Trying to Conceive 2019


hi im ttc for about 6 months but still no news..how do u all start with the body check to ensure everything is ok? i did only 2 blood test but i heard there is also a scan to make sure the tube is not block?

The fallopian tube test is called the hsg test.. There a lot of test to do for pre pregnancy if u really want a detailed one.. But I guess the most basic one will be hormones test, hsg test, amh and fsh.. For guys i think only sperm analysis needed..

I did my tests with kkh..

May i check how much did u pay for all the checks at kkh? Did u wait v long for the appt?

I requested for dr thh hence the wait for appt was slightly long.. Ard 1 month wait.. So far I've only did the blood test and pap smear with them.. Everything cost ard $450 inclusive of consultation fee..

SA cost ard $100..

For the hsg i heard ppl saying can be claimed under medisave so the amt to pay from your pocket is ard $100++.. Think hsg test full amt ard $300++..

I'm going for the hsg test this wed.. Will let you know the exact cost is u want to..

Thanks for the info! May i check if yours is considered private patient rate? I saw thomson fertility centre offering a fertility check for $450 and thought kkh would be cheaper.

Yup.. Mine consider pte as I've requested for a snr doc.. For subsidies rate I think u might need to go poly clinic to get a referral letter to kkh..

TTC #1... i had my polpys removal 1yr ago bt fibroids still in my womb...failed 1st IUI on ytd...tdy per doctor advise, m going to start SO IUI...pray hard

HI, I am currently seeking 2nd opinion from private gynae. He prescribed me with Revosit + Pre-natal Multi-vits + Folic Acid.
I think you have to look at the content of the multi vits.

For mine, Folic acid content is 800microgram (mcg) in the multi vits. I did ask my gynae if I could rely on the folic acid in the multi vits. His reply was insufficient intake, hence I have to top-up with a folic acid tab (5milligram, mg which I bought from Unity).

Hi, I have been TTC for a while now.... more than 6 months. I have a daughter who just turned 3. So I'm not new to this 2WW or pregnancy symptoms. My period cycle has been regular and projected period is next week (12 July). These few days, I have been having pregnancy symptoms like dizzy, nausea, headache, tailbone painful and my boobs are visibly bigger and it hurts too. However, I did not experience any cramping or spotting. So the question is..... should I test or wait it out?

Ive made an appoiment at Raffles Fertility Medical this coming 29 July, i have done my research and compare the price. I think for fertility basic check up its quite affordable. Hope this helps!
