Im doing good. Staying positive. Don't want to affect my hubby as he is also affected by the loss. We had a chat when i came back home and i realised he have alot of stress due to this incident. Im only upset cos loss of bb. But when i was warded with bb still inside me, he have to worry for both of us. Esp each time when i said i want to pee, the process took quite awhile with quite a no of nurses attended to me plus he saw the nurse took the bedpan away and he saw pool of blood, it really makes his heart stopped.

I do feel sad when i think of my loss bb. But im not showing infront of hubby. I rather let him thought im not so affected by this.

Nope, i did not take any confinement meals. Only chicken essence and dom. Next week mil will prepare some tonics for me.

Now i only hope to recover soon and then try again. This is a harsh lesson. Next one we will know what to take note.

Meilingg, glad to hear from u. Very glad tt u staying strong n positive & being the strong pillar to ur dh.

Did u go for review with external gynae on ur case? If yes, did the dr comment on the cause?

Mb add in some ginger in ur meals tt will helps to getting rid of the "wind" from ur body. Drink red dates longan drink instead of plain water too. Avoid cooling food n cold items.

Dun let the fan blow directly at u. If u can take the heat, better to wear long sleeved clothes n socks to avoid contact on the cold tiles.

Give ur body sometime to recover mb see tcm if it helps to tune the body back.

Come in often to talk to us k.

Jiayou meiling! I'm glad u r staying positive and not giving up. We can cry our hearts out but guys have to put a strong front for us. So u and your hubby have to be brave and get back on your feet again.

Yup yup at home can be quite bored. Not like during the 2ww where i still got eggs to look forward and talk to.

I only wear a tee and shorts at home, but i do wear a bedroom slippers to walk around and a slippers to wear in the bathroom.

Yup, i did drink red dates the past few days except today cos i dunno if everyday drink will it be too heaty? Or is it ok?

Hubby like not very keen in tcm. We also dunno which is good.

Anyway he made an appointment with a gynae at mount elizabeth next month. Then suddenly his buddy intro him another gynae at tmc.
 
Meilingg, look forward to ur recovery n start of new cycle. So u have transferred out of kkh? What did ur blood test results reflect?
Mb drink 1 cup a day for the next 2 wks to help ur body recover well. It keeps ur body well n Red dates are good for blood.

Sumiko83, how's ur first week at sch? Busy busy?
 
I thought they took 3 tubes to my blood to check if i got infection or what. End up before discharge, they told me they only check for blood count. So conclusion, they are unable to tell me what happened and why.

They only gave me my discharge summary. Wait for the next gynae to get my case file from kkh bah.
 
Huh 3 tubes just to check blood count? Was the type of blood test taken stated in ur bill? Did u request to retrieve your case file so can bring to mt E gynae for review?

Did u see dr lau today?

Meilingg I'm sorry to ask this question. Did the attending dr suggested to take some skin sample or something to check if it could be the baby?
Cos that time Dr lau suggested me to do that. Although the result came back negative that mc was not due to bb but was due to uti.
 
As for the red dates drink, I really follow the mini confinement n drink everyday until 20 over days. Cos after mc u really need to bu back do that ur body can recover n prepare for the next one.
Do u still have frozen embryo?

Ya loh. I also got a shock.

I haven got the bill. They only gave me the estimate one. I never go and see if it is inside. Shall go and check tml morning.

The gynae in mount e told my hubby they can retrieve the case file on their side. I guess they will contact kkh. Cos she only ask my hubby to bring me for the appointment so she can straightaway assess me.

Nope. That day before discharge, nurse said the earliest to see dr lau is 8th jul. Hubby fed up of the service by the docs so he said give it a miss.

Hubby did emailed dr lau, he was at germany. Bad timing i guess.

No loh. Thats why i felt it was a bad timing. Those docs from 24hr clinic and going round docs at my ward, all don't seems to be specialize in this.

I only left 1 blast. But i thought of trying natural again and see what the next gynae advise. Hope hubby's sperm count have get better. If not maybe i try the next ivf end of the year. I have been taken so many hospitalization and annual leave this year cos of ivf etc. so the only month that will not affect my work will be dec i guess.

Wow that's good! Very personal svc provided so u dun have to go through the hassle.

Oic yap dr lau oversea trip this time really very bad timing. Rem u mentioned abt his trip after ur last june review. Seems like the drs at clinic D taking turns to go on leave. ..

So the attending dr didn't do anything to find out the cause? Horrible.. Watever it is remember to bu hao shen zi now. Very impt.
good to know that u still have blastocyst. At least putting in blastocyst not stressful as compared to ivf fresh cycle. But of can try natural will even be better.
 
