my friend's son couldnt talk even though he was almost three. they sent him for various check-ups and with early intervention, he is communicating okay now.

My nephew was also so slow at talking last time tapi sekarang tak boleh stop. Hahahaha... Memang ada budak yang lambat cakap. Ada yang lambat jalan. Need to just be patient and doa banyak-banyak.

ya my child dah gone thru alot of tests and scans but nothing is to be found. doc never say late bloomer, she just smile wen i ask why..
ya doc is refering my child for early intervention.. it does work is it? how long does yr fren's child take in that programme then he start to talk...

btw, naddy and mademoiselle, yr fren yg ade anak late bloomer, dia ade maen internet tak? ingat nak kenal2.. hehe..

i'm glad to hear that all tests show that your child is okay! i purposely left out one main detail in my previous post about my fren's child cos i dont want you to get worried unnecessarily if you haven't gone for all those tests and scans.

my friend's son is autistic.

he's 4+ now and alhamdulillah, he is showing improvement. when i talk to him, he can respond and he doesnt engage in repetitive actions. he just doesnt smile much. from your interaction with him, you wont guess he's autistic. then again, autistic kids dont look abnormal in any way.

so, for your child, nur, continue engaging him/her (son or daughter ah?) and s/he will soon open up. insya Allah.

Ade problem sikit so want to seek opinion la. My mom and sis notice yang my maid ade hati kat my hb...HAH... takut kan.... si maid always want to sit at doorwary of playroom when palying with kids so that my hb is in her line of sight when he is watching tv in living room.... even my nenek notice she curik curik pandang my hb. My hb ni tak la gantang sangat.. tapi kalau buruk pun kite punye kan..

Last weekend, my niece ajak si maid main kat kitchen, mati mati dia tak nak.. sampai budak tu nangis.

This maid already work with me for 3 mths, she can work. Before her I had 2 lousy and lazy maids that worked for me for only 3-4 weeks before i sent them back to agent. So now if i take another new maid it will be my 4th within these few months... sekali dapat yg teruk lagi..hai.. now MOM ade ruling kan, kalau take more than 4 maid in one year they will investigate.. pening la.

But i openly discuss this with hubby yesterday and agreed he will minimise contact with her. Tapi tak best la kan now we not comfy in our own home.

Will call ageny today to ask them to advise her... Camne..what you all punye opinion.. si maid maid ni pun.. tak sadar dir...

maybe, you want to rearrange the furniture in the living room such that there's no way people in the playroom can see the one in the living room?

So jgn la pikir byk2. Anyway, since kalo nk rest easy, u antar je Far pi those clinic kalo yr doc ada refer her for early intervention.

Actually its true, memang bingit having a maid but my mum not well and i have to work la and also malas kan nak do housework..so i have to live with it.

I think i will have to change maid.. its a gamble i have to take..pasal i pikir pikir.. all men are subject to temptation.. so better not take the risk...

Actually my old maid, before i end up with the 3 screw ups, bagus tau but she had to go back last Aug bec her daughter kena bird flu. Time tu i just gave birth baru satu minggu... so i pujuk pujuk dia to stay until i get replacement. Then the new maid can only come in after 3 weeks gitu... after new maid datang si old maid pun balik la.... but she arrive at home only to find out her daughter passed away 4 days before she come back... i tell you.. i so menyesal you know.. guilty sangat.. I hantar la duit cover hospital semua... mungkin sakarang i dapat balasan agak ye... nasib nasib...

BTW nur, my nephew pun 5 years old baru cakap. masa dia pegi nursery pun dia belum tau cakap... sound sound aje so kite always macam main charade la dgn dia. Tapi end of last year he started to talk and he talks in complete sentences...ok kan

i have a maid now, have had her for almost 9mths. so far so good, she is excellent and i feel very good having her to help us.

if i were you, i would change maids straight away. yes, you may get a worse maid, but this is a risk you must be willing to take. for me, i will not take any chances if i suspect that my maid ada hati for my hubby. this is something i will not tolerate, and it's something i don't want to "wait-and-see" to find out what will happen, etc. i also think trying to talk to the maid is useless, because i don't think it will achieve anything, and i doubt you can make your maid change what she feels in her heart right?

if she has a thing for your hubby, then do you think tomorrow she can just "switch off" those feelings? just send her back to agency, and get a replacement, and PRAY hard that your next maid is good.

as for MOM, don't worry too much, at most they will call you up for a "kopi session" then just be honest with them and tell them why you changed your previous maids. i am sure they can see that you are not an unreasonable employer.

According to my friend, after all those tests, they finally engaged her with a medical social worker.So through this, he is now attending special school. But the counsellor also advice my friend to put him through another school where he can mingle with other kids. I'll pm you her email soon, so you can ask her more.

I agree with Lani. I grew up with maids and I have a maid myself now. It's not your fault that you have not found a suitable one. It's actually hard to get a good one. But this one is not for you to keep.Maybe you can 'tekan' the agency a bit and really request for a suitable one after all the trouble they put you through.

me too ..I observed my maid sometimes nak dekat2 ngan hubby.One thing good if HB off day,dia pi solat pat masjid so kurang "contact".I pernah sound pat dia..Tht time my HB was reading papers,and she was folding baju2 in front of pintu dapur,in line with HB..I cakap " ada ke lipat baju depan pintu dapur?" muka dia slamba.Since then,dia tak sibuk2 sgt..but i 've still monitoring dia.

si maid ni memang hati dia tak baik. Ade ke semalam dia cakap dgn my mum yg dia mimpi ade orang tak suke dia kerje kat rumah ni... mesti dia overheard kite discuss on sunday tu pasal dia... then out of the blue dia buatkan my mum air... tak pernah dia buatkan my mum air.. my mum pun cakap she batuk so tak nak minum air manis... so now we all macam seram seram gitu...

anyway, my maid is indon from sumatra. Last time my MIL ade cakap orang sumatra ade mentel sikit.. betul rupe ye....

