Hi mummies,
My LO is 7 weeks and wakes up between 1hr-2.5hrs tops for feeding whether day or night and it is getting very unpredictable. Each time she wakes up, she takes in between 40ML-70ML depending how long she went down for. I calculated within a 4-5 hour cycle, she drinks a total of 120ML-180ML. She is currently formula fed because my BM is drying, and I am using Frisolac Gold.
Because of the short sleep and feeding intervals, she is unable to take in more than 90ML at a go. Occasionally if she is super hungry, she can drink 120ML and go down for 3hours before next feeding of maybe 30-60ML. On bad days, feeding is hourly!! As a result, she is often tired and cranky cos she cant seem to sleep well!
Is it that Frisolac Gold is not 'heavy' enough to keep her asleep for a longer period of time? I have been having this issue since she hit 5 weeks.. it is super tiring at this point!
Can mummies please recommend a formula that is as gd as frisolac but weighs her stomach down so she doesnt wake up all the time? I was thinking of enfalac.. but idk which powder is too heaty. My baby is super warm most of the time.. and perspires easily too.
