Looking for Christian mums for sharing and support

hi all, may I join in this group for support and prayers?
am a mummy to 2 gers and am new to this forum. I'm also a Christian and am currently attending Trinity Christian Centre.
I'm currently expecting my 3rd child but due to some reasons, my gynae still can't detect any heartbeat (I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant). Am praying very hard.
Thank God I found this support group.

I am a 5-month old mummy to my 1st born girl - Faith. Currently worshipping and attending City Harvest with my husband and bb Faith.

Am working full-time but thank God for a wonderful boss who understands the woes of a TBF mum. He allows me to work from home two days every week, so that I can spend more time with bb Faith.

Our usual activities with Faith are singing grace while latching her on, singing children's bible songs, reading bible stories, bringing her to church and praying with her.

Of course, we would always tell her that Jesus loves her, and that Daddy and Mummy loves her too.

Hello Everyone!

I'm posting for a friend who is starting a bilingual homebased christian playgroup in the East.

She has a degree in childhood education and is currently a teacher in a reknowned playschool.

However, to spend more time with her 2 children and her husband (who is a pastor), she is now considering teaching from home with another christian friend of hers.

She's looking at a daily 1.5 hours program incorporating both English and Mandarin (45 minutes for English and 45 minutes for Mandarin) for kids 2 years and above. She is also seeking to keep the intake low by taking in only 3-4 kids for the sessions.

Hi, i am a Catholic so wonder if i am welcome here. I am 29 this year with a 11 months old son. My hubby is not christian, but he will follow me to church on some occasions. We have agreed to let my son be baptized when he turns one, but i dunno how to do it cos my parents in laws are not christians and i think they will not be happy if i do this. I bought a cloth prayer and another cloth bible for my son since he was born. And i will be bringing him to church every sunday once he is baptized.

it's been a while since I last came in here.

Come July, I will be a SAHM due to some issues at home. but will also be working as a baby-sitter, so as not to dry up my bank account throughly.

My girl is now 14 months old and she enjoys church very much. Hahaha, actually not just her, my maid too.

With more time on hand now, any christian SAHMs will like to meet up?
 
hey rhea! i stumbled onto this thread.. am from NCC and have a 7 1/2 month gal. still breastfeeding. my company is very nice, allow me to express milk in a recently vacated room. what i would do is pump and store in the fridge. but i only sterilise the funnel using hot water. otherwise u can bring 2 funnels. i used to pump 3 times, b4 lunch, after lunch and evening. now i only does lunchtime and evening.

Hi happyfeet, hope you're still reading this thread.. I'm a mom of 3 YO too and I understand what you mean about not willing to pray. They do understand and listen. Pray with him but don't force. They learn from example. I personally recommend you to get BOZ dvds which ends with a prayer at the end. Very good. Buy christian dvds and let him watch before he goes to sleep. It will build up his interest. Pls PM if you're keen to chat more with me as I do not check threads.

What's the diagnosis of your kid? Is your child going thru eipic? My eldest is also a special needs child, he has ASD and currently attending rainbow. How are you coping?

I'm new to this forum. I'm a SAHM with a 2.5yr old son. I'm looking for a Christian playgroup for him to enlarge his social circle beyond the immediate family members, and also perhaps get used to the idea of attending school, is there any that you'll recommend?

I am pretty new to this thread too. My eldest girl is coming 3 yrs next month and I've started her in pre nursery this Jan in a church kindergarten. She's also attending Sunday school, which is a good starting ground for them to socialise
