Tomorrow by this time my bt over liao. Feeling nothing much actually. Same sore boobs on n off cramps. Hubby passed me his flu bug and have been sneezing since morning.

Am prepared both for good n bad tomorrow. If bfp super duper happy. Else will rest for 3 months do acu n try naturally. Cannot then fet with my precious snowbaby. Life goes on. Its 12p3dt and poas still nil sign...
 
one more day for the positive to appear mesara, you seen sistas mentioning poas neg but BT positive. continue with your medicine/inserts till after BT see what doc say.

hi mbbhopeful, you did your endo scratch yet? will you be doing your fet this feb? i am doing my fet this feb too, hopefully my menses wont go hay wire will come 28-30days later. doc didn suggest anything for me, didn mention about endo scratch or what. by the way how would you all know if you all need endo scratch? doc say previously my health records show unexplain fertility so he say the tests back then show all ok so shouldn need to do anything. but i am curious, cannot be 1 year ago healthy then midway got some "problems'' like maybe lining or anything etc...of course i wouldn want that to happen but i just want my fet to succeed to try to prepare my body for the best..same doc didn mention why the fresh cycle fail.
 
When u say faint is it like shadow. Coz when I looked at my yest poas there was a shadow kind of line. Must really strain n see. Wonder if valid.

Iwantahealthybaby thanks. Hope for best. I did endo scratch too for this cycle. Think princess who bfp recently did too. I was wondering is tat y no spotting.
 
Same here pink doll. Yest did morning. Today 12p3dt morning and noon no line :(. Prepared for worst while praying for best. U hold on n be positive too. Miracles do happen.
 
Iwantahealthybaby, yup I'll be doing my 2nd fresh cycle in Feb. Maybe mid feb. Ur af will be haywire after the fresh cycle cos of the meds. Think mine was 5 days late. This time after fet it's 3 days earlier. Now confused abt my cycle liao.

How did the doc conclude it's unexplained fertility? My doc just said maybe implantation prob cos embryos look good. I really hope endo scratch can be the answer for me.
 
Btw do u gals do bbt charting? I just started a few weeks ago and realised mine is on the low side. Hmm. Wondering if this can be a prob

unexplain fertility means he did a check on both me and hubbs both is normal. sperm count ok. no block tubes, i m ovulating, menses regular, no cyst. fsh level also normal etc. can you imagine all normal yet iui twice and 1 ivf still no positive results. thats why i am trying to eliminate all the possibilities. dr didn even suggest endo scratch but he did mention if this fet fail then we sit and discuss what else to do. the thing is i dont want it to fail again leh. i dont know isit their practice in kkh that you must fail 2 cycle ivf before they suggest endo scratch. like you say my blasts seems to be of ok quality too so the other reason it didn implant or maybe it did but fail could be my implantation problem. i am trying to make all medium good for my next fet.

so you still with dr sadhana? are you being referred by polyclinic or you find doc in kkh yourself?

I'm like u, unexplained fertility. Though I tend to think my body constitution is not strong all along and maybe cold uterus. But in western science they don't detect all these. My 1st 2 fet, Drs were so confident sure can make it, cos lining and embryos were all good and everything went very smoothly. Dr loh did my first fet (medicated) and Dr Paul teng did my 2nd fet (natural). The support under Dr teng was very good but still fail. It was then Dr tseng said I should do an endo biopsy to see what's going on inside. And at the same time he said do endo scratch. These were very new to me so I researched a lot abt it. Found out it increases implantation by almost 50%. So i would say, if kkh doesn't wanna do it for u, pls go private clinic to do the endo scratch. Think my endo biopsy plus lab work and scratching cost $300+. Its good i did it cos biopsy results came back diagnosing me with a weakly regressed endometrium. Ie. Lazy and needs stimulation. We are not guinea pigs for kkh to do trial and error and follow standard protocol for everyone as we are all different and drs should offer solutions and listen to patients and help us succeed with the minimum tries.

princess, thanks for your info, so endo scratch and biopsy is two different thing? can i just do a scratch and not biopsy? can i just walk in to any private clinic and say i want to do a endo scratch? i scare they want to do all checks again. wonder which clinic should i go then.
 
I think all private clinics do endo scratch. Yes biopsy and scratch are 2 different things. Just make app and say u wanna do endo scratch. You don't need any prerequisites to do this procedure. U can try Dr Paul tseng or Dr Eunice Chua at TLC gynaecoogy practice at Thomson medical center. I did on CD4 of the transfer cycle. You can also do on CD21 of the previous cycle. Some do twice before a transfer. But do not do the scratch just few days before ET as research says it lowers implantation rates. At least 2 weeks in between scratch and et.

so before my transfer date i should have get myself scratched at least 2weeks? means if everything goes well, i should get myself scratch then follow by menses then 1 week plus after menses the schedule transfer? as i am going to do a fet so must wait for my menses to come then they can schedule around when then can do the transfer. and this round i dont know if my menses will come on time or delay.
 
Mesara sorry to hear that, take a break and come back stronger.

Princess do you have cold hand and feet? I am trying to find if any of sister can still get bfp despite cold hand and feet.

*hugz* dear. Don't bottle up ur feelings. Have a good let out then prepare urself for the next battle. Keep the faith going. GOD never fails us when we call out desperately to Him.

If your af haven't come, u can plan to scratch twice, on CD4/5 and CD21. Then when next af comes, your lining will regrow and endo white bld cells will have enough time to be stimulated.

Yup I have cold hands and feet. And my uterus always feel cold too. In fact I always feel cold. I soak my feet in hot water every night before I sleep. And I also wear tummy warmer. Plus the red date tea I drink day during cycle helped my body warm up and probably increased blood circulation. Of coz the acu sessions helped a lot too.
 
