i cannot tahan screaming children but unfortunately my girl is v agressive and she screams when she doesn't get what she wants. I will tell her firmly that the behaviour is not acceptable but will still give in to her, read somewhere that babies feel insecure when rejected, by giving in to them, they'll feel loved and that will make the bb happy. bb will also will not develop self-confidence if faced with rejection all the time e.g. we are always telling bbs no-this-no-that, cannot bite this, cannot touch that etc. it will be good if we can create a safe environement, e.g. only give them toys suitable for them, safe-proof the house and then just let them explore the world.
my girl is v playful so we establish a bed-time routine to signal that it's time for her to sleep. we always set time aside abt 30mins for her to wind-down, she gets a bath/wipe and change to pj, then we switch on the bedside lamp. if they hv been playing/active, it'll take awhile for them to calm down for sleep.
