Dr zou say that going to et time, we have to go more often, like 5 times in a week....gosh!
Qingwei, dr zou charge per acupuncture at $25 per session. Medicine i not sure as i never given medicine before.

Hi Qingwei - for my medicated fet, I collected the medicine when I saw Dr Loh last month. We have to call the nurse when af report (should be full flow). If u have not collected your medicine, she would probably tell u to go and get the medicine as well as explain to you the process. Will start the medication on the 4th day of af and go for scan on 14th day.
Dr Zou charges $25 for 40 min acu (front and back). Medicine is around $40 - $50...

JT, dr zou medicine can last for how long? Example for how many days n for daily consume?
We only need to go for acu before i o n before I go for et right? No acu during 2ww?
Coz need to plan the schedule to go acu during office hr. Need to inform boss.

Qingwei - Dr Zou will give one weeks' medicine and 2 times a day (1 - 2 pkts each time depending on what medicine). Best to go acu 2x a week. As Ron said, u can go after work, which i did. I always go there around 730 or 8pm.
I only did 1 scan on day 14. As my lining is ok, i proceeded with ET after few days. In the event the lining is not good, they will up your medicine dosage and scan the lining again after 2 days.
For my case, i didn't even rest for a cycle as Dr Loh said I can start straight next cycle. I failed my fresh in April and I started my fet in May. As I dont want to waste more time, decided to go ahead with it lor....

qingwei, Im on medicated Fet but due to Doctor not around for few days they only do my scan on d16 of my af. I will take d pill longer. With medicated fet we can control it not as normal fet.

ext period or wait for few months. For me, as my af is hywired after I Bfn I rest few months.

Weaky, to measure bbt, you need to get a thermometer which has 2 decimal place. This is different from the normal digital thermometer which has only one decimal place.
To be more accurate with the measurement, you need to measure it around the same timing everyday.

Just went for my first visit with dr zou. Hopefully after tiaoing thismth, I ll be in gd shape for July.

I'm with Dr Yong. i stopped on ET day which was last friday. found out that i was a little hyperstimulated. so have to wait for maybe a month or two. still waiting for a call from the clinic.

Hi kimmy, I am doing my 1st ivf at kkh in July. After my this cycle I will go see dr Zou. I think my AF/body going haywire... During the last 1 week, I feel like a woman going thru the 2ww hoping AF dnt come... The moment it came it like cold water pouring my head. Am not sure how I can go thru it if my ivf start...

Yeah, see dr zou to tiao is good. I'm doing the same too. will be going once a week once af subsides down a little. I know how U felt in the last week, I ironically wished it came sooner so I wldnt be disappointed then when it came I was like why did it come at all...
at least we have each other and the sisters here rooting here so I think that helps a lot. And I'm sure once u start, u'd muster every courage in that body of yours to go through it for that dream all of us are here for.

linda, what i understand is that one uses medicine to 'control' lining (like thicken it or support) while natural goes with your natural rhythm of ovulation for transfer. I think. I may be wrong cuz I'm going thru my 1st in a month's time. I believe the other sistas here can explain/advice better.

Koirc, could it be food poisoning or the support medicine. I m still having my diarrhoea till now. More than a week already. Slightly better with constant dose of charcoal but not stop completely. We suspect is the progesterone. Cos normally I have diarrhoea day before AF and on the first day of AF. So my dh suspect its the progesterone that I m sensitive too.

I did natural FET last month. Give kkh a call when af report. No medication given. Scanning starts on day 10. You will be scanned on the thickness of your lining & the size of your follicles.
Total cost excluding insurance is ard $1100.

Btw I m blessed with my boy from my 2nd Ivf.
After I had failed my 1st Ivf I started diligently going to dr Zou place 2x a week for accup and 5sessions continous before ER and 1session before ET. At the same time I took prenatal multi and anmum for my 2nd Ivf preparation

mine was mild so i just continued with Cabergoline pills. finished already.
the embryologist chose the best embryos to freeze so they froze 6 out of my 10 embryos. so later down the road i'll continue with my frozen embryos

Linda, unfortunately, nope.
Yes, dr loh decided natural FET for me. Natural FET is more stressful as u will hv to worry abt the thickness of your lining. The cycle will be abandoned if the minimum thickness is not met.
For medicated FET, refer to earlier post by joannetan at 6.39pm.

Daintreez. U ever encounter this before ?
I woke up last night at 150am to drink water and after that feel nauseous and woke up at 2am to vomit and yet nothing came out. The pulling feeling around the lower area is back again.End up pee two times within one hour. Got headache as well which need DH to massage my forehead. What a night!!

Just to reply the cost of medicated fet and natural fet only different by few dollars (less than $20: cost of medicine). However the cost of fet for each individual is different due to the process of thawing and how many embryo we transfer. Estimated cost for Fet around $1.5k excluding of insurance.

Jass, I did wake up in the middle of the night to drink water, but never felt like puking in the middle of the night. I dont have pulling feeling at lower back, only backache and stomach cramps that felt like AF symptoms, yes, I can pee up to 3 times an hour
my last headache was during first few days of Gonal F, no more thereafter... are u feeling better now?

Sistas, remember I was mentioning my friend doing the BT yesterday and I was waiting for her results hoping she BFP? ended up its BFN
actually her BT is tomorrow 1st June, but she did it 2 days earlier, is it common for us to do BT earlier if there's no spotting? and if there's no spotting up till BT does it means high chances of BFP too? I kept thinking of it last night..
