wah, so good. I can't speak/understand malay other than roti, satu, kosong and malay street names. Hahaha. Oh and our national anthem. I know more japanese words than malay. So sad hor, and that's our national language. hahahah.

Maybe our toddlers is at such a phase? I am constantly battling with Megan..... She likes to do the opposite and the more you ask her to do, the more she don't want to. Like putting on clothes after shower...... have to play catching with her. Ask her to wear her own shoes and she dilly dally. Had tried shutting the door and leave her alone at home for 30 secs but it doesn't scare her. She always want her way........ last night we were looking at our Hong Kong trip photos and she said she want to go Hong Kong now. And she literally mean NOW. Told her must buy tickets etc, she start to scream "I want, i want" and start stamping her feet, cry, throw herself onto the bed............
Likewise when we saw some birds on the tree while in the car and when the car move, she insist on seeing birds etc and whine in the car.
Every moment is a battle......... can be very tiring. SOmetimes i do ignore her but she can cry and whine non stop for a 30min car journey. If at home, i just bring her to the naughty corner and let her cry all that she wants.........

Sy- they said the class is from 9am to 3p.m. not sure why so long. wonder how are they gg to have lunch. no la no need to accompany them la. just drop and pick them later. are u interested too? if so, maybe we can have them go together...and in the long run, since we stay so close..maybe we can take turn to pick and send them for classes. haha..what says u?

Heehee, so Mel is not alone. We used to ignore Mel when she throw tantrums and lie down on the floor. But her teachers were telling us is better to explain to her that is not a right thing to do. Thereafter, whenever she lies down on the floor, I'll pull her up, put her on my lap and tell her is not a right thing to do. I find that now she doesn't lie down on the floor as often when she throw tantrums. Also encouragement and praise seems to work better with Mel than punishment. She's much more willing to keep her toys and shoes whenever she step into the house.

haha, my boy doesn't lie down on the floor when he throws tantrums. Instead, he'll knock his head on the floor. And he knows it's painful, so u can see him controlling his strength when he slowly lowers his head to the floor. After u hear the pop, he'll start to wail in pain. Hahah. Bad mummy, couldn't help laughing when i saw that.
Altho he's got a bad temper, he gets over it quickly too. Just needed to play 'peek a boo'
with him, and he's happy again, or he'll try to restrain his laughter and yet wanna cry. Hahaha. I usually just dump a towel/ or his shirt over his head then pull it down. SOmehow he loves that and will start to chuckle. It kind of provided him with the distraction and he'll stop the nonsense.

I wanna go for the museum mozart prog too! But timing is bad.

He'll cry and scream till 12midnight before he sleeps. sigh. think it's coz his daddy came back to the room to sleep with me, so he didn't like that. He kept wanting his daddy to sleep with him.

1. mamapanda - decidING between Nanyang, kinderland, appletree or St Joseph. Most likely St Joseph.
Took a trip down to St Joseph Church yday to take a look at the kindergarten and I like that place. Its clean, good curriculum, and much cheaper than the other 2. Only worry is its non-aircon and Ariene is quite pampered with aircon :/ Anyone has any comments regarding kinderland@Sunshine place and Appletree@CCK place? I've also placed Ariene in the Q for Nanyang Kindergarten but chances are slim. 200+ in queue (they are not affliated to Nanyang Pri but my husband like there cuz they're FULL chinese curriculum) Or any other good kindergartens to recommend?

yup went there before there is a branch at vivo too. My husband like the food there but we like the yakitori even better at Far East shopping centre Nanbentai authentic Japanese one , we even visited the branch at Shinjuku

same here. My boy is very sticky to my HB as well. I think it's because my HB is very soft hearted and can take his nonsense. Other than that, my HB is his favourite playmate. He'll also want my HB to sleep with him. He can do without mummy during sleeptime, but not daddy. Sometimes, I also feel left out. There are still times which my boy will stick to me, it's just that now, it's less frequent.

Wow, talking about Kindergarten already??? My Isaac is not even in playgroup yet! Do we have to look out for Kindergarten so early?

yesterday hb just said if i wan to stop working, JH got to switch sch. prob send him to somewhere cheaper. may switch to riverlife but i feel so sad to pull him out from where he is cos he is doing well there.

there was one day JH ask me to go out of the room and he say he stay with papa. i did feel a bit of sadness also cos i m still his fav. does your hb spend a lot of time with him? JH will still look for me esp at night and he will beat daddy in the morning when he wakes up and tell him to go away.

Thank you mummies for all the support and overwhelming response for the DUCKtours. I've contacted the girl whom I spoke with 3 weeks back and found out that she's no longer with the company (her name is Deborah). And after speaking to the collleague who took over her (Heather), I've found out the following which was not communicated back to me despite my repeatedly asking:
1) newborns, infants, or bbs are still counted as per 1 pax on board the craft. This is due to them following LTA regulations. So whether they are carried or occupy one seat, they are still counted as per head.
2) Therefore per craft can carry up to 31 heads regardless of age (newborn - 99 years old)
3) I will highlight the affected families in <font color="ff0000">Red</font>. Kindly let me know the soonest possible if you still want to proceed on or not.
I really apologize for this that it was not communicated properly back to me, I should have called instead of relying on email

Registration for pre-nursery for 3-year-olds start in april. Since Ariene is already in a playgroup, I don't want to break the sequence so I want to let her continue on to a pre-nursery (or some centres call it N1), then nursery (some call it N2) and continue on to K1 and K2. To me, its just somewhere for her to enjoy herself for 3h a day and socialise esp when she's alone at home. No one to interact with.

Thank you mummies for all the support and overwhelming response for the DUCKtours. I've contacted the girl whom I spoke with 3 weeks back and found out that she's no longer with the company (her name is Deborah). And after speaking to the collleague who took over her (Heather), I've found out the following which was not communicated back to me despite my repeatedly asking:
1) newborns, infants, or bbs are still counted as per 1 pax on board the craft. This is due to them following LTA regulations. So whether they are carried or occupy one seat, they are still counted as per head.
2) Therefore per craft can carry up to 31 heads regardless of age (newborn - 99 years old)
3) I will highlight the affected families in <font color="ff0000">Red</font>. Kindly let me know the soonest possible if you still want to proceed on or not.
I really apologize for this that it was not communicated properly back to me, I should have called instead of relying on email

Yes, its already inclusive of estimated shipping based on the shipping weight provided by Luckvitamin and Amazon plus an additional 1kg for boxes below 5kg, and 2kg for boxes below 10kg and 2.5kg for boxes 10kg and above (I got the estimated weight of the boxes from past sprees. The bigger the box, the heavier it is, so I'm also trying to keep the boxes as small as possible by seperating the big items and small items)
