hug me, that one I dunno. Coz I dun think Kkh ivf patients take that during 2ww. Wait n see if other sisters take that n can help U?
 


gosh hazel. i took 2 for the past week after et and i suddenly thought that the instruction is to take 3 tablets??? gosh. i am feeling ups and downs now. i am with kkh dr loh.
 
hug me, what's the medicine for? to support lining? Sisters here are either on inserts or Pregnyl jabs to support that. Wat did the prescription on the medicine says?
 
hazel - sorry but i dun know. i was given this pressary too - cyglogest or something like that - 2x a day. so many things to take and the dosage changes before et and after et that i am now all confused.

i look up the internet for Progynova - it says for hormones.

Take a rest and perhaps discuss with your dh whether to do another cycle.
Don't give up, maybe you will expect your 2nd child naturally.

Singapoh, oh cannot eat shark fin har? I didn't know leh...i ask my mum before i ate...she aso didn't say cannot....okie okie, better dun eat anymore....anyway, it was expensive, treated by my sis to the whole family...
 
Gan2973 - the instruction says take 1 tablet. (!)DUH. i remember going to the ivf counter to check and the nurses told me something like take 2 then take 3 then ... ... (that's the part that i forget!) but its's definately not 1. Gosh.

Hopefully some sister here on FET under kkh can post soon.
 
Soon-to-be, ask her to treat ur bb Cordycepts when u r in final trimester. Very good for ur precious.

Sorry to hear your results. Do take care and rest your body before you decide your next step.

Just some updates on myself for MIA the last few days.
I had spotting (a wk before BT) and it became heavier so I had to do an early BT. We were prepared for the worst. However, it was a twist of fate that the BT result was positive but the spotting has escalated to bleeding (still bleeding as I am typing this).I had taken hormone jabs and oral progesterone so keeping my fingers crossed. Have to go for 5th wk scan to check for sac to know if my babies are still there. Till then, nothing can be done at this point of time except to remain positive and prepare myself for the worst.

So to the ladies out there, dun worry too much cos the road is still long and take step at a time.
I guess I won't be logging in as much cos need to rest.

think our mothers know abt all these. Also dun take
raw or undercooked eggs. U can refer to the booklet
"care during pregnancy" in KKH. Given at registration
during yr 1st visit after BFP.
 
Hug_Me, if I'm not wrong, you should be on medicated FET. I just did my medicated FET not long ago. The instructions given to me by the nurse then was to reduce the no. of Progynova tablets you have been taking before ET by one. I think different patients would be prescribed with different dosage of Progynova accordingly. In my case, I was taking 5 tablets before my ET and on the day of my ET (D1 of 2ww), I was instructed to reduce the no. of tablets to 4. I had been taking 4 tablets of Progynova daily throughout my 2ww. Hope this helps
 
Ladies, does anyone know if traditional javanese massage can help to increase fertility? One of my friends told me the masseuse told her that when she went for the massage. She asked me to try. Anyone heard of this before?

The support was given by Dr Ann Tan, not CARE. They only gave me the basics. Then Dr Tan gave me extras when I went back for review.
 
starbabies - thanks. i guess i need to call kkivf tomorrow. My dosage was indeed different from yours. mine was 2 tablets then to 3 then... (???) Whatever, it's more than 1 week now since et, i guess i cant do much now. thanks anyway for your reply.
 
libra, 2 hrs. At Kkh, if BT is done early in the am at abt 8am, will get a call at abt noon.

Actually ur last BT was last tuesday. D14 right? Now 1 wk later, wld hv increased many times.
 
Hi Blissful, thanks for sharing on your similar experiences. So sorry to hear about your results, but do take heart that you already have an adorable son. =) At least you have personally experienced that miracles do happen, and perhaps will repeat itself in your next cycle. Some things are beyond our control...we do what we can, and leave the rest to Heaven's best plans for us.
 
LYn, no worries, I am with KK but am thinking of switching to NUH upon recommendation by some of the sisters.. I have made an appt to meet Prof Wong on 6 Jan. However, I'll still be seeing Dr Loh on 5 Jan to review on my failed FET. We will then decide on the next course of action.

LYn, I am not sure if it is compulsory or not. Did KK asked you to do this procedure b4 ivf? Can anyone share if it is compulsory, please?
 
Lyn, don't think it is compulsory to do if you don't have polyps. If dr didn't ask you to do means ok. I did in April as I have polyps which was seen through HSG and ultrasoun and Dr Loh advised i should remove before i embark on IVF as the polyps may inhibit implantation.

Singapoh n Soon-to-be, if 6 wks scan is done at AMC, tHERE wld be a detailed report. is the report readable to any layman? Ie, length, heart beat rate,etc. Or I hv to wait for dr loh to interpret when he sees me? Thanks.
 
Hazel, ya, my sis is v nice to me..she has even contributed to the bird's nest that my mum has been making me for everyweek.....already told her wat i wan for my baby...hehehe

I'm not sure about the detailed report as I did mine at Dr Loh's room. I did the 1st scan at 7week and can only see heartbeat..was only able to see the shape and length when I go back 2 weeks later.

Singapoh, I don't recall getting that booklet leh, is it coz I only got transferred during my last visit? Nevertheless, will not shark fin till delivery...last night 11plus felt like eating frog leg porridge and hubby refused to go out and get for me...angry w him...*pout*
 
Soon-to-be, I need to see bb's heart beat at 6wks. That's my worry... Coz my HCG is low... Low can be coz of poor foetus growth....
