@mesara, I'm with you. I'm only 3dp5dt and the wait is already killing me. Been distracting myself with work and cross stitching.

I held it a lot better first time round maybe cuz I had lower expectations. But cuz I tasted success once, I'm really hoping this last embryo of mine will stick so my boy will have a sibling.
 
Thanks Iwantahealthybaby and princess. U r always so assuring. I dont wanna get my hopes too high. The fall from greater heights will hurt more. Just neutral assume pregnant until proven otherwise. Cannot bd this period hor. Hubby sometimes strave haha.

Little things in life. Am now 7dpt. Dont know wat to expect also. I started working this Monday. Back full swing liao. At home means will go crazy le. I spent er et week at home coz realky cannot make it. Suoer bloated crampy. Life is getting Back to norm now. I really pray hard for bfp and pray for u the same. Dont worry take it easy. Wasbyrs a blastocyst. Mine a good and a satis grade. I got one more satis grade frozen. Just need to pray very very hard for god to implant the fruit in our womb.
 
Princess is uour scan this sat. Am soo happy and excited for u. Hope4bb had her scan on new yr eve. So happy she cud hear heartbeat. Best new year present.
 
Mine is next wed. Two days apart only. Hope we will be able to double babydusts. I might test on 9dpt as I read implantation should be by day 8.

Yours natural fet right? Blastocyst??
 
I just receive my billing from kkh. A lot of pages. A lot of figures. Abit confused! I think should be no need top up! Anyway our 1st year embryo freezing Isit foc? I didn see that in the billing.
 
@iwantahealthybaby I had to pay for freezing and storage from day 1 at mount E. Shouldn't be too different at kkh?

@mesara yes mine is a natural FET day 5 cavitating blastocyst. That means the cells are starting to develop the centre cavity that is characteristic of a full grown blast. Slow it's considered slower than average growing embryo. So hoping it has grown & is implanting now ...

Being the pee addict I became when testing for LH surge, I did a HPT earlier. Of cuz it's a BFN but it was more for me to confirm the HCG shot I took last Monday is out of my system. I will try to endure till Sun (or maybe Sat) before I try again.
 
Iwantahealthybb, my menses came ytd on 1 jan. So will start my medicated fet. Tks for the well wishes!
No one picked up my call. So I called KKH hotline and left a message. A lady called me at 5.10pm and conveyed my msg to ivf centre. The nurse from ivf centre called and make appt for me to go on 13 jan for lining scan. Anyone around the same time?
 
Hi, I saw some posts that KKH gives dhea. Under what conditions then will the doc prescribe dhea?

Afte resting for 4 mths, gonna start my 2nd fresh next mth.

Dr will prescribe if u have low reserve. You need to take at least 4 mths to be effective.

The charges should be in one of the pages.... really need to read thru... I gave up and just pass the whole stack to my hubby...:p
 
Adnil it's really one stack of INVOICES from them. So confusing with the names and procedures. Tomorrow I see clearly again and call the hospital just to make sure I don't need to pay excess in cash. How are you feeling today? Seen your gynae yet?

I'm feeling ok. Visited my doc last Friday and was given HL to rest at home for a month. Hubby prefers this arrangement as well but pretty bored at home. But then, as long as its for the sake of baby no choice....
 
Iwantahealthybb, I was glad my af reported on time. But also had thots abt postponing till later mths as the 2ww clashes with our annual trip to visit my in laws in msia during cny. Will be too tiring to handle my boy w/o my mum's help. Spoke to my mil n she said ivf more impt than visiting them during cny. Said she was eager to meet her grand daughter. Lol. So will proceed. Hope u can start yr cycle soon! When is yr appt w dr?
 
Pumpkin pie, that's so sweet of your mil. Glad you don't need to worry about the road trip since she already given you permission to rest well. I am trying to call the hospital to bring forward the aptm to next week but the nurse say will check and call me back. Hopefully they will call me today. The thing is I am still having af now (the 1st af after my fresh cycle fail) so wondering if even if I bring forward aptm will doc ask me to wait another af before proceeding fet.

Ladies those who fail the cycle, when you had your 1st menses is there any difference? Like the flow, quantity or maybe even color! Don't know is it I sensitive. Will the bleeding last more days?

i am still waiting for my turn for FET. hopefully my af is on time then i will start FET this month.
 
The little things in life how r u feeling now. Are u working or on hl. I took leave today as morning cramps v sharp. Boobs soreness seems to be subsiding. Used to be like rock during stim n early this week but now soft liao. Honestly worrying.

Hi Domo, fresh transfer simply means that after egg retrieval, the eggs will be fertilised and transferred between 2-5d depending on the number of eggs retrieved. If there are any extras, they will be freezed. If the fresh cycle fails, then the frozen eggs are used for transfer (if any) for the next cycle
 
Thanks adnil. Hope resting well and baby is doing fine. When is due date. I dont think am unwell but its just a weird feeling or symptom inside me. Anyway am 5 days away from bt. Holding on.

I'm good mesara :) Baby is due mid march but might be early... Rest if you need to and hang in there I'm sure things will turn out good!!! Lots of positive thoughts ya!!
 
What are the difference in terms of steps btw fresh and frozen transfer?

Any injection requires on butt for frozen transfer?

Any ladies conceive naturally after been thru ivf??

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. I was on HL for Mon & Tue and back to work yesterday. Getting back to work keeps my mind off what's happening in my womb. I did feel pulling and twinges when I was resting at home & concentrating on my womb (hahaha). My boobs are normal though. Didn't notice much about it. But then I only weaned 3 months ago and my boobs have not been the same as before.

You asked about pain around left ovary to belly button. I had pain around my right ovary. That is cuz my dominant follicle is in my right ovary and I had a trigger shot to stimulate ovulation. Perhaps something similar for you? I wouldn't bother about it unless it's exceedingly painful.

From your note, I guess your first child was conceived naturally?
How old is your child now?

Domo, my first was also via ivf.
He's 18 mths now. Hence wanna do a frozen cycle asap as I lao kok kok already. Lol
I heard from nurse no injection required for frozen cycle.

Btw, it was easy to get thru kkivf today. Guess very few nurse around on 2 jan
 
@domo, whether you need injection or not depends on your cycle. I'm not sure about medicated FET. I opted for natural so had a butt injection to trigger ovulation when LH surged. From day of transfer, I have daily butt progesterone injections in addition to all the oral meds. Alternate left and right cheek each day but my hubby very poor skill. So both side of my butt is painful now. Have to continue jabbing till next Friday when I go blood test *faint*

Edit: my gynae ordered the progesterone jabs cuz my progesterone levels on day of transfer was borderline ok.
 
Domo, I was referring to my medicated fet in my earlier post.
Only need to take oral meds daily from D4-12. Then do ultrasound scan on D13.
Heard no need to hv injection.
Sisters who hv done medicated fet can share more.
Natural fet will be as elt has shared.

Elt, u poor thing. Daily butt injections is no joke.
Hope u get positive results nx wk!
 
8dp3dt is 11dpo. A little early if it's a singleton pregnancy. But if you think you might have twins (or more), there'll be more HCG in your urine for the HPT to detect. And of cuz, if you think you might be emotionally affected if it's a BFN, wait out another 2-3 days. In my first pregnancy (singleton), I got BFNs until BFP on 13dpo. Good luck!

I transferred one embryo and it's 10dpo for me today. The HPT came back negative so I'm holding out hope its too early to test.

I'm also not young anymore and my child is 9. The TCC road is long for me. It's hard to accept secondary infertility as I had experienced natural. Sigh. Ivf is our last resort.
