IVF/ICSI Support Group

Hi ladies,

I just did my transfer at D5 on 16 Dec. I transferred 2 eggs and freezed 12 eggs. My gynae told me that one of my egg is very good and it has reached blastocyst on its own and is already hatching. The other will probably hatch in another 2-3 hours time. I read in the achives that you ladies were saying that with blastocyst and hatching, chances are higher?

Act after ER my doc told me that she wants my womb to subside first and not be so bloated so she changed the ET to D5. I'm really excited... Are you eating anything special now? I'm still injecting progestrone jabs on my butt daily cos after the ET they took my blood and realise that my progestrone level is kinda low. So my doc wants me to take progestrone jabs daily till 30 dec. Other then that I am also taking oral med like utrogestan, folic acids and also the vagina inserts...
 
well actually mine is FET and the only support is just insert daily...

I'm taking TCM at the same time...hopefully will work

Icic.. So that means this is your 2nd cycle is it? Or your 1st time succeed and you are doing it for baby #2?

Hazel, i think my level is the same as u...not that high....no worry....now all u need is to pray to GOD & be happy. as i did....even thou i have MS through out 9mts. Main thing be HAPPY....& THE BABY WILL TO.

came back from KK 24 hr clinic, surprising not that crowded. Accordingly to the doctor as long as im not bleeding and no vaginal pain, the baby shld be fine as currently they are nt able to determine whether the baby is alright anot. I did not take dairy product as i hv weak bowel before preg, and i noe what type of food can cause tummyache to me thus when the pain persist im quite worried that i got food poisoning but the doctor said prob is due to pregnancy causing me to have soft stool. Now juz hv to take medicine to see how it goes.
 
My pregnancies was not easy, after 2ww of BFP I have MS & flu till the day my son was given birth. I have lost weight for the 1st 5mth, my coll thought that I have manage to loose weight. Around the 4mth Dr notice that my percenta was low & tell me it might move up...but on the 5mth it didn’t & worst it was at the opening of the uterine cavity it is very dangerous to both mother & baby, Dr den tell me to go for C-section, I just take it, happily tell her ok...every time I went to scan & see Dr they will ask me am I ok, I was wondering why they keep asking me. Finally the day to choose the date for my son to come out into the world, Dr tell me she will booked someone special in case something go wrong to me...I like no reaction tell Dr ok. On that day the anaesthetist scolded me why I choose ½ ( mean I was awake during the C-section) as for my case anything can happen & it is not good that I was awake. I just smile at him & said my throat was swollen due to my cough & he just keep quiet. GOD have blessed me throughout the 9 mths. Be Happy & Glad that you are pregnant now & the baby will be health & happy inside you.

If you go for fresh cycle, you need to fork out cash already? If abit, still can try if you want.

nctgrace, go easy on ur diet and take special attention of wat u eat...coz sometimes i realise that i will have the pain and wan to vomit if i eat something that i cannot digest well....
 
blissful, I can't do anything. I just pray hard I can see heart beat at 6 wks. For ur boy, u saw the heart beat at 6 wk? Your pregnancy is not easy n u eventually delivered a healthy boy. remembered u mentioned u r spotting too right? That was dangerous too. So,there is hope for me.. Did u pray very hard that time?

Actually, I am dunno if I can do natural delivery though I hope to. Coz I take ages to recover from wounds. I usually need double the Amt of MC. My pelvic bones r narrow so someone ever told me natural delivery is not going to be easily for me.

I can only pray to GOD. I am not a catholic but dh n his family are... As long as HE can bless my bb n me for a smooth delivery, the rest is not impt anymore. Guess, like wat Soon-to-be said, look at the happy n successful low HCG cases. Not everything is gone case.
 
Hazel, my gf who jus delivered had spotting and bleeding (she claimed like menses flow) for 3 days during her 3 1/2 mth pregnancy...then placenta low since week 30 or earlier (can't remember the details).......She was aso with Dr Loh. So she said Dr Loh always looked worried when she went for weekly visit from week 30. But she delivered a healthy baby boy at week 36/37. She was constantly asked to bed rest coz Dr Loh realised that her problems come up whenever she went back to work (stress at work).

