so happy for you for the good results.
I am also experiencing pain and bloatedness now. My tummy look so big like pregnant.;) You doing better? Nurse said drink at 2 litre of water and eat/drink more protein. Take care dearie.

Joyfully, wow four children. I like that and hope you fulfill your dream.

Celc: matured = big enough. But to be fertilized, the eggs must have something inside not water. That y not all eggs matured can be fertilized.

CelC, it takes more than egg maturity for fertilisation to take place. Size is one indicator of maturity. Depends on the internal make-up of the egg and the sperm too to see whether they can interact and allow fertilisation to take place. Guess only the embryologists can know the details. Furthermore, if u're doing IVF (and not ICSI), it only means that they leave the eggs and sperm together in a petri dish and let fertilisation take place on its own. So if the sperm cannot penetrate the eggs, no fertilisation takes place at all. Even with ICSI, fertilisation is not guaranteed.

Luv, thanks!

wishing you a smooth 9 months ahead!

Always never fail to educate us with lotsa info on ivf related issues.

A million thanks to you!!

Joyfully, 哪里,哪里! I'm just sharing what I've learnt along the way. Much of what I shared in that earlier post is what I gathered from the KK embryologist. We asked him tons of questions after our two ETs, hahah...

Blurbabe, thanks! At least I know it's normal!

Red Velvet, you drink more water too! Nurse told me to eat 6-8 EW and drink 3 litres of water a day. Do you know when is your ET?

Joyfully, thanks! Hope everyone can 'fa fa fa'!!! BFP BFP!!!

Luv u know a lot!!! Hee!!!

Blurbabe: my BT on 27th! Urs?

Joyfully: welcome to 2ww! Hehe pls rest well ok? Hehe as I'm typing this, suddenly feel like I lost my boobs soreness & only slight cramps. Backache still there tho. But let's just be positive all e way! Jia yooo!

CelC, hehe of cos will let u all know. I'm counting down e days!!

Eskimobaby, my 12dpt is this Sat! Woahhhh so nervous! Let me gather all my courage then! :p

Ladies, after ET can go Acupunture or not?

Babysmurf, I don't mind taking the 9 after the huat (8). Haha.

Luv, you are indeed the walking Wikipedia.

Celc, when is your treatment? Luv is right. No of fertilized eggs more crucial. Building quality eggs more important.

Hope, ET on saturday. Embryologist will call me tmr for details. Take good care yourself.

Ain, my BT is on 25th. My boobs are also no longer as sore as previous. Seems like i have lost all the symptoms too except for the occassional twinges.

Luv, i think eskimo's BT is on 28th. By the way, i work in a school too, though not a teacher.

Red velvet: Congrate on your 长长九九. If I not wrong accupture can still go after ET. To help implanting. Jia jia jia jia you

Luv, yep i am an AM. Hee...

Hope, the nurse ever told me that it is normal for slight spotting after ER. But if it gets too much, please quickly consult a doc. You may want to inform the nurse if you are still spotting tmr.
