Hi my husband a Malaysian was barred from entering sg as he was convicted and release from jail on Feb 2016. I was 5 months pregnant when he left sg n now our bb is 3months old he stil can't return not even on social pass despite all kinds of appeal with Ica n mp I did. I am having a tough time struggling alone with kids n need urgent advise on how to allow my husband to return sg asap TIA

What is d reason 4 him 2 b barred fr entering SG? If it's cos of him being convicted, den it wld b dependent on what crime was he convicted. He may never b allowed 2 enter SG due 2 his record.

A lawyer once advise he may be allow to return after 3 or 5yr but there's no any confirmation. Got a mp volunteer even advise me to divorce my hub. I can't live in Malaysia cos my parents, kids n business are in Singapore.
If lawyer advise you he isn't allow to come sg for 3-5 years, then during this period, no matter what, you can't have him come to Singapore. Especially even ICA don't approve...
The MP volunteer is not a very good suggestion though. But tiggerpooh suggestion is better.
However if you can't stay in Malaysia cause of parents/kids and business, then nothing can be done.

If u are charge at least u will know how long is ur sentence. For my hub case Ica don't reveal when he can come bk. Me n my kids are born n bred here we can't just move to Malaysia. Anyone have similar case to advise. Urgent n having hard time

If as u have mentioned, if u r finding it tough struggling alone wif your kids, den u have 2 really decide which is more impt 2 u n d kids... biz or him?
I know it does sounds kinda harsh, but u cant really have d whole cake n eat it, knowing dat there is not other way? U have 2 think of d long run... even if after 3 yrs or so, he may b able 2 visit, but he wont b granted long term visitation.

From the sound of it, if ICA not giving you an affirmative date, it could well mean a long long time.
Since your husband is barred from entering Sg. There's only one obvious option. You move. You can choose to commute to and fro, while keeping an eye on your business and still be close to your parents )
I do have a Johorean frd who is helping in her family's business in JB, her husband and child are in Sg. She commutes back and forth.
