to bbs, she sure can talk abt anything under the sun with them, from girlfriend/boyfriend to even politics during the election period! I talk to J for 15 mins and already run out of topics liao.

My PC crashed and only got repaired yesterday afternoon. Lucky can still salvage the contents in the hard disk otherwise YY's precious photos all gone up in smoke.

, so he promptly went down to Sim Lim to get it fixed. luckily, we managed to get our precious pics back

yah hahaha, she is indeed. i myself am quite surprised as i'm not very big-sized but my hubby is, so i guess she got it from him. we were trying to think back to how/when she grew so big, cos when she was born, we felt she was so tiny and fragile and were so afraid we'd hurt her when we carried her!!! how time flies....

Tiffany: mine do carry my boy coz' when she come my hse i told her my top top priority is my son and not my hse work. I agree with Mandy must close one eye on maid. If not can never find good one. Mine maid face always black black, eat food like the food owe her thousand of $$. my sil says give my maid a knife, she will look like a killer hahaha!

mel lim, hahaha! what i did now since my bedroom door is covered with winne the pooh & frds stickers. So each picture i will tell a story, and it seems to me he enjoys it very much. Or to make slp, i will pat him and say, "winne the pooh ask Isaac what did Isaac do today.. blah blah. he keeps quiet and listen but then i thk my story too boring not long he will slp.hahaha
from the young parents - baby mag, i've also read that is very impt to start reading to bb. so i bought a lot of bb story book on fri fm popular and start reading to him maybe u can try that. there a saying "baby born to read, and read to BOND"
hopefully in near future the flashcard will help him even more.

I read that it is sentence/words recognition they are absorbing. they dunno how to differentiate if you are reading story books/newspaper or even a medical journal.....what they focus on is when a sentence start/stop, the pitch of your voice etc. i know la...all mummies cannot tahan one....must buy nice nice things for their BBs....hee hee

For me, when Isaac is on his 1st month I shave his botak haha.
As for the class, i would say is more for mom than for bbs. Actually teaching us how to let your bb absorb wordings (ENG & Chinese) better using flashcard. I personally feel no harm to go up and listen then decide on your own whether to get the flashcard for your bb.

Tks for compliment. I lost all my fats bcoz i have an active and wakeful boy. He needs alot of attention. He dont cry.. he SCREAMS.. always have to attend to him fast before he yell even louder. My MIL said.. she so paiseh coz Lucas always scream loudly while her neighbour's baby (6mth now) no noise one. He very fussy boy also! *Sigh* like tis cannot, like tat also cannot. Dont dare to think abt 2nd baby now. Another factor.... Maid problem! All these contribute to how I lost all my fats... I actually gained 16kg up till week 36.
I think you are slim too. Anyway, dont have to worry, u will lose all the "extra" when Issac starts walking.

i'm using pigeon bottles. the milk flow regulator ensures that the milk doesn't flow out too fast, you just insert it into the bottom of the teat, the pointy part facing the teat. i've never used any other type of bottle so can't comment on any comparison. but there was one time when hubby forgot to put in the regulator and my bb kept having milk dribbling out the side of her mouth, so this regulator suits her quite well.
