Mei Jie (Nanny Joon Moi) was a god sent to us! Our little one came to us early and we had to get ready a lot of things, as first time parents, we were uncertain to handle a newborn. She was patient enough to guide us from changing diapers to feeding our baby, and how we can calm our baby during her bath time every morning. She was also responsible enough to look after our little one through each day and night without fail to ensure that I get sufficient rest during the confinement period. Mei Jie was very prepared and had a list of items we had to get and also took note of your preferences on the foods we ate as well as our timings for meals.
She took great care of baby, was able to calm her down when she cries uncontrollably and teaching us patiently on baby’s cues and what to look out for when caring for our child. She is also flexible and not a traditionalist on confinement rules.
Her cooking skills definitely made confinement better, she is a good cook and able to cook a variety of dishes and even dessert! She always made sure you have a balanced diet.
Mei Jie always made sure that the baby’s bottles and clothes are always cleaned ready for the next feeding/ bath, it was very assuring to have her doing that for us. She also cleaned up the kitchen after each cooking as well as light chores around the house. We feel very grateful for her during the whole confinement period.
Not forgetting the team at nanny moon as well who was quick to answer queries and arranging Nannies for us during our period of confinement when our little one came early!