Meilingg, yap now recuperate ur body well n then try for natural. Shld be a fertile period for u track ur ovulation mb 2-3 mths later.

Mb advise ur hubby to eat well, rest early m stop smoking if he does. So to prepare n strengthen his army when u try naturally then.

Ya loh. I also quite shocked why never check the cause of it. Ask them they say they dunno. Say the right person to advise me is dr jerry since dr lau not ard. But prob is dr jerry dunno abt me in the first place, i also dunno how he judge and assess the whole situation plus i didnt even saw him. So no point seeing him then.

Yup i hope can natural will be good. Less complication.

And i just received an sms reminder from kkh. They reminded me of my detailed scan on next thurs -.-

Yup i gonna ask him to smoke lesser liao. As for sleep early, abit hard cos he works until quite late, 10plus or later. By time he bath etc, 12plus already. But i hope he can lose weight. Too big size liao...

Mb encourage him to start light exercise n smoke less for the wellness of himself n sperm quality. It does affect.
Oic so long have 7 hrs of sleep shld be ok. Eat less fried n oily food. Encourage him to eat walnuts n brazil nuts too instead of chips

Need to call to cancel the scan?

Ask hubby to wear loose loose shorts at home. Too hot not good for the balls. N best stop smoking to improve the army. Some said boys dun drink too much soya milk as it will affect fertility. But how true I'm not sure.
 
Game over I am 9 day past from my 2 day of egg tf, this morning I did a home pregnancy test was negative and now it's brown spotting, does it means my beanies had decided to leave me and that's y the brown spotting?? Need advise urgently, I just dropped an email to doc lau, he said if it's like AF most slightly not pregnant, very sad just cries with swollen eyes :(

When I was under IVF, I was scheduled to do blood test after a certain no. of days from the insertion day, so are you scheduled for one? Home pregnancy kit is too early to use now.

If it is brown spotting and not like your normal menses, then there is still hope. Becos it could also mean that your egg is now attached to the lining. You can try to google to find out more.

Hi Bunny mama, it's only brown spotting not AF, my blood test is on 14 July 14

@doraemon21.... Is too early to use HPT to detect... You can wait till 11days onwards...
Brown Spotting most likely is implantation.. As long there is no AF mean you still have chance... So don't think so much think positive.... Continue your insert med and rest well...
 
Doraemon21, ur bt is still so far away. Actually not advisable to test so early as most likely u will be disappointed by the results. So long is not AF type of flow u are still in. Just be patient n wait for ur bt k.

Ok praying hard now, it's still spotting when I went toilet just now n changed to pink colour like discharge, kind of disappointed :(, DH saw me crying painfully he was very upset too, nevertheless I will keep on fighting ok I will wait for another 2 days to use the HPT again hopefully is a positive result......The rest all pls jia you jia you.....fight till the end.....

Pupnui, ok will continue the insert, am trying very hard to think positive telling myself that is implantation bleeding n not my AF. ....
 
Forget abt the HPT. Just rest and continue to do the insert.
You can also try to raise your buttock by placing a pillow underneath it. It works for me :)

Need advises, it is advisable to continue 2nd round of ivf right after one month if the June cycle fails? Meaning start the cycle all over again in July, my 1st ivf was in June n seems like AF coming, come n go so I also don't know it is the actual menses???

Have gone to BT this morning ard 815am... Collected my Frozen Embryos Report... Was inform 1 cannot make it so left 4... The 2 insert in me is grade 4.... Now I'm back to work...
Have 4 frozen Embryos..
1 Grade 5
2 Grade 4
1 Grade 3

Have received call from KKIVF ard 955am asked me to go and collect medicines...

Normally doctor will ask you to wait for 2 AF then start for new one... You don't have any frozen?
 
Congrats pupnui. You can start to drink your home made chicken essence, once a week. This essence is suppose to strengthen foetus heartbeat and warm your body. No cold drink. Do google to find out more info.

I used to buy fresh kampong chicken from wet market. Ask the seller to remove the skin, head, neck, backside and leg. As to how to cook, you can google "how to make chicken essence at home".

You can choose how many times you want to drink it. I drink about 4x in my first trimester as this soup is rather heaty. Do drink water and continue to take folic acid.

Have I need to go and collect on my actual BT on the 14 july 14, Doc Lau replied saying I can start on Aug, this AF playing a fool, come n go come n go, should wait n monitor till tmr and c how ; (

Is best to go and have you BT on 14 july cos this will be more accurate...
So now still spotting or a lot flow?
