Mooncakes 2024: 36 Extra-Ordinary Orb-tions this Mid-Autumn Festival
Year after year, talented pastry chefs keep coming up with innovative flavours to surprise our taste buds. Yet many of us still prefer the traditional classics, evidence that ‘ordinary’ isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Yet some unique creations do hit the spot, but we wouldn’t know till we tried. To help you decide, we spotlight 2024’s most ‘extra-ordinary’ — the delightfully ordinary, as well as deliciously extra — mooncakes under the full moon.
P.S. The 15th day of the 8th lunar month, a.k.a. the Mid-Autumn Festival, falls on 17 September this year. But mooncake sales are already well underway, so do put in your orders before all the best ones sell out!
