No I don't work for them. Just a participant. it's not an easy decision for us ladies to be bald for a couple of months, haha. Well, don't push yourself to do it if u don't feel comfortable. Just help us spread the words & donate :D

Hazel - It is very likely singleton since I only had one embryo put in.

Yeah, morning is always better. Eventhough now my bloated is slowly subsiding, I still bloat more at night I think because I am still on pregnyl every 3 days. Lying down the tummy does not feel that hard.
 
JT, me have to prolong my progynova. My Doc on leave this week so only nxt week I can do ET. Maybe i hv 2 go for 2nd scan. Rest well in ur 2ww.

Linda, Im doing medicated fet now. ET nxt week.

Summer, I'm just going for a check-up since the pregnancy guide recommends so. It's my first pregnancy so I guess I am a bit kiasu. :p
 
btw, i'm doing my 4th day jab on lucrin, puregon and Menopur. is it common to feel like im already having menses cramps and backaches?
 
Hazel. My bloatness not subside yet and no weight gain either. Tomorrow will be my last pregnyl before bt on 7 June. Keeping my fingers and toe cross thought.
 
Carrot, you gotta go buy Guardian's one and try. hazel is right... Clearblue's HPT is really too light to detect... I just bought the cheap Guardian's HPT and tested, both really showed faint lines on the results panel..Compared to the 2 clearblue ones that I tried and set my panic button buzzing.. in the span of yesterday and today, i think i can be a HPT expert LOL.
The other brand FORTEL (Ultra Sensitive) is cheap and good TOO!

The instructions reads 'The Fortel pregnancy test is ultra sensitive; studies have shown this test can detect as low as 10mIU/mg of hCG. Its it designed to detech the pregnancy hormone as early as 2-3 days from the rise of hCG levels.'

It can be found in Watson's at only $8 plus per test and it has a very nice box. This is the very first one I tested yesterday around 12pm and shown me that faint line. Thereafter I used ClearBlue twice, with very very faint or no line at all... I literally stared at the results panel till my eyes are crossed...

After Linda advised using Guardian's, i went out to buy straight away, bought 2 and tested on both and both shown faint red lines on the results panel again...

My last Pregnyl jab was last Friday. Just to be sure, I've one more Fortel and Guardian's HPT that I will try again tomorrow noon... DH thought I'm going crazy trying different kinds of HPT... but again, this 2ww is really driving me nuts, coupled with the cramps, maybe I am just seeking for an earlier answer before my final BT this Friday...

Now i gotta pray hard for my BT this Friday thats supports all my experimented HPTs :p
 
Jass , I bloated all the way till last saturday, a day after my last pregnyl jab... maybe your bloating will subsides a day after your last pregnyl jab too ^_^
 
Daintreez. I already took three pregnyl jabs and now still bloat, especially at the lower tummy. Really look like preggy . Haha
 
Jass, Yes i realized the pregnyl jab made me look like a preggie woman too... I was also given 4 Pregnyl jabs after my ET... last jab was last Friday 27th may.. the bloat will get better after that... my bloat got better since saturday night... still a little but not as bad.. from 4 months preggie, now i looked 2 months preggie :p

Sisters, I received a call from the hospital. They told me I don't need to go for blood test anymore. They can only tell me next week after my scan on next steps.

The nurse kept asking me if anyone will be accompanying me. I asked her if it's bad news. She said they can't tell till after the scan. But told me to be prepared! :'(

I read somewhere, they said HCG levels increases every 36-72hrs.. dont know am i right...

Linda, I've been talking to them and hope they r hearing me... Even my son is patting them on my tummy and asking them to stay on to be part of our family...
 
Hazel, i am with nuh. According to those who r also with nuh, they will give duphaston, pregnyl n proluton for the entire first trimester after bfp. Dunno if it is by age. But luckily there r no major side effects so far.
 
Mabel, THANKS for your good feelings!!!! 'hugz' I remembered the nurse said that we can go for an earlier BT if we want, but just in case the levels of hCG are not high enough, we will still need to go back for another BT... am also in a dilemma is I should go for an earlier BT...
 
Koirc but can you ask them for bloodtest results?is hcg doubling well still.if so, perhaps they feel it will be fine n no need further bt. If not shouldn't they be trying more support to see how it goes?

