IVF with KKH (Tan HH)

Hi Divineparadise, I remember the nurse told me that once we go for Ivf is counted as private patient. I was a subsidise patient when doing all blood test but when go Ivf the nurse said can choose the doctor. I asked what the difference they said only consultation charge slightly more ex. Maybe you can check with the nurse.

I am on day 14 of lucrin. Also waiting for AF to report and nowhere in sight. Heehee, we might be cycling buddies. Hahaha!
 
Currently waiting for AF to come and proceed to FET Dr Tan HH.
Only hubby and my helper knows... have also asked my mum not to come to my place as she will add more stress and high blood pressure in me.
This will be my final fertility treatment hopefully can succeed as I am already 38 this year.
 
Hello fella sisters under Dr Tan HH, I am also waiting for my AF to come sometimes next week to start my first IVF cycle! Looking forward! :)
 
Hi Sarah, you jab every morning. Usually for the first week - one jab a day. For the second week - two jabs a day. Depending on the growth of the follicles, you possibly will jab for about 10-14 days. Then you go to the hospital for the trigger jab. Egg retrieval would be 36hrs later. Egg transfer usually afters 2-3 days after your egg retrieval and your HL will start.

I still have embryos in kkh and Dr Tan HH is my doctor if I ET here at KKH. Previously Dr SF Loh did my fresh.

Sparkles, you are right - me also a ex-SF loh case and transferred to THH. If all things go well, i might be able to start stimulation tomorrow. *Fingers crossed*
 
Hi everyone. Im under Dr Tan. Gg for 1st iui in Apr. Can i know anyone successful pregnant by iui under Dr Tan. I went to see him before and saw that the pinboard behind him has alot of cards and photos of babies. And alot of twins.... I guess all successfully under him. But wonder it is by iui or ivf...

Hi kitkats! Oh my! What a coincidence! My full AF reported yesterday afternoon. Just started my stimulation jabs this morning as well -- 10units of Lucrin + 200units of Puregon + 5units of Saizen

Haiz, so many jabs!!!
 
I think menopur is to stimulate the follicles & orgalutan is to prevent ovulation.

Anyone taking dhea before ivf?
I want to know if I should stop taking it as I m on stimulation jab now. Forgot to ask nurse.
 
Sparkle, I heard after dnc , af will come 4-6 weeks time. N the first af is not really ur mense.

Rest well n eat more 'bu'

Btw, is it ok to left abit of medication(menopur n ganirelix) at the tip of the syringe?
 
I can't get all the medication(liquid) out of the syringe. Still left abit inside syringe after I push all the way to the end. But after I took it out from my tummy I still see abit at the syringe top
 
Me still dreading the jabs and will always break out in cold sweat. I think it is normal to have an itsy bitsy left. As long as it is pushed to the end, it should be ok.

Somehow I am having a lot of problems with the saizen. So troublesome. Hahaha!

Yea tats true , a bit on the syringe
I usually leave the needle inside for 20 seconds instead of 5 seconds
 
Yah, there is a solvent to add into a bottle of powder. Each bottle provides 2 jabs of 5 units. But dunno why I always seems to drip a lot out. So by the 2nd day, there is not enough medicine :(
 
I also took very long to draw the medication, always left abit there too. I wonder if I inject the right dosage. Haha. Hack care Liao . Just cut my fingers after trying to catch the dropping "open" solvent. What a day to start with.. :confused: Haha
 
Went down on Friday and did a scan. this month's cycle was cancelled cos ovulated too late even though the period cycle is 26 days....
Tot can start this month... How disappointing :(

R u doing ivf cycle? Y was it depend on ur previous cycle ovulation date?
 
Need to take norethisterone to suppress for 3 weeks first. Then wait for AF to come back before I can call them again... Hope no more surprises :(
 
Sparkles, today d7 only. Has about 10 follicles but uneven size. Only 2 eggs at 16 but review dr said ER probably sat. I find it fast too..
 
Actually I am a bit worried scan could be a little late. Cos the last time (short cycle), I only stimulated 9 days. (5 days of 150 units puregon and 4 days of 200 units puregon).

This time, they went straight into 200 units puregon. Wondering if the dose is too much for me. I did ask the nurse, she says 200 units very small dose already. OK lor, kkh should know best since they are the expert.
 
Circle, don't worry. As long as u r on lucrin, u won't ovulate until hcg jab is given. The puregon dosage is to yield more eggs only.....
 
Thanks Kitkats! I was even dreading that I have to add another injection - ganirelix into my daily jabs.

Haiz, more puregon I also scared. Last time I retrieved 23 eggs (but 1 good quality fertilised egg) kanna ohss. This time dunno how bad it is gonna be.

But no matter what, I still hope I got more good quality fertilised eggs.
 
Kitkats, feeling ok. Occasional tummy got pulling sensation if use too much strength. Poss cos it had been injured with so many holes. Hahaha!

baby sparkles, hope dr thh can advise you when to start cycling again. your transfer previously was all blastocyst?
