My gynae didn't suggest hysteroscopy but am interested to know more. Have you done hysteroscopy or planning to do so?
I haven't done it yet. According to my doc, it will be a detailed scope to examine if there is any lining problems, like polys or adhesions. If yes, they will remove them concurrently.

Hi Sisters ! Thanks for all the advise ! Monday just removal the polyps . The doctor said after this procedure when we urine got some blood ? May I know it will last how Long ? The doctor said this two weeks no exercise and don’t take any Folic acid or any supplement yet ?
I Had my polyps removal on Tuesday, still bleeding daily. I wasn’t told to stop folic acid though.

Recovery time should be quite quick, within a week mostly. Doctor asked me to see him once next period to start FET. But I will assess If my body is ready by then.
Best to proceed with fet in coming cycle if possible! I was told the uterus is most receptive when recovering. I did fet the cycle after an op, and succeeded. Good luck!

Usually once we removal the polyps , will it grown back ? So is it alright to start my IVF in Nov?
It depends on the individual, some grow back within a few months, while some others don't grow back. If conditions are suitable, I would think the earlier you start, the better. But of course provided you feel ready!

Usually for govt hospital, 1st day of mens to call the clinic then start to go down for scan/blood test/purchase injection or medication for abt 4 times on different day, after that embryo retrieval and transfer. Total about 6 times to drop by hospital. For normal visits can go down at 8am then return to office around 9plus or 10am. Talk to your supervisor if u can report at work later?
Hi ! Tks for the advise . Usually when we start the IVF process , which day go to scan etc example , menses come then which day go down , then what day go down again ? The whole IVF process is 14 days from our menses start ?Sorry also what do you mean normal visit go down at 8 am ?

Who is your doctor?
Better to stick to your original doctor appointment. Plus you need to q to attend the ivf briefing/counselling cos due to covid got limited couples to attend this briefing so I not sure if you can start ivf in Nov. Plus Dec I heard ivf lab is closed. Better discuss with your doctor first.

You can start anytime as long as you’re ready + your chosen IVF facility is available.

Since you’ve just removed your polyps, you can continue to try naturally upon recovery.

I just did my polyp removal today and while waiting for my appointment and all clear from doctor to start my ET, can I try naturally too? I was told not to dtd for 2 weeks but my next O cycle is in about 8 days maybe? Will that be fine? Hoping to try before my ET.

And also, what is the interval for each ET? Thanks!

After ER, you can do the FET on your second menses onwards.

From what I know best to start BD only after next menses for polyp removal as might have risk of infection if you try too soon and also more time for your lining to build up well again.

Alright thanks! In that case next menses could be my ET already if the biopsy and all is good..

Yah nurse said is common side effects but was vomiting the whole day and didn't expect it to be so bad for this round. Previous cycle totally no side effects at all.
I didn't experience vomiting though.. did nurse say its common? Mayb every cycle is different, as long as the nurses say its fine it should be!

My doctor did ask me to try naturally after removal, but bleeding/spotting must clear first.

Hi all, anyone with eggs retrieved and none to transfer?

I just did a long cycle and got 4 eggs harvested out of 8 follicles. They r not so good eggs and likely will not proceed with trf.

How many of the 4 eggs got fertilised? Read somewhere that the first 3 days of embryo growth is predominantly dependent on egg quality, while day 4 onwards is chromosomal issues (egg and/or sperms). Maybe can consider Day 2 early transfer / freezing to overcome the risk of development arrest resulting in nothing to transfer. And if you have low AMH, don’t give up! The exact antral follicle count varies every month and maybe you can wait for the month where you have the highest cause I feel that it’s an indication of harvest rate for that cycle.

All got fertilised but they r fragmented and at this pt in time, no one is good for trf, even at D2.

It is devastating.

Hi ladies any good tcm (chinese medicine) recommendations that are specialised in fertility treatments? Preferably in the east but open to all.

Hi ladies! Starting my first ivf cycle soon.

Just wondering if we can still do our regular workout or exercise during stimulation phase and after ET? Is it safe to swim, jog or do yoga?

None transfer for my 1st fresh cycle. 2 embryo reach blastocycsts at D7 but unable to grade. So nothing to transfer. Waiting for my 2nd fresh next month.

The prohibitions after ET are akin to after IUI-transfer. Only non-strenuous exercises like light jog to prevent impact, but definitely not gymming. Swimming is fine but no hot bath tub / jacuzzi / sauna. The nurses will give you a list of dos and don’ts.