Cos I believe sgh will do extra blood test if they think is a need to. And when is ur scan to detect heartbeat ?
And can u call the nurse again and demand for any result cos ultimately we hav e right to know our result. Anyway pls remains relax and calm

Daintreez- congrats to u, wah u have tested so many HPT hee... So for the cheaper HPT, got line means positive, no line mean negative?
 
Linda, this is my 2nd fresh. 1st fresh also long protocol and mc at week 6, then go for FET but no luck. So this time round dr change me to short protocol. Short protocol is very fast almost same as FET. I really hope I will success this time round... I will try my best to do whatever or eat watever which is good so that I will have no regret then.
 
daintreez, hooray......congrats. Ur bhcg reading shld be high since u can detect the positive line at d13.So happy for u. I only collect my support medicine the next day after I bfp.

koirc, what happen? Stay positive ya...
 
The hcg level is not doubling well. So they told me I don't need to go for blood test next week since my scan is in the same week. Just go for the scan to see if can detect heartbeat. So I can only wait till next Friday. I am very sad now. :'( :'( :'(
 
Linda, for medicated fet normaly on day 14 of af u will go for 1st scan to see ur lining. The pill to be taken starting from day 4 of af.. The whole process takes abt 3 weeks from af till et. If ur lining is ok then after 2 to 3days from ur 1st scan u can proceed to do ET.
 
Koric, wat BT? U tested preg previously? Hcg level didn't meet the 250 mark at KKH so retested? Wats the 2nd reading? Did it increase at a healthy rate but level still considered low in kkh's STD? If so, dun worry too much. My first pregnancy at D18 was only 119. Re test again 3 days late it was 300 over. Nurse told me still low asked me to wait for scan. I saw my girl's heartbeat at 7+wks.

Daintreez, when I got preg at 2nd time from natural FET, I tested from d8 post ET with cheapo online hpt, clearblue n guardian. Everyday I tested with a few kind of hpt coz on insert cam test.. Saw faint positive on D9, but continued testing till BT date! So u are not crazy at all.. We all anxious to know ASAP!
 
Koirc, my dear, dont be disheartened, maybe the HCG is doubling slower, the heartbeat is important, whats the last HCG reading? dont be sad... bb can feel it... 'HUGZ'
 
Koirc, Dun worry, I guess it shld be ok. If the BT result did not double they will ask u go down immediately for scan etc and will not ask u to wait till next week. Dun worry ok. But U shld call the nurse and ask for ur bt result to assure urself otherwise u will not be able to stay relax till next week.

Carrot, yes, I tested 5 so far... 3 showed faint lines (cheap ones), 2 clearblues almost nothing at all... (kiasu right) u know when i was TTCing, every month test is flat 1 single line, not even a shadow in the results panel...so this faint line really feels like it meant something :p

Summer, its really nerve wrecking, can totally understand what u sisters had went thru during the 2ww, 'SALUTE'... thanks for all your encouragements

but BT is still the final hurdle to cross... by the way do u know how are the bhcg measurements different from HPT? Cos i read, HPT can only read 25mIU/mg minimum.. this equals to what numbers in our BT? I think I read in this thread before earlier on that some of the sisters are discussing...

Hazel, yes, the going around hunting for this HPTs is really challenging... although i told myself no no dont test, but everytime I feel like peeing I will be tempted to open another HPT to test... luckily I am not alone.... ^_^
 
Jass, u r right... and when two of my friends recently 'shotgun' at 34 and 39yrs old, I almost felt like hanging myself... I am in my early 30s

Hazel, I'm with SGH so I think the process is slightly different. My pregnancy blood test reading was 87.6. It was considered low and I was instructed to go for blood test every week until first scan.

My hubby just called to change scan date to next Wednesday instead.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I can only pray... Luckily today on MC. Otherwise I'll be crying in the office. So malu!
 
Koirc - Hang in there... & keep asking your little one(s) to fight on till scan. as difficult as it is, hope u can find a way to try to stay positive for next few days. *sayang*

yeah i realised our sisters with KKIVF knows lots more stuffs. the nurse that i'm always with does tell me lots. i'm the one who always dunnoe wat to ask haha. my fav nurses are Nurse Tan and Nurse Siti!

I'm still waiting for the clinic to give me an appt date. ever since the ET that didnt happen i feel like it's hanging there. need to be more patient.

I was on medicated fet N I ovulated!! Ridiculous!! It was suggested that I would have a higher dosage in my next round...I had enough of kkh...Any good private hospital to recommend?
