Peanut, all the best, catching your baby dust! For kkh they call around 3hrs later somewhere before lunch. Cause my bt is negative so they normally advise me aptm date for doc review over phone.
 


Hi @sushma, don't worry about the procedures..sure it all seems daunting and i myself have had lamented about the injections after injections, but you will soon realise that you will have the strength you never though you would have.. In fact, reading successful stories and how many of our sisters have had to go through so much will just inspire us and motivate us to have that miracle in our hands some day..snd i bet your hubby will love you even more to see you go through so much pain. Just think positive and have confidence in yourself!

@jklim4642 Thank you for sharing your knowledge..ive always wondered whether genetic testing is allowed in Singapore...i've had a miscarriage in 2010 due to chromosomal issue..even if BFP for me today, i know i'm not out of the woods yet considering my history of miscarriage and infections until at least 20 weeks according to my previous gynae..
 
I was given two tablets pill to take before endo scratch procedure. Any girls who did the scratch before given this pill? Take on the day itself 2-3hrs before.

I BFP with that (one 8 cell one 3 cell). no bleeding whatsoever.. but on my first scan at AMC, no foetal pole nor heartbeat were detected. Went for 2nd, 3rd and lastly 4th scan, still nothing inside my gestational sac except for a yolk sac. The gestational sac was growing bigger and bigger at each scan. My vomitting and nausea got very bad, with HCG of 50,000+.

I just did my D&C last Fri at 8th week. I am slowly recovering, and recuperating so I can start my next FET again with my last 2 remaining embryos. Ive cried lots, and vomitted lots so i was dehydrated :S

Dont despair ladies, we will have the little one in our arms very soon.

Baby sparkles , u are so strong ... I am thinking of starting my 2nd fresh next month but I'm so afraid of failure.... Mentally taxing n stressed
 
Hi tsf, I was suppose to come at d21 of my cycle to do the scratch then the following month will be my frozen cycle. When I see my doc I told him actually I cannot really remember my 1st full flow so I told him my ovulation date instead (I tested with opk) so he schedule the scratch 6days after my positive opk. How about yours?
 
Hi ladies, its a BFN for me today.. I guess it TCM and FET for me next since i have 5 snowbabies waiting...any of you ladies care to advise how soon shall the FET be if i opt for medicated instead of natural FET? If medicated, what are the procedures?

I am doing natural frozen cycle. Have regular cycles always. But this month maybe too stress. D23 today still hv not ovulated though scan show big follicle n good lining... follicle was growing slowly though. Review dr said to continue scanning n use ovulation kit at home though i feel like aborting this cycle. Dunno when is ET yet since hv not ovulated.

I am a long time patient of KKIVF for 4 yrs. My previous dr was sf loh. I followed him to tmc then now returned to kkh for FET. Saw Dr tan who was covering dr loh last time when he was on conference. I bleed easily at ET or any procedure.. even under dr loh.

Well, why shld i take someone more junior n less experienced? Given my record, is always attended to by senior drs. They see my file they know. Then again, i dunno if dr S will do for me though staff nurse said shld be no prob since i rrequested for it.

vivian_lee, jklim4642, I am with Dr Lau, personally i find his skill is ok. If you really have no choice but stuck with him, then try to trust him. it is important to have trust in the Dr..

Dear sisters, confirm gg to postpone my cycle. Tcm says success rate will be v low as sperm quality is nt good...
Gonna take this period to tiao my body... To all other sisters who r cycling or gg to cycle, all the best!!!
 
tsf, you can consider asking your hb to do sperm freezing. Although his sperm is 0% morphology, it does not mean everytime is 0%. By doing freezing, at least you have backup in case no healthy sperm is found in the fresh sample. Just a suggestion. :)
 
Hi sista, need some advise, I did my first fresh ivf but failed then done a fet and failed also, both fresh n fet is using very good grade embryo. I stil left 2 nt very gd one, I was thinking shld I use it or give up the journey since I already got a 3 yrs old kid. im nt young too.. 37 this yr.

i would say GO ALL OUT FOR IT! since you still have 2 left why not try the last time before you decide to give up now. at least a better closure if this 2 trf still fail. But you never know. some of the sisters succeeded from the 2nd try with lower quality compare to their 1st attempt.

you need to consult doc too to see if any risks concern if you preg now. most important dont risk your own health as you mention you still got a 3yr old child with you.

