Good news is, Dr Sadhana surprised me with ET today. I thought it was going to be Monday or something so pretty unprepared. I transferred 2 Grade 4 embryos, Grade 5 being the best. They even gave me a picture and one embryo looked pretty perfect and fat! The other was really cute also.

Bad news is, I still have a lingering cough that mostly happens when I sleep, and low grade fever of 37.6. :(

Another bad news is, I am majorly constipated. I drank 1 glass of prune juice, a spoon of mineral oil, 3 teaspoons of lactolose (all at different times), and nothing works. I am SO STUCK.

My BT is also on 30Sept...Did u go for ET on 12 Sept? maybe i could have seen u....mine was dr tth...

Just came back from my first scan from KKH after 8 days of puregon..I had numerous follicles on right side(approximately 14) with sizes ranging from 8 - 19.5mm but left side had only 5 follicles between 10 - 12 mm... and my uterine lining has increased to 9.5mm!!!! So happy... Tomorrow have to go back for one more scan..mostly likely will be having my HCG trigger shot tomorrow night and ER might be on Thursday!! keeping my fingers crossed!!
 
taregal : did yr et take long? mine took a while cos mine is difficult case like a maze as what doc said.

yes go back n rest. hope they grow well and implant tightly.
 
budian: my ET was sept 13.. I rem the nurse said you can ask for 19 day MC one if you really want it, they will give it. 2WW is nerve wrecking! I keep second guessing if I'm supposed to do this or that etc.. Now the AF type cramps have gone (must be left over from ER), and my uterus has a really FULL feeling.. like dunno how to explain. Just hope the HCG shot still in my system!! :)

I see...mine was 12 Sept...mine was medicated FET so they said only 2 days..... :(
Also, i think it's difficult also if i were to leave work for 2 wks plus..so just walk extremely slow and careful during this 2 wks...

you can take fedec or this small yellow tablet for flu. both can buy from pharmacy but need pharmacist to dispense

about this BMI thing -i read many times Girls with BMI over 25 decrease their success chances - we have to be fit with an healthy diet And sleep as much as we can
 
Hi gigi31..

I have read about it somewhere too...but there is a video about fertilization that i saw a long time ago in youtube that says having a high BMI does not affect the result of IUI and IVF. ;)

I had just got my BT result today at KKH and its 187...did not meet the 250 mark...they asked me to come back again on Thurs,19 Sept, juz to ensure the number doubles..
I have taken clearblue digital and it said pregnant 2-3 weeks and with 5 other HPTs, they all showed faint positives...
Should I worry? Has anyone come across this reading before?

i dont want to give you too much hope but i ve always been told a positive HPT is a positive HPT no matter the days where as a negative can be a positive
soooo i would take it for a positive
just pray and wait on the 19th only 2 days to go... in the meantime try some more HPT (but sure you ll do it no :rolleyes:)

Pinkbunny21...yup I guess KKH really wanna be sure that a pregnancy is viable if itz 250 n above therefore I need to retake blood test..though I muz say it does give me the jitters...

There's a scale with a range to say if you are pregnant for 2 weeks, the BT number ranges from xxx to xxx. I cant remember the range but 187 is on the low side. Ideally the number doubles or more every 1 week thus the re-test. At this stage, you are definitely pregnant in that the embryo implanted. But if the BT doesn't double, you are at risk of losing it.

So take care of yourself and take things slow. Avoid coughing and don't lurch up from bed. Get off bed by turning to your side and up sideways. Basically, avoid all abdominal crunching.
 
Just to share more about the blood test scale.

A hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (better known as hCG) is produced during pregnancy. In early pregnancy, hCG level will double every 48 – 72 hours. When there is a question regarding the health of the pregnancy, multiple testings of hCG done a couple of days apart give a more accurate assessment of the situation.

I had a low reading at first test which more than doubled a week later. So don't worry about it.

Hi Fithjy, thanks for your advice...as I am on FET, I am also worried abt losing the embryo due to my low BT number hence I am praying really hard it will double..I did hv some occasional coughing maybe due to cold drinks but definitely switching back to warm water or milk..I will try to wake up on my sideways every morning...
 
im feeling v bloated and uncomfortable... like something up go my throat. dunno if its symptom of ohss. as im prone and a high risk of it.

Last time My beta hcg test on D19 was 132...,I was very worried on that day, just wanted to do anything I can... So that same day i went to kkh 24 hrs clinic to ask for a jab(progesterone) on my thigh, just make sure I got enough support. Blood test was repeated 2 days later, it was 284. I
gave birth to a heathy baby girl.

Hi Twins2014...I still hv my progesterone support so i didnt go to 24Hrs KKH to get the progesterone jab...
So u had a low beta too...but good for u it climbes back up...I sure hope it will double by Thurs..thanks for reassuring me...nw I am taking Blackmore's Pregnancy and Breastfeeding vitamins n still continue brazil nuts..hope these will help...
 
Drink gatorade to cope with OHSS. I got this info from the USA forums, I find that it has helped me out a lot this cycle. I stopped the water because I felt so bloated and the water wasn't going anywhere.. gatorade really helped, I bought about 24-30 bottles so far this cycle.. one bottle is 500+ml. You can find it at Jason's at Raffles City, they import it directly.
 
TCM acupuncture - I go to the one at United Sq, you can google "thomson fertility acupuncture TCM", they got 3 outlets I think. They also have a fertility package for IVF cycles.
 
felt better this am. no more nauseous feeling. I bot 100 plus is it ok?

still quite bloated... last night I went up to 38 inches.

I go to raffles hospital tcm acpuncture. one time abt $100 plus.

Did my second scan today..have 7 follicles size between 17.5mm to 20mm and 6 follicles between 13mm to 16.5mm at right side.. Left side had 5 follicles between size 8mm to 16.5mm... And my lining has now increased to 11.1 triple stripe... Feeling confident now..will be going for ER on Thursday... Hope to have good embryos to BFP.. :D

Just had my ER done this morning, retrieved 11eggs. Feeling ok so far, not very bloated, not sore down there. Hope for good no. & good quality Of embryos to transfer on Thursday...keeping my fingers crossed
 
its prob fr fluid..so bloat that I cant bend down. I had 20 eggs retrieved but v v v bad fertilisation.. only 3 usable..

what are u all doing? im watching tv and as I laugh, I feel so pain down there... every laugh and vibration like a bit pain. do u feel v bloated like cant eat much...

My reading was 184 for my first pregnancy. I also didn't have extra jabs. I just continued my progesterone inserts and re-do a bloodtest 2 weeks later. My daughter is now 4 years old!
So I think you are absolutely pregnant! Just take good care of yourself now! :)
 
Hi all, done with ER this morning. Luckily for me,didn't wake up in the midst. Feeling lower abdominal discomfort for a while.
Going for ET on Friday. Is this considered a day 3 ET?
Any thing/tips to take note of these few days prior to ET? thank you! :)

my et was quite fast, the only thing was that had to endure the full bladder.. 2 grade 1 embroyos was transferred yday and 8 was freezed for future... keeping fingers crossed..
but now i feel lower back pain and both leg pains.. dunno why..
dun dare take any medication first.. observe a few more days..

how are you today?? the bills sure, when i receive we can discuss..

Hi everyone..
I did my BT this mrng and its BFP. They had to speed up my results cz I made an urgent appt to meet Dr Sadhana due to my ongoing rashes.
Dr suspected im allergic to the utrogestan. She gve me oral med to try this two days.. will see her on thurs to check if this med works for me.
