Period not come back after miscarriage/abortion

Hi all,

I hope you don't judge and can give some light to this situation of mine.

I had a miscarriage March 2014, we then got pregnant October 2014.
It came at a time when things got a little rocky.
We decided to have an abortion at 8.5 weeks at Christmas 2014.
I had a mini period in January 2015.

That was all.
It is now December 2015.
I am worried.

Im also worried that I will see a Dr and they will say there is nothing they can do, or worse, that I go to the wrong Dr or ask for the wrong thing.

Can any one shed some light? Similar situations?

Please see a gynae since you didn't have your period for almost 11 months. You probably have some hormonal imbalance that is causing this problem. The gynae will be able to help you find out the cause.

I waited for one at parkway for over an hour past my appointment time (private) I walked out because he kept me waiting so long.

After your procedure in Dec 2014, didnt d gynea asked u 2 go back n c him/ her?

There r actually some gd gyneas arnd.... N there is always a choice of having a male or female doc.

U shld do a check ASAP.

Procedure done on France (wasn't advisable) but dr and nurse, Singapore suggested surgery but I didn't want, my mistake.

I will have a look for a gynea, if anyone has a good one to recommend I am happily listening Thank you ladies

My gynea is a male, so if you are okie wif a male doctor, I find him comfortable.

I totally get the frustration. If you want someone much more reliable, I’d recommend my gynae, Dr Jen Shek Wei. He’s very attentive, professional, and he also handles abortion services safely and discreetly.
