hi Nctgrace,
seems you and me did ET on the same date - 25th Nov. yours was D3 transfer? mine was d2 ,not sure why my dr opted for D2.. understand d3 or blast got better chance... anyway this 2ww is killing me.. during about 4 days after ET, i got symtoms like cramping ,pinching, nausea but 5th day of ET onwars i have no symtoms except a bit of uncomfortable stomach which is normally i get before AF.. so worried.

Dun worry too much....every one experience different symptoms during the 2ww.

During my 2ww (FET), I had cramping and increase in discharge (like ovulating) from D5 onwards till BFP and few weeks after that.

For my fresh IVF cycle, I had bloatedness, nausea, cramping, increase in discharge, diarrhoea, gastric etc

hi soulvacation, for me its not the injections or the scannings that is stresful, it is the emotional attachment to your eggies that grows during the procedure and i am still learning to overcome that ... i cry everytime i try to talk to my eggies , it;s the hope and longing for them that makes it quite difficult to accept any failed outcome; injections, weight gains, bruises etc discomforts are really minor steps to go through and as long as you put in your best efforts, your wish will come true ...like Ms. Spiffy and Ms. Hazel !
 
hoho03, i just did ET, now 2ww. but i thank u for the well wishes. i agree with u, the pain & discomforts are really nothing. my lucrin scare earlier really made me realise that every step of the cycle is very important... n how precious ivf embryos and pregnancy are... previously i dun feel it. but now, i do. be Positive & continue praying, okay.
 
hoho03, we have done our best. the rest is not within our control. but strong will power n a positive attitude will see us through.

Skies when Dr Cheng diagnose u with PCOS? Did he say roughly when u can transfer ur embryos? Its more important to get treated first. Dun worry so much tomorrow will be ER...sat u will noe ur embryos grade. All the best.
Inj cetrotide is more painful...Opps ai just enjoy these few days with gonal F jab. U inj lucrin urself? Its a one time inj only right?
 
He said I have a lot of follicles.. I think there is nothing to prevent this ba.. He mentioned that either I can start again this month or wait for a few months for ET..

For centroide n lucrin, I did at TFC or 24hrs clinic. Don't dare to do myself coz for centroide have do inject at an angle so I travel there for them to do for me. =) Lucrin is a one time jab.. I'm jab- free for today..
 
Does anyone know if contact lens are allowed during ER?? I know make-up, nail polish are not allowed but what about contact lens??

Contact lens is not allowed during the pickup as you will be under GA.
I can't even bring in my specs so everything was a blur and i can only hear voices.. hehe
 
When i did my 1st round in GlenE, they only told me the no. of eggs collected after they woke me. Not sure about other hospital.
I guess quality is subjected to the fertilization rate.
When will you be doing the pickup?
 
bakaholic, i was allowed to wear my specs all the way to the OT bed.. right b4 the doc comes, the nurse kept it for me. i told them am as blind as a bat with glasses.. :p

So you are going to have ur ER soon rite. How many days of gonalf do you have already?
 
Tmr is my big day going to do my blood test..i am so anxious now..dun wan to test on HPT again coz test it on D14 and the result is negative..hopefully miracle will happen on me.

Happy, I suggest no more testing till tomorrow. I know it is difficult. Just think it is one more day only

I did not test when i did mine though the urge wanted me to do so. But i guess i dont want to be disappointed.

Hi skies, dun worry. We have tried our best and come this far so just keep a positive attitude. It's beyond our control anyway.

Su_yana, I am in my D10 of gonalF. Tomorrow will scan and hopefully ER next wk. Getting bloated and uncomfortable so hope to get it over with. But my ET will be done by another doc cos Prof on holiday by then.
 
Skies call TFC at 62527766 speak to embryologist on sat to check fertilization, they should noe the quality. So have u plan on when to transfer? U saying this month can start again??? Start wat? How many follicles u had? My scan yesterday without the gonal F is 9 follicles. Now i worry abt the nos of follicles. Ai i think everyone of us here will have different worries at every stage. Cheers u r jab free today.
 
Bakaholic, so your ET will by another doctor. I think it is a male doctor too rite. He is equally good though never under him before.
I think u might be able to put on ur specs till u lie on the OT bed. Coz they will not push you in to the OT but u will walk with a nurse. So if u cant see will be a problem rite

bakaholic, just tell the nurse nicely. said u need ur specs coz high degrees, no specs cant see. told her b4 start of procedure u will pass to the nurse at OT for safe-keepying. the nurses are usually quite accomodating.
 
So, i have to walk myself to the OT? Then I really need my specs. Cos previously in private hospital, I was in wheelchair from ward to OT.

Dr. Chew will be doing the ET for me. I hope he got lucky hands too!

This month I can start on the birth control pills using Dec menses.. But then have to check with Dr Cheng again. I'm not sure where to proceed on if FET.
 
oh my all this talk is really getting me excited. I am going for my blood test this coming monday. Still on Lucrin.
Is it normal to have reddish discharge?

Hi Joyluck,

I done my ER on 23/11 and Et 25/11. For me, after ET, slight bloatedness. The next day worse got nauseous, vomitting, bloatedness. Becos i got 30 eggs, thus when ET day, DR did ask me whether want to delay the process as he afraid that i will get OHSS. I told him since i have gone so far no pt delaying as the chances will be slimmer.

Btw, you with which Dr & hospital. And when are you gg for you preg test?

Su, I took Spirulina during preparation and 2wks rest. it kept me healthy. and protein loads as well.
 
Vi4n, the one i saw spriulina was soy based. Not too sure if it is good coz heard soy product is bad. Which brand of spirulina were u taking?

super busy at work. only today can sneak time online. At home now i don't on lappy already. Jus dinner watch tv, then laze on the bed then zzz...

Next scan will be 15 Dec for the Nuchal and 1st tri scan.

Today is officially 11 weeks. time flies.. but not fast enough for next visit to see baby again. hahaha..

Su, I'm taking purely Spirulina from Red Sun. Spirulina itself already high in protein and other vit and zinc.
 

hazel - not yet. i will be doing the blood test on monday to see if i can proceed. i feel like the days are moving so slowly for monday to come..
