IVF/ICSI - cycle buddies

Dear all sisters (too many names to mention, sorry ah)

Last nite went for a scan, arrive airport at 10.10pm and tau pau some vege soup when reach. Went home and put luggage and eat vege soup. Went to clinic around 11.15pm.

Doc do V-scan around 8 minutes(i'm around 5 weeks plus now) and ..... I'm so nervous. Before scan, he keep asking my mum to come in. Then only when my mum come in, then he start his scan). First, he scan 1st bb, then he say, well, this is no.1, let us move the other side, then this is no.2. Doc says "Congrats you have TWINS !!"

Then he scan again, and we saw two sacs/embries. Too early for heartbeat. Need to come back again three weeks later (during 8th week). So be flying back again here!

It's rather late last nite, and doc needs to put his kids to bed. As I got list of questions to ask him, and need to go back again today to ask him.

Zillion thanks to all sisters here, as u all had been very supportive since my treatment till now. You all will fullfill your motherhood dreams and join us at MTB soon

Anyone here taking royal jelly during IVF treatment? I have been taking royal jelly for a while, as it reduces my menstral cramp during AF, and heard it is good for the body. But not sure if I should continue to take it when I start treatment.

Just had the Pregnyl jab ... on my ...BUTTOCKS!
Actually, like Edel, it was more of the high dosage of Pregnyl that kind of hurt ... BUt guess what, after the squealing, its over ... heheh .. just imagine a naughty lingering pinch from your hubby lor.

Just had a heart to heart talk with my hubby and also prayed together again. Felt a burden lifted. Of course, we did pray about it before we embarked on the IVF cycle, but now that we are moving on to the next stage, i felt jitters, like are we doing something against God's will... And my hubby shared that no matter what, God is with us, and we should leave it to Him, as we have promised to surrender this to Him right from the start. Coming in to rationalise is like trying to control the situation again and not trusting Him. After all, every pregnancy, is a miracle. The doctor is just His instrument.

Bodhi: Is it possible that the Lucrin jab, which has brought down your E2 level that is making u feel moody and lousy? THats how i felt when they removed the 2 cysts from my ovaries, and my E2hormone level dropped from 2000++ to 69.

This morning dun koe what happen to my hb, he claimed that I am very moody since the minutes i step out from the room. When I log in, he said, "your mensus is here or not here?, if it is not here, then you call LC and ask (he forgot today is Sunday.) and if it is here, we can't do anything. ok?"

But the way, I feel he talked to me is not concern, but is "questioning", I really dislike his tone, like I have done something wrong. I also very sian and tired to say anything to him, so just keep quiet.

Today is CD31 liao, I very nervous dun koe what happened, becos no mensus and no BFP... (tested on Friday), I really dun want to waste any more pregancy kit. Sigh.

So sorry posting such moody words in such beautiful Sunday morning.

AF will sure come soon. Dun let this affect your mood hor, it's such a beautiful sunday. I am so lazy that I din want to go for my Yoga today and my hubby also forgo his morning football session. Just enjoy the day and forget it. They are playing hide and seek.

2WW = 2 wait week.
AF = Aunty Flow.

Will you be on Lucrin? For me, i inject it myself. I dont really feel the pain. The needle is quite short and thin. In fact, you don't feel any if you do it correctly and at the right place.

The clinic doctor or nurse will demo on you how to do the injection, just relax and see how things is done.