So, it's impt not to stress urself and baby to have a healthy baby lor....
 
Nctgrace, u take note of those that you cannot eat one and then try to avoid...I already have a few in my list, then I will tell my hubby "oh, baby doesn't like this, doesn't like that"...

Recently, was telling hubby that baby doesn't like chinese food only like western and good stuff like bird's nest and shark fins coz I don't have problems swallowing and retaining these in my stomach...hehehehe

Yes. Its my first round with them. But actually I went to Dr Ann Tan. Then the procedures are done at CARE Paragon. After the procedure. I follow up with Dr Tan only. Was yours like that too?

So far I have been feeling giddy esp after taking the medication. I have a few medications to take. Morning, I got 5 tablets and 1 jab, noon time, there's 2 tablets and night time 3. Plus the morn and night inserts. I was also asked to continue with this immunocal drink which is a protein drink too.

Last night I felt some alight pain at my womb area like something poking into my womb. Don't know if it is what they say implantation.

And I have been drinking chix essense daily too. and I stop drinking cold drinks already. So the liang stuff and spicy food I stop taking.

What about you? So far how are you feeling?
 
GOD granted my wish to BFP. I need to hv faith in HIM. HE will help me as long as I believe in HIM. my bb & I are in good hands.
 
during my time with care, i have to go back every 3 day for a jab. Yes remember have to take about 3 to 4 type of pill and insert in the morning...

wow seem like it that they gave you alots of support...

I don't have too much symptom this round... feel slightly bloated and lower back pain...nothing too serious...
 
Soon-to-be, my mum had AF also when she was conceiving my bro. She did not even know she was pregnant until 4 mths coz she told me every mth she had menses. Even doc dun believe her when she went to test for pregnancy at 4 mths coz she was growing fatter.

She also asked me not to worry, n said my friends who MC n me are different. We all hv different fate n destiny. no one person is the same.
 
blissful, I had 2 wisdom tooth surgery. Usually, is 1 wk MC. I was given 2 wks each time coz my wound dun heal! I did a day surgery under my own gynae. Similarly, he gave me 1 wk MC, I had to go back to him to extend another 1 wk cos my wound didn't heal after 1 wk... After that extra 1 wk of MC; I went back to see him n still not fully recovered yet.

so if c-section, I wonder how long I will take. anyhow, dun think so far. Bb healthy n growing well are the most important.

fish that contains mercury which can harm
the foetus. Avoid any fish longer than 1.5 metre
eg. Shark, king markerel. Tuna once a week is
fine.

singapoh, I can't take threadfin. my wounds hv a tendency to form ugly keloids. Even a small little cut I get keloids. So if take threadfin will be worse coz will result in even more production of skin during recovery.

That is why i cant take the risk to do lasik n thread my eyebrows. The specialists also dun wan to do for me the moment they know I am prone to keloids coz I will spoil their reputation later.

When dr loh removed my Polyps by D&C I told him. He asked me not to worry n said my womb very impt. He can't allow scaring to form n he will be extra gentle... :p

Fyi, natural delivery can also get keloids at vagina! 1 of my Gf did!
 
hi all, need to find out - the tiny blue progestron tablet - after the FET - which is during the 2ww - do we need to take 2 or 3 tablets? Thanks.
 
Singapoh, keloids r a result of overproduction of skin tissue during recovery. Threadfin aids in recovery coz it helps in pdtn of skin tissue. For for pp like me who tend to hv overpdtn in skin tissues, can't take threadfin. Coz my body is already over producing skin tissue, take threadfin wld me increasing that pdtn.

Keloid is a scaring tissue that looks lumpy n 'raised' on the area of the wound after recovery. Initial stage it can look reddish also....
 

hazel - thank hazel. in 2ww (that means before the BT) is it take 2 or 3 tablets? Its the Progynova2mg each blue tablet. Thanks.
