Hi,

I had a miscarriage two weeks back. I lost the sack at 5 weeks.

My gynac put me on mistropol to clear the tissues.

I had a scan this morning to see if all the pregnancy tissues were cleaned out. There is still some bits left and doc asked me to come next month after menses to see if uterus is cleaned.

Meanwhile doc has put me on duphaston (progesterone supplement).

Has anyone experienced the same thing before ? I was pregnant for the first time and this was my first miscarriage, hence a lot of questions.

Hello! May I ask if u were bleeding before u found out abt the miscarriage?

I'm so sorry to hear that. My sister had a miscarriage before, but Dr Jen (we share gynaes) recommended a D&C procedure to ensure that the uterus is emptied. But I think it's cause her pregnancy was farther along than yours. She was late into her first trimester.

Having a miscarriage is really tough, and I do hope you recover physically and emotionally very soon. If it's any consolation, my sis went on to have a baby after her miscarriage, so please don't lose hope.