yup can try to freeze your hb sperm for a few rounds then they can check for you if the contents is good. at least once you know the % inside is ready for an ivf then you can schedule yourself your treatment. and on day where your partner need to produce during er if none was good, the doc can use the frozen one.

i dont know if my body is ready for fet that fast. my doc say can do but dont know whether if this is really the best time. when my fresh fail in dec i got my menses, and then i check for ovulation myself, everything seems to be right on path, no delay in o from date of menses. so i am waiting for my menses to report again and i can start calling hospital to arrange fet already.

y not give it one more last try.... if health condition allows anything is possible....

my period pain stopped after 5 days am worried now... how weird... am now day 22 waiting for menses to start round 2! take care ladies

Mag08 I have endo but dont knw stage what. Did dr loh say u had stage 4?? I am awaiting for my lap on 3 feb to clear endo n cysts. I have adeno as well and my periods land me in dying stage at hospital. When I went for lap on 2010 I only had 1 dermoid cyst. After the lap i developed adeno. Do u think scarrjng cud have caused this. Docs say adeno no cure. But I have read sisters with adeno have managed to conceive as well. That gives me abit of hope. How to ensure womb never scar after lap. What invasive method was used to check? Did u manage to conceive after dr loh lap? U controlled yr diet n hw soon u conceived? Dr tan in kkh doing my lap n he said he will put me on 3 mth lucrin jab n start ivf then.
 
I am going to see dr fong at nuh tomorrow to ensure lap is required. Coz I am really at loss wat to do. If lap is a necessary evil to cure my pain then I will have to do it even if it lower amh. Haizzzz just praying for best now.
 
Womb scar can be fixed. At least this is wat dr loh told me. I had 2 d&c fr miscarriages. After i recovered he sent me for invasive scan to check if my womb scar after d&c. HE said if there was, he will fix it before ivf. Dr Loh is super skilled n gentle in d&c procedure. But still he said better check to make sure is fine since i scar easily!
 
Is common for women to get keloid scar down there if they go thru natural delivery w epidosomy. I told dr loh m worried i will get keloid down there. He asked me not to spoil his reputation! He is also a good "seamstress"! Haha

Wow! U remembered me! Doing natural FET this mth as i.have regular 28 days menses. But this mth dunno why, today d24 still hv not ovulated! Already used up 2 boxes of ovulation kit and now on the last stick of the 3rd box! So tiring to keep going down for scans too... haiz...
 
After seeking dr sf loh's views just now, i have decided to abort this cycle n do medicated FET next mth. I should have sought his advice earlier!
 
Hee Hazel we were cycle buddies b4! Glad tat Dr Loh gave you gd advise. Personally I would do medicated too. More controlled less uncertainty.

I do not want to load myself with so many hormones pills. I was not confident tt dr loh will reply me since i m doing FET w kkh n not w him though i m sure he knows who i m. I shld hv asked him earlier instead of wasting so much time going down for scans.

R u still planning for more kids?

I am sorry to hear that you have such painful periods. It isn't easy coping with that. I can totally relate. I was diagnosed as stage 4 a long time ago, in the 2000 at SGH. It wasn't SF loh. It was another doctor. I was in my early 20s,and had no idea what endo was at that time. He told me I have stage 4 endo. I don't know how he came to that conclusion that I had stage 4, perhaps due to the extent of the endo found in the system when he did the laparatomy at that time. They even had to scrap off part of my right ovary, so actually, I only had one functioning ovary after that. Surgeries are a double edged sword. I can tell you that only after I did my laparatomy in 2000 that I developed a lot of pain with bowel issues. I had severe pain with bowel movement the kind of pain that can make one faint. I never had that before the laparatomy. But then again laparatomy is a major surgery unlike laparascopy and maybe with that all endo in my system, scarring and ahesions occured. But then in 2009 when I did the laparascopy under sf loh, he cleared up the endo as much as he could. It wasn't invasive. I did the lap in feb 2009 and 2 months later in April 2009, I conceived. In terms of my diet control, that was a long process. I became vegetarian in 2001 and then controlled my diet like have no chocolates or soda, etc since 2004. I believe that the lap is what helped me conceive together with eating royal jelly with bee pollen and bee propolis. When I was trying to conceive my 2nd child again I took royal jelly and all that for several months again and then conceived her. I think that lap will be good for you esp if you have severe pain. It is impt that you have the lap done by someone very experience like Dr loh. Another friend of mine who suffered from endo also had difficulty conceiving. She too went for lap and then 1 month later she conceived. I am not saying that with lap, everyone with endo will definitely conceive but it is worth a shot to do lap if you are in severe pain and IVF does not seem to work. Sometimes some of us have so many challenges stacked up against us I had severe endo, poor low ovarian reserve, poor response to IVF medications and only one functioning ovary, but somehow I beat the odds. And you can too! Good luck with your lap.
 
