What's the power for the Kitty hand blender? I have a Braun one which is similar at 400W, used it on lowest setting to whip my cheesecake filling today & seems ok. So perhaps if the power range is similar and used for whisking stuff like this or omelette/pancake mix it won't be a total white elephant
Can also use the chopper & puree tools for other types of food prep for bb!

angel.. the blender is only 300W.. juz now i went to harvey norman.. most of the blenders there are like 1000w leh.. haha.. hubby says will buy me a phillips one lohz.. then i muz paste my own hk stickers liaoz.. keke

Hand blenders cannot compete with those heavy duty ones that are 1000W in terms of power. They can merely replace having to manually whip light stuff like omelettes, cheesecake, pancakes/waffle batter etc. You will need a Kenwood if you want to bake Sponge/Chiffon type cakes as the cake batter needs sufficient air to rise properly for end result to be light & fluffy
