blissful, ur son u took BT twice? is it coz u were spotting so ur 1st BT was earlier than D17/18? i bet u cant remember the bHCG score then right?

soon-to-be, okay. i will do that. thanks for being so helpful to surf the web to reassure me

Blissful, so ur first BT was on D18, then u took another BT thereafter & nurse said increase & case closed... okay...

not working today, took leave. where got mood to work
 
blissful, coz there are very few successful egs like ur case in this forum. Ie, a healthy 9 mths. U r the 3rd one is this forum.

Esk, I tried taking apple for breakfast for a period of time, but still the same...it's already this situation for me before preggy...so after preggy, I'm more or less prepared that sure get constipation.....i am trying with 2 servings of fruits, more veggie and more water...

Har? Too much fibre can aso cause constipation?? *faint*.....now i think not that bad yet, but if develop piles, I will sure for medical help.
 
Singapoh & blissful, the reading has gone up from 119 to 349 but i can tell is not ideal still, coz nurse told me this morning, she is hoping for a 400-500 reading....

she asked me not to worry & wait for 6ww scan to see heartbeat
 
Singapoh, yes, am going back to work tomorrow. but am high risk as low HCG can mean the embyro growth is no good.. well, now only at 6ww then i will know leow....

Technically, no need double. If you ask Dr Loh, he will tell you too. Textbook requirements is just 66% increase every 2 days. Your HCG level is fine, dont worry.
 
Singapoh, i cant coz i need to give a reason for taking leave since am away so long already. n i dun wan office pp to know. if my boss / colleagues ask, i will just say dunno yet. need to wait for scan
 
Hazel, dont worry too much about initial readings. Maybe still early stage thats why increase is slow but as long as increased 66% means normal. Given next few days more development, it can sprint upwards suddenly also.
 
sunflower, thanks for ur encouragement. at kkh, they wun test my BT anymore since the 2nd BT showed that it has increased. So, i got to wait for 6 wks scan to make sure there is a heat beat. thanks again.

Hazel, not true, if you insist you want some more BT, they will give. So if that gives you peace of mind, you can request to test again.

But i feel, your levels are ok, no need worry so much into the statistics, no need retest. Just take care and wait for week 6 scan. A nice surprise awaits you.
 
sunflower, thanks alot. maybe coz i hv friends with this kind of readings that did not turn out well on 6 wk.. coz am a bit disheartened.

anyhow, i will stop having negative thoughts! thanks alot.

Bliss, oh....have to fork out cash already?

In that case, perhaps try naturally when u r better? Sometimes I find life is weird. when u least expect it, u'll get it.....

Anything can happen. u nv know. when i got married 3 yrs ago, my make-up artist told me she has a son & she had the son when she is close to 40. she told me she did not expect it to happen at all as she does not have any eggs. she said it was confirmed by the doc. but, she was not bothered abt it, coz to her, at most no kids.

but one day, she has pregnancy symptoms, such as nausea. she went to see a GP & the GP told her to test for pregnancy as she has pregnancy symptoms. BUT she insisted that it is not possible at all, coz she had no eggs. Still, she tested coz the doc insisted & she was pregnant!

our body do change for the better at times, we just dunno. so, dun say is not possible in ur case, okay.
 
blissful, do u know that thyriods medication cause infertility? a colleague of mine had thyriods after her 1st kid. so doc told her, she will not get pregnant with thyroid medication so dun hv to take any precaution. She was so upset. BUT, she went on to hv no. 2 & no. 3 naturally when on thyriod medicine.

Another eg, a colleague wanted to stop at 2. So she did a procedure to put a "ring" (dunno wat that is called) in her vagina to prevent her from getting pregnant. the probability of getting pregnant using this method is very close to zero though not zero. guess what, she got pregnant!!! from then on, she only trust contraceptive pills.
 


take my case for eg, my BHCG is low. Yes, I am of higher risk than other sisters who have great BHCG figures. And though i have read & personally seen a few of such cases where the worst happened. But, there are still a handful of ladies who make it. babyberry & U are 2 egs. I saw a posting in another thread early this year where this sister only had a 50.8 BHCG reading on D17 but also went on to have a bb boy.

Of course, i cant help but still worry. coz is so hard to pregnant & when finally i did, the nos are not great. but i will continue to pray hard to GOD & hope HE can grant my wish to be a mother & be the miniority who succeeded despite low BHCG. that is the best i can do. the rest is not beyond my control anymore
