Pregnancy Kit tested positive

Hi,

Am new here, would like some advise. Me & wife bought 2 Clear Blue pregnancy kit last night and tested after she missed her period by 3 days. On both occasion there were One very clear blue line & a faint blue line. Reading the box, it seems she is pregnant.

So is she or not pregnant? We'll be seeing a doctor tonight to confirm but am anxious about it that's y I registered myself here n started a thread... Haha..
 


I used the same brand, tested once and got the same results...now I have an adorable 2 month old!
Check with your dr if you aren't certain..

personally, I will make apt with gynae immediately (I got the CB preg/not preg kit with weeks indicator). usually the gynae will prefer to see u on or after wk 6 (wk8 is safer coz u can hear the heartbeat). if it is too early, she/he might only see the sac...and will ask u to come back again in 2 weeks time.
personal preference.

congrats..and I think u can look ard for a gynae or ask for referral. do get one whom u will be comfortable with. And if u are considering breastfeeding, get one that is pro bf....

Hi,

Tried calling a few gynaes whom are are recommended online but al are fully booked for the night... That's y contemplating on visiting a normal clinic. Does it means that normal clinics might not be able to test it more accurate or faster?

normal clinics will use the preg kit to test again, and then after that, they will ask u to go and look for a gynae. Nothing much they can do now
if u go gynae straight away, they will scan and show u the sac. the feeling is different. like seeing ur most beloved for the first time

gynae will give ur wife the MC to cover herself. so you will be the only one who need to clear leave

u can use the online calculator to check on your estimated EDD if you are anxious.

is this ur first kid? coz I saw a bb ger photo.

if yes, do ask ur wife to avoid raw or undercooked food, and salad (unless u prepare the salad coz you need to wash the vege very thoroughly)

Hi,

After seeing your reply, I decided to see a gynae instead. :)

Yes this will be our first child, the bb girl on my avatar I took online.. Haha

Ya heard about that too, raw food is a no-no... Thanks for your advise..
 
I would use Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test with Smart Countdown , now Watsons are running a promotion $19.90 per box.
It even tells you how far along you are. 99% accuracy.
 
I drink 20ml of dom daily when i have my dd1 and ds2, now with bb3, i still drink. It is more like a tonic for the mummies unlike beer which do more harm.
 
There are as much as 27 chinese herbs in DOM.
No idea whether will it crash with the western tablets I'm taking.

I normally took DOM during maternity and when days when I feel lethargic, but not during pregnancy.
 
Congrats! It's so heartwarming to see an excited daddytobe finding out info for the wifey! Haha. I used cb kit too n i tink it's by far e best n most accurate brand. Yes do book a gynae but if u cant wait u can always go to a clinic. I was v unwell (morning sickness which i didnt noe) at week 6 n cos it was a sunday my hubby brought me to ktph emergency lol as it was a sunday so most clinic r closed. Doctor wil do a urine test n sometimes blood test to cfm. Gynae u can see scan! If u need recommendation on gynae pm me :)
 
I believe your wife is indeed preggie.

Best to avoid alcoholic drinks at this time. Do remind her to take her folic acid / prenatal supplements.
