IVF/ICSI Support Group


Hi,
I had endoscratch on Monday, n had spotting n cramps that day. Tues was almost like no more spotting. But spotting came back on Wed, n getting more n more. N now is already Saturday. I felt as though like menses is coming soon. But I m on mercilon for 2 cycles, not supposed to have menses yet. Called Nuh CHR, they told me not to worry, is OK to have mild bleeding/spotting. Anyone experienced that too?
Kinda worried, as I read most ppl only had spotting for 2 to 3 days.
 
Hi, can I check for those under dr Roland Chiang and have Lucrin injection and managed to bfp. Can I check is there special diet that you all eat?

Cause during this period, like cannot go TCM also.

Cause TCM will give medicine like before and after ovulation.

Now with no ovulation, like no need to see TCM?

I did go to tcm for a about a month, but the doc says the meds is more to nourish as menses are stopped.. I did stop 2 months before the transfer.. so I think the BFP is not related to tcm

No acupuncture, no special diet, just no cold drinks. I didn’t take much cold drinks during ttc period anyways

I havent log in for some time. Is there a change to the forum? Something seems to be wrong? Like a few keywords search that is unlikely to generate no results generated no results. For e.g. I search 'blastocyst'. It generates no results.

I think kena upgraded recently .. what a mess. But searching works for me, maybe you can try again.

You have to go down to KKH to sign consent forms to release your frozen embryos to Royal Square (he's not going to Mt E), after which THH's new clinic will have to take care of the logistics to transport your frozen embryos to his lab. The cost wise you have to check with the new clinic. Releasing embryos from KKH is approximately S$120, admin fee.

Royal Square? Where is Royal Square? His new clinic name? Are you following him there?

Oh then to sign the consent forms,does it need to be done when he’s still in KKH or can it be done any time?
 
Dr THH new clinic is called Alpha International Women's Specialists Singapore located at 101 Irrawaddy Road, #12-12, Royal Square At Novena, Singapore 329565, Tel: 6860 8888, he told me his consultation fee will be same as KKH private patients. Procedure and delivery fee i not sure yet as he will be at the new place starting from 1 Nov so i will check with him during my next visit in Nov. He can deliver at TMC, MT A and MT E.
 
Started my medicated FET in sept thinking i should have sufficient time for Transfer before thh leave kkh. Now i am racing against time cos i did not know i need to take so much meds :(((

My D14 scan on monday is 5.9mm and i need min 7mm before transfer and my next scan is thurs. Hopefully i have at least 1.5mm lining growth.

Other than red bean, pomegranate what else is helpful? Need to spam this 2 days.

Think you need to stay zen...the more you feel anxious, the slower the growth. It's always like that.

Some people suggested soy milk, eggs, protein shakes etc but none worked for me.. if it grows, it grows.. staying zen definitely is useful. Are u trying for your second baby?

Did he say those patients of his that disdt follow him will the cases be given to specific doctor or any doctor?

same lining as mine.wanted to cancel.but thh had faith in it and proceeded with et with plenty of meds support.i obviously no faith in it. but bcoz he believed in it i just followed thru. And that thin lining of mine managed to support my last emby that turned out to be my 21 mths lo. Just have faith and dont bother. have a zen atitude which what i did and probably worked out.all the best.gdluck.

if you have frozen embryos and would like to transfer to THH’s new clinic, it’s FOC!
You may proceed to his new clinic and they can prepare the transfer document for you accordingly.

Yes I know. But it’s the procedure costs that will be killer. I am going to call in to visit him in November. In meantime, I’ve already made appointment with Dr Sadhana. When I called in KKH, they said THH’s cases will be handed over to Dr Liu.

Ahhh! Ok Thanks dear! I spammed red bean and whatever bean stuff i could have my hands on. I suddenly couldnt stomach beef for some reason or maybe i was just scarred by the bad quality ones haha. Yes i am trying for #2, the plan was not so fast but when i heard thh is moving and i thought ok maybe try first and i did not expect the cycle to be so long that now its a mad rush against time. Yes i am trying to zen!!

Oh wow! You mean you proceeded with 5.9mm? I had my scan yesterday and THANK GOD its 7.1mm maybe its the telling myself its ok and trying to zen or maybe its the red beans. but yes i had such a scare during my fresh and now i think back, yes being calm would have been useful tho sometimes the meds makes us a lill cray. So many challenges to overcome, lining and now hoping the embryo survives the thaw and tsf next Tue. Fingers crossed!

if its fresh yes! cos no cofunding. For FET THH said will be the same as KKH but KKH has cofunding so minimal out of pocket cash. if i BFP i will ask THH what are the procedure to transfer my records over. Hoping he has package at his new clinic.

Transfer to THH's new clinic is free, admin fee to transfer out from KKH is about $120.

Does his new clinic do PGS/PGD?

I was told he will tsf for free and store it in line with your expiry at KKH. I help you find out the storage fee :)

Wow i din know KKH will charge to tsf out.
 
yah i didn’t know KKH will charge to transfer out.
THH said his Nov schedule is almost full. His clinic is already helping him to book appointments even though he starts on 1st Nov.

Woah thats fast! hahaha so just call the clinic and get appointments for him?
 

Just did ET. Was told by kkh that thh will come back and do the procedure these 3 days thats why i proceeded with the thaw cycle at kkh.

End up 1mins before the procedure, they told me it will be dr jerry doing

I feel like kkh really disregards patients request or even consider patients feelings.

I dont know if its a miscomm by kkh and kkh just overpromise or thh just bail out