Much less. Cos I do acu very regularly. Plus I wear socks all the time too. I tend to feel them constantly. If my uterus feels cold, I will quickly walk ard more to increase circulation. But I notice 1 wk after fet, my body starts to feel warm. Till now I also feel warm, so much that I thought I had a fever. But when I take my temp it is normal.

Tomorrow is my er day, worry if my womb is not ready as I still have cold feet and hand though I also di acu regularly. I checked my family member whi pregnant naturally and they all said they dont have cold feet and hand.
 
princess i am abit blur on my menses date already. my bt was dec 31 and remember i stop the inserts 2 days before my BT and the spotting start to come on eve of BT, till today when i wipe still got a bit a bit of red. just a little bit. so i dont know this one consider menses too right? means from 1st day spotting to full flow to last few days spotting its been a good 10days. ooo actually quite long already i didn realise. so lets say today my whole red episode will stop when can i go to do the scratch? if nothing goes haywire my next af should be end of this month the cny period.

i didn fall preg yet and i always feel myself easily cold. i am very afraid of cold. but not to worry much i think once you get preg your bbt will rise and you will start to feel warm. maybe you can try to wear socks at home and keep yourself properly dress up to keep body warm.

I don't have high hope as this morning HPT still shows neg. As least with HPT it gives me time to prepare myself for the worse. I had a baby from my first ivf cycle. This round is FET. No more snow babies. I'm preparing to tiao my body and start fresh cycle in May / June. Hope we can be cycle buddies again. This journey can be very lonely at times.

By the way, do all of your tell your company about your ivf? I don't know what reason to give for taking so many hospitalization leave.

Any sisters on fresh ivf cycle long protocol? Can share your medication / injection timeline from menses to ET please? Does it take more than a month end to end?

hi pinkdoll, i am on long protocol fresh cycle. for long protocol, you need to start to injection lucrin at D21 for 2 weeks. after that the rest steps are same as short protocol. i just finished 2 weeks injection. hope this info. can help you.

I called KKIVF 2 days ago, and confirmed to do natural FET this round
Hoping to hear good news during CNY, but yet worry that i am having too high the expectation, will not be able to take it if negative result. Especially no more snowbaby after this round, need to start from fresh cycle again.

Nope, i only informed my boss and the buddy who cover during my 2WW.

Hi Vivian, thanks!! D21 means day 21 after AF starts is it? Short protocol is just Puregon jab for around 9-12 days depending on follicles growth is it? That means from lucrin till ET about 1 month? I have forgotten the process entirely. Trying to recap now.

when I went to see dr zou 1 week after my 2nd fet (1st time - I know quite late to do acu), she felt my pulse and said my womb is too cold and cold womb will affect implantation. Thus I think she sorta knew it wont be successful. lucky AF came fast and I went to see her straight away and acu twice a week, nearly ovulation I acu consecutively 3 days, before et and immediately after fet I went straight to acu. thereafter did another 3 more times. I just know that whole cycle I almost acu everyday till im quite addicted. haha. and till dr zou told me no need to acu anymore, just stay home and rest.

after my failed 2nd fet, my AF reported very heavily. It was very heavy for first 3 days, which is very unusual. I think you should wait till you get a full flow that can soak a pad through. else check with your dr if you can take a medicine to induce menses to come. spotting should not be AF from what I know. If its not AF, your lining will be very thick still. A scan can tell. When I did scratching on CD4, I was still spotting (af going to end), and my endo lining was only 2.8mm. That is in line with the end of AF. You did fresh, maybe takes longer to shed.

so if i want to do scratch now before my next menses i can only calculate d21 then do since d4 already past. means soon after scratch my menses should come again say 7-8days later. am i right?
 
pinkdoll, ya i did long protocol. it stretch to close to 6weeks. once menses reported for that month on day 21 you need to start your 2weeks supression injections. then after 2weeks you will be asked to go for baseline scan and bt to see if you can continue to next stage which is the stimulation stage. then if reports shows ok to proceed you will start your stimulation injection + suppression injection (means 2 jab per day) for another 8-10days depending on how your follicles react to the injections. hope this helps.

maybe the best bet is to get advise from the gynae u intend to do the endo scratch with. I'm not sure about this endo scratch but its better than guessing and then missed out the right time to do it since u would like to do the FET asap right?
 
yes adnil. i am trying to get hold of my doc in kkh see what he advise. i will meantime go and look for private make aptm and see what they say. thank you :)
 
I was more or less prepared with hpt results. But still u knw its an unbearable sorrow. Now I dont knw if I shud do fet or fresh coz I have one satisfactory grade snowbaby. Am 36. Age is a factor too.

I have cysts fibroids n adenomyosis. But prof said can proceed with cycle and he was happy with my progress. But I must tell u I felt v weak during stim and had super cold feet and hands thruout. Sometimes when I sleep my hands and feet will feel numb and will have pins and needles. Definitely poor blood circulation. Suspect I need to build up my health and womb esp. I believe implantation did not happen at all. I will seek help for sure. Will meet prof on 24 jan so will discuss with him on my next steps.

yes, D21 after AF. you are correct, lucrin injection for 1 mth. after 14 days injection of lucrin, on D15 onwards, start to inject lucrin and Puregon each day.

wait for the review and see what prof suggest best for you. you are not alone babe, not every ladies succeeded in 1st try. be strong and prepare yourself for your next cycle. to tell you the truth, i still have the sour feelings these days as and when but still must go on with life. this time cannot try again. our time will come.

Hi everyone

I am new to this forum and the whole ivf journey. I am currently on day 5 of the ivf cycle. Wanted to check if anyone was prescribed pergoveris during the stimulation phase?

Nurse told me response to gonal f was poor hence the need for an additional boost.

Any experiences?
