Adenomyosis and IVF

Hi everyone. I have adenomyosis and have started on our IVF journey. We just froze our embryos 2 weeks ago. I will be seeing Dr soon to discuss our plans - but I need to remove a polyp before any transfer.

I'm really concerned about my adenomyosis condition. I suspect this caused my chemicals before. Does anyone have experience to share? Is there medication or different protocol for ivf? I can only find info on reddit and most users seem to be from the US. What I've read is that Lupron Depot is usually used for a few months before transfer for people with adenomyosis. Do we do something similar here?
hoping to find more info here

Hi please pm me.

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with adenomyosis as well, and Stage 2-3 endometriosis. I just had laparoscopy done to remove my endo, and during the procedure, my doc found that I have severely blocked fallopian tubes which were then removed. She also removed my polyp to prep me for future IVF.

I'm interested to know more about Lupron Depot. Let me know if you prefer that I pm you. :)

With IVF being my only option for now, the doc I was seeing suggested that I have my hormones suppressed from 3 months before embryo transfer. This is to reduce inflammation in the pelvic area that can be caused by adenomyosis; to make the uterus healthier/prepared for implantation so to speak.. still not 100% guaranteed implantation but increased chances. I have very low AMH and am 35 this year; clock is ticking and I'm researching for which doctor to go with.

A little bit of background:
I did IVF at SGH in Oct'23 (fresh transfer) but it ended up with early miscarriage. In Dec'23, managed to conceive naturally but also ended up in early miscarriage. From then on, never got pregnant and found out I have endo & adeno.