I really wonder whats going on to this mth menstrual cycle. Triple uterus lining came back and follicle hit 20.5 mm. But no LH surge yet on ovulation kit! Today is d25 already!!

Baby sparkles, we decided to postpone as

1) my first cycle only manage to retrieve 4eggs, 3 fertilized, 2 survived...
2) tcm says that if sperm quality not good, the egg may fertilize but will affect the chances of implantation later on. Or, the egg may not even fertilize.
3) DH morph 0%

As each cycle don't come cheap, and give grant only 3 times... So I hope that things will get better with tcm before I embark my next fresh. Will not give up!!
 
From wat i understand, unless there's no sperm. If not male fertility issue will be addressed by ivf. Theses always ivf w ICIS where the sperms r manually injected into the egg for fertilization
 
Tsf, do what you think is the best.like other sister here memtioned, maybe your hubby can do acupuncture and take some tcm medicine to increase the sperm count. If the sperm count increase, the embryologist maybe able to find few soldier with normal shape to do the icsi. My hubby morphology is 3%, after take tcm the morphology is still 3% but the count increase, so it means the quantity of the 3% also increase, that time the lab put a remarks as a normal sperm. So I believe if the count increase, your chance to get a normal shape also up

gigi, thanks for asking. No good news yet. Haha. Good to know your pain has stopped. Maybe your menses won't come for the next 9 months! ;)
 
Mag08 thanks for your reply. Dr loh did my lap in oct 2010. But the next menses in dec super pain. Later in 2011 adeno formed. I totally agree dr loh is the best but due to insurance am doing with dr hhtan. No clue how good he is with lap. Just pray.
 
Tsf sisters herr are right. Out of million sperms need just one. So increasing count is good and with ivf thinknu ahud not worry about troops. Coz of my iui I worried abt troops. U can try dr que at marine parade to check on yr hubby. Dont stress gal. All will be fine.
 
Sisters I just saw dr fong in nuh. He said the same thing as dr tan. Lap to remove cysts n endo. Leave adeno aside. Right ovary high so stitch it lower so tat can retrieve eggs. Tats it. So feb 3 gonna lap with dr tan rest 10 weeks n try hard hard for my horse baby hehe. All the best sisters.
 
Ladies, I wish to share my dh's experience. He was initially diagnosed severe infertility - 1% morphology and mortility. We were devastated. We were based overseas then and the gynae straight away recommended DH to see a urologist to do a prostate check as she says low morphology is linked to prostate. So dh went to see a urologist. All along, he has complains of lower back ache and groin aches and so the urologist did a prostate check using fingers to insert and feel. sounds grossed I know. Dh even said it was very painful. But urologist could feel that dh's prostate was inflamed and also said its the reason for his lower back and groin ache. He actually squeezed dh's prostate to reduce the inflammation. He then prescribed antibiotics which is a steroid for a course of 2 weeks. After that, came back to urologist for a "2nd squeeze" which he said was less inflamed. Then another 2 weeks of steroids. After that DH went for another sperm analysis, and to our astonishment, the morphology was back to normal. I cant remember what the % went up to, but all was normal already. For those whose DH has low morphology, you can check out a urologist to rule out prostate problems first.

If my memory serves me right, yr EDD was supposed to be aft CNY but was early so ended up b4 cny?

Dr Loh is indeed a v good seamstress, he stitched up my wound down there v well. Recovered fast n no scar. I also emailed him for advice whether to do my fet with him or KKH. To my surprise, he replied within hours n asked me to stick to KKH. No pt transferring 2 frozen embryos. Cleared up my doubts instantly

Yes, belle is her nick name! U hv a good memory. She was delivered on 3rd of cny, 4 wks early! so still a dragon bb!
 

I've a boy from my fresh cycle. He was a jun 2012 bb so a couple of mths younger than belle.
I just did my ET last fri w dr Sad, KKH. In my 2ww now. Days go by so slowly... Hoping to be 2nd time lucky.
Else will do another fresh a few mths down the road.
