I remember I had fever during my fresh ivf cycle, I still carried on with the daily injection.

I have stopped wearing nail polish for years. Now my nails look more healthy. Last time have to wear during work, nails so yellowish..yikes..
 


Singapoh n Rostrum, these days got gel, permanent colour n wun stain nails. Just that needs the salon to remove. I like gel colour, wun chip n can do housework n can last much longer... Hehe

I had a few scan to check the size of my eggs and used the ovulation kit to test for ovulation. When the eggs have reached to the desire size ( I think 16 mm) I did ET few days after that.
 
Rostrum, the salon that I go to does gel colour. is very common now I think. Maybe your salon does also. Check that out,

must remove nail polish during ER and ET so that the anaesthetist (esp ER) can monitor our nail bed colour shld they have colour change...

sorry its been awhile since i've been here but now i'm back to document my journey....

i had my ER on 2nd Nov and got a shock when i found out that i had 46 follicles retrieved! was a little bloated after the procedure and was told to come back on 4th Nov for ET. when i got there in the morning, i was told i needed first to do a bloodtest to check if i have OHSS since there were many follicles...i had to wait an hour for the results and then was told that i could proceed...in the ET room, dr loh did mention that even though i dont have OHSS now, i still stand a chance to develop it if i get pregnant....and furthermore, my bloodtest also revealed that i was highly anaemic...but thats been the case all my life. so i told dr loh to proceed with the ET...out of the 46, 22 fertilised and the 2 transferred were both Grade 5 (the best grade).... i was given progesteron inserts & plenty of iron tablets...i had a little bloating for a bout a week after ET...on the Sunday after the ET, i had severe diahorrea and vomitted once...i couldnt eat anything. went to KK 24 hr and the dr informed me that i was just reacting to the medication given and prescribed some anti-nausea pills...i recovered after that and survived on soups mainly for the next couple of days....i thought i would require another week of MC until the bloodtest, but i was much better a week after the ET and was bored staying at home so i was back at work on Monday.....Went for my BT this morning and the nurse just called to inform me that its a BFP for me....so all i want to say to you ladies is hang in there, dont worry too much and be positive

i jus checked, mine is 285.9...so when will be ur 6wks scan? everything will be very fast w/o u even notice
 
Er, my HCG was 8326 on Day 22...very high! And i think it was linda who first said that i might be having multiples..she was right of course.

Assuming it doubled every 2-3 days, you can count backwards..
 
hi Hazel...yup, not necessarily everyone with many eggs will get OHSS...there may be a risk, but not necessarily everyone will get...according to dr loh, the record number of eggs extracted was 80+ and the person did not get OHSS too.....

Wow....thanks for sharing...its really good if we can retrieve alot of follicles without getting OHSS....are u still v young? Or did u take extra protein prior to yr program?
 
thanks, rostrum...i'm 30 this year and all i took is egg white...2 egg whites a day during stage 1 and 3 egg whites a day during stage 2...dunno if this helped....
 
january. I hv been eating egg white since stage 1 daily also. now in stage 2 I hv up it to 4 daily. My Gf takes lots of egg white also n got 20eggs. Also no ohss n she ate lots of eggs.
 
hello happy, i had 3 pregnyl injections after ET.. each given every 3 days apart.. u having the same injection i suppose, cos we both had less than 15 eggs retreived...
 
hi rainstone, i have 4 pregnyl injections and oso i have to take progynova pills everyday. maybe my eggs are of lousy quality...haiz...
 

Rostrum, the chocolate ensure milk is not sweet.
I have been having cough for the past 2 weeks since starting lucrin injection. Went to see GP, told them I am doing IVF, so they gave me the normal black coug mixture bu after 2 weeks, still not recover leh.. hope can recover soon before the ER.
