Hi I wld like to find out if any of you have been prescribed asumalife before. It's a tonic to prevent asthma and allergy with minimal side effects presumably.

Can share your experiences / advise or recommendations? Thanks

I don't think Asumalife is a tonic. The active ingredient in there is Ketotifen Fumarate.

This is Asumalife:

And info about the active ingredient:

My boys have been prescribed Asumalife by the PD before, typically when they have long bouts of cough and there is still the little cough that cannot go away. Normally they are told to take it for 2 weeks but I would stop the medication once their condition improves. The PD usually prescribes Asumalife together with other medication like ProSpan or Rhinathiol and also Singulair, depending on the condition. But after taking about 3 days, can see big improvement in my boys condition.

My son has been prescribed with asumalife too. Was also told by a simple term is lung tonic.
I'm wondering if there's any side effects if taken for say 3 months?

How does it actually help
