hi ronniemini I am in my 2ww now

hi flowers how's ur stim? How many days to go? Im not hoping much for this cycle due to my sickness. However still pray I will BFP. Still coughing but not as bad as last week. We just can do our best but God knows what d best for us. The ivf journey to BFP is not easy....

Good morning, 12bmom!

Yes, that's what the doctor said. Thaw all and culture to blastocyst and put in the best two. I can't remember what grade they are... I was too concern with thawing all or a portion of it. :S But doctor kept telling me I've got good embbies. What grades are considered good?

What is medicated FET? What's the difference? I am now going to build up my body. Very kiasu. Taking multi-vites and TCM too!
 
Hazel, some ppl will feel lower abs bloated heavy meaning lotsa follicles .... but I no feel ... not even sure if I am responding well to the meds

Taking dr zou's meds at the same time, wonder if it will affect my response .... argggh

ladies! ive just started on my Suprefact yesterday! Weeee.....

but funnily at night i got bloated tummy and a lot of gas, maybe cos i ate stale food that evening! from now on must remember not to eat anyhow! :S
 
Flowers u r only on d5 stim, usually bloat starts d7 or d8.

I start to hv slight bloat fm d8 stim, until now stil slight bloat only. I hv 25 follicles but many small ones. Going to hv hcg tonite, sad that my smaller follicles didnt catch up. My fertilisation sure no gd as many yet mature.

Hazel, normal not to bloat during stim? Tdy wake up looks like my bloat subside abit. Hv been hving sore throat n flu for the past few days. Feel like it has affected my follicle growth cos last scan my follicle not growing fast
 
Perper, not everyone will bloat from stimulation. Dub worry abt ur flu affecting the quality. My gf was sick during cycling n on antibiotic too! She has grade 5 embyros retrieved u know n strike twins. So, it does not mean ur follicles quality will be affected if u r sick. Think positive! JIA YOU!

An ultrasound at five or six weeks of pregnancy can better predict a good pregnancy outcome than any number of beta tests. As a note, you won't expect to see a gestational sac or the fetus until the HCG level reaches at least 1,200 mIU/ml. And you probably won't see a heartbeat until that level reaches at least 6,000 mIU/ml.

got my official results today 581 and 1st scan on wed 29 Jun - another long wait ahead.

bloat better now but afternoons & early mornings like 2-3am are the worst when the bloat get so bad that i can't even sit down. how abt yours?
 
hazel, thks for ur reassurance. i can't help but feeling quite negative esp. i was feeling down ever since i started my ivf journey, probably due to hormones & dh not considerate enough. & now is my body not cooperative, falling sick at the wrong time, follicles didn't grow v well, etc...haiz

Amelia, different hospital different meds/protocol. Where are you doing fet?

Koirc, I do artificial thaw (medicated fet) cycle with KKH. My protocol for day 3 transfer.

cd1: af report
cd4-8: 2 tabs of progynova
cd9-14: 3 tabs of progynova
cd15: 1st ultrascan*
cd17: 2nd ultarsound*
After et: progestrones inserts 3x a day
17days after et: hcg bt

*If optimal lining thickness is achieved (>8mm), proceed et 3days later.

Shainie, *wave* the nurse estimate et on 28Jun. Cant wait ;P

Sisters in KKH, how did you all know so much? Did the nurse/doctor at KKH "educated" all of you or you just simply read up? Again, I feel that SGH doesn't provide as much information. Sometimes I still feel very lost and have to google some of the terms you all wrote in this forum! Haha...

Both sides of my butt area are very itchy and a little swollen from the twice weekly proluton and pregnyl jabs. Can't help but scratch....dunno if I am sensitive to the plaster after each jab or the medication. The rashes will spread all around the area. Anyone experience this?
 
Koirc, b4 we start ivf.. we need attend briefing session with doc. It include ppt presentation, Q&A session & signing of consent form. We also undergo 2hrs counseling session. The protocol for different procedure are brief by the nurse when embark the journey. Most of the info i get is through research on the Internet & learn from other sisters who gone through ivf/fet. You need to ask ques if not, they won't koe u dunno.
 
Shaine, I left with only 3 embbies. If all survive thaw, I transfer all of them. Dr Loh say survival rate is 60% so I hoping for the best! When is your hcg bt? Sorry, I didn't read earlier post.. Are u doing fresh or fet? Transfer how many?

Hello *flowers, I also taking Dr Zou tcm too but I find it very heaty so I reduce to 1x a day instead of 2. Very tedious to eat so many things. Immunocal, conceive well, folic acid, coq10, tcm & progynova. I tinking of eating egg-white after 1st scan, si bei kiasu tis time.. Ha!
