What's the 7th wk horror scan? Actually I don't recall hvg ms so early for #1. But I do notice the symptoms come n go. Some days are better than the others.

Happened to me yesterday too. After a very heated meeting at work. So I took it as a sign of getting overworked as well. If it happens a 2nd time maybe you shld see the gynea to play safe?

I think its low in sugar and blood pressure combined. I keep sucking sweet after the cold sweat. Then evening time i took my blood pressure at home, its lower than normal. I am also worried abt diabetic so I dare not eat a lot of sweet stuff.... but now no choice, eat sugar better than cold sweat and fainting. I am scheduled to see my gyne in early dec... so I guess will just wait till then. Last week the ms was so bad, i went to the gyne to take some anti vomit med but it caused giddiness so I din take. Spend close to $200 but not effective. Decided to just endure and see how.....

Does anyone knows if gelish nails are still safe for us? My gyne said normal nail polish is fine but she did not know what is gelish haaa
I know some mummies doing gelish at the nail parlor. but they put the LED light far away from their tummy.
Ginger tea works for me..
I was given the same thing for my #1 becuase i had red spotting. if i dont rememeber wrongly, Gynae told me to take it to stabilise the pregnancy. I was told to stop taking during my 2nd trimester
Chemicals on us now may not be good.

I Agree with agneschia, chemical maybe harmful to our body. So me also thinking to have my hair rebond cos you know CNY approaching. But think better wait till I give birth. By the way, anyone knows if our body will be heaty during pregnancy, esp 1st trimester? Cos' I got painful lumps on my throat. Not sure if it's too heaty?

My suggestion is refrain from doing colouring/nails/rebonding during 1st tri and tahan til 2nd tri...I did my rebonding and colouring in 2nd tri, bo bian coz hair really very ugly and messy..haa but first fri better stay away since baby is forming at a critical stage..
charlene: I also dunno what to eat everyday...the only thing i like to eat is tao huay, soya bean curd...but cant possibly have that for 3 meals.. haa..
Going for my gynae appt at 2pm now...yay...

Oh dear charlene, if continues really hv to admit to hospital.. i had a friend who is suffering really bad ms too and she cant keep anything down, had to admit twice.. u take care and consult gynae ok..
I just done at gynae, we saw the heartbeat! Puts my mind really to ease! I am 6w2d and bb is 7mm!

Hello ladies, congrats to all Joining you here after 4 days of lurking in this thread (my journey with ttc-ing has resulted in me not daring to hope, but that's another story...), just didn't dare to barge in lest I jinx myself. :x It's still really early for me, first scan is scheduled 2 weeks later on 27 Nov, praying so hard that all will be well, that we would have a strong heartbeat in the correct place.
BTW @Sunshine2005 , have you started thinking about which NUH gynae you wanna be transferred to after Prof is done with you? I can't seem to find much reviews on NUH gynaes. Thanks, and congrats to you, too! I only had one, so worried about it since scan is still many days away... I'm turning into a basket case worrying about this!

I just returned fm Taiwan last week... work trip... and I drank lots of beer :S But tested positive after I came back to Singapore, so travelling should be fine, as long as mummy feels OK.
During my first pregnancy, I also went to Japan when I was 11 weeks... Was having MS before that, but the cold weather and relaxed mood really helped to alleviate it. When I came back to Singapore, all was good

I'm still in that stage whereby I check constantly on the pantyliner whenever I feel some discharge to make sure it's clear (neurotic I know)...I vomit since morning and stops awhile and continue again till night.

Try lemon honey, or orange juice. Helps me a lot. I ate every mouth of porridge followed by fresh orange juice else cannot swallow.

so happy for u @littledotty!! to me, once can see baby's hb, it's more or less settled liao. can enjoy the rest of the 1st trimester with much less anxiety . me waiting till next week for my turn. sometimes like time passes too slow…

Hi snowyee, yes I'm currently seeing Prof Wong in NUH as I'm an IVF mtb
But Prof won't be seeing me after 12 weeks so got to find a good gynae. I've heard of Dr Mary too, good reviews but very busy. And NUH packages start at 22 weeks & only include 2 scans at 22 & 32 weeks so I'm kinda worried. I've made an appointment to see Dr Benjamin Tham too at about 7-8 weeks haha! mapleleafy

Lol I just checked again 15 mins ago... so paranoid! I agree, once see sac & hear heartbeat then feel a bit more secured, my scan is 2 weeks later OMG!

Not for me. Could be unrelated to pregnancy? Maybe go see a doc or ask ur gynae? Are u taking new medication or change in diet?
I stop eating those fry food , start to drink soya and milk .. I suspect maybe due to milk .. Cause since young i cant drink too much milk ..will stop drinking from today and see how ..
But i read some webby they said 1st trim diarrohea is normal.. So i am confuse

I ran to the toilet 6x on Wednesday, almost everyday 2-4x... in fact, my only symptoms are flu (just stuffy nose & nothing else) & diarrhoea. According to my doc, alot of women will constipate & some will have diarrhoea, as long as no fever & vomiting (definitely no blood & cramps too) then it's normal. Can take charcoal pills but so far I didn't take any.
lotsahugz - yes. next wed my 1st appt. if my calculation is right, i shd be wk 7 by then. cos i know, if go too early might not see/hear anything. wk 7 shd be a more fruitful appt

Congrats to you! So co-incidence we'll be visiting the same Gynae. This is my no. 2. My no. 1 was by another Gynae, and it was quite a bad experience. Dr Tho was recommended by one of the mummy from The forum and heard his reviews quite gd as he's a responsible Gynae plus it's near my house cos I staying Jurong area. So u ar staying in the west side?