About maids right, I too wish I can do w/o them but too bad got no one to see see look look my kids if I'm at work. But to minimize prob I stay clear of Indon FDW ... Heard too many scary stories about them using black magic. Furthermore I've got not patience and the time with lembab helper. But even with a Phili helper I still fix a real time camera in my house so that I can check on her anytime I like during office hours. She still a stranger and I can't be complacent. She handling my priceless treasures. So far my FDW has been a great help. Automatic and with initiative. I underestimate my FDW smartness once and that prompt me to fix a camera at home..

I had the same experience abt maid frm Sumatra. What your maid is showing baru 'bunga-bunga' tau so cepat2 hantar if you really suspect dia ade hati dgn your hubby. Dulu mine sampai baring2 ah nak tunjukkan my hubby..She can really baring tau on the floor ke on the bed(bedroom door opened), the kind of bitches would do to lure customers AND she will only do that bila my hubby's at home! Such a bad experience for me which I think its not necessary to tell nanti buat org lain takut.

Tu la my MIL cakap orang sumatra mentel I cakap its not a matter of geography orang dari mane pun boleh act mentel... but then it could be the air they breath there and my maid ni boleh tahan orangye... putih bersih..tinggi slim..eh..sangat opposite la dgn kite ni.... ai seh man... nampakye before the new maid arrive I kena la jadi camera bergerak dalam rumah I.

Nasib baik jugak my family notice the 'bunga bunga' before full bloom. Good thing also my house banyak orang, my mum and my youngest sis stays with me and my grandma visit almost everyday.. now takut tau... lagi lagi after she sound my mum yang dia tau ade orang tak suke dia..
 
wow, all these talk abt maids quite scary ah! luckily my maid not like that. in fact, she's the one always worrying that other ppl will steal her hubby! cause she ever said before that her hubby (he is indo also and now working in Bali) is quite good-looking, and that she is only average-looking.

however, if i ever were to encounter a mentel maid who ada hati with my hubby, i will send her off packing immediately, no questions asked. if worse comes to worst i will just make do without a maid.

one of my frens also have trouble conceiving. (actually a lot of my friends have trouble conceiving and they are mostly teachers. hmmmm.)
she was just one cycle away from ivf and miraculously, she got pregnant. she's been married and trying for 9 years. then, this year, without even trying very hard she got pregnant again!! masya Allah.

i saw something on discovery health about ivf. oh my, i really respect those who go through ivf. it's so stressful to have to go through it. respect ah.
 
I guess we are very lucky bec at first try of IVF dah dapat. Tapi all sorts of complication la .. it was certainly a long journey. tapi best ah time pregnant tu kan, rasa macam orang sangat sayang la kat kite. Mak mak kat sini pun mesti rase macam gitu kan

Alhamdulillah... my doctor is also very patient (bec i am allergic to pain..hee hee) and female.. thats very important for me. Segan nak pegi male gynae.

eh, i am not much younger than you, i am 34 this yr. i've been married for almost 9yrs now, and we only decided to have our 1st child after 7yrs of marriage, cause we thought it was abt time. maklumlah, we weren't getting any younger, so we thought it was time lah. but we were lucky, after trying for 1mth only i got pregnant.

nora aw, i almost took the ivf after going thru in & out hospital & gynea. When they recommend me ivf.....i tak jadi just wait n go for urut kat seberang.

Me also trying to get the first child for almost 5yrs after my marriage. Going thru alot of uruts sana sini. But alhamdullillah my first son now udah 3yrs+ but the 2nd one cepat pulak........now 17mos plus. Both r normal delivery. Nak try the 3rd one

3rd one... i think i one only enuf la.. Bec my kerajinan is non-existent. That's why we also started thinking of a family quite late, got try la urut but i not consistent bec of work etc.. I even did laproscopy to clear up my tubes .. banyak masa dah habis kat hospital... and of course the fertility drugs that made me so fat..sigh... imagine in my closet ade baju dari size 8 sampai 18..ish..ish..ish..

You see, my contemporaries all have school going kids and here I am terkial kial with a 6 mths old. Selalu jalan raye boleh la glam.. this year belum jalan da penat, ape ke tak, asyik tertinggal barang aje.. berape kali i keluar masuk rumah pun i lost count..

Dont even talk to me abt the school system.. I am totally lost.. tu la tengok tengok kat sini time you all share abt playgroup and such...

Lucky u..conceived at the 1st try!! Those drugs really can make your weight shoot up ya!!! Hw much did you gain eh?
I think for now you may want to concentrate on your baby since he's a miracle boy. You will definately catch up with the sch system soon!! Dont worry abt tht!

I'v two embryos frozen for now at Mounr E. Didnt harvest much eggs, if i remember correctly i only had 12 and embryos i had five. My gynae is at Mount E but I actually started the fertility treatment at SGH CARE centre. But my doctor move to Mount E sometime March 2005 so I followed her. So my IVF process was done in Mount E.

Before i started IVF i already put on 10 kilos..sigh. The funny thing is when I got pregnant all in all I gained another 12 kilos only. i have lost the pregnancy weight. So now "working" on the 10 degil kilos....

Just an update on my maid. my old maid dont want to work here anymore, she doesnt want to leave her son alone. So this morning I will call agency to reserve the maid yang i want. Now my hb kesian, he got so many restrictions, he cant go to kitchen, he cant sit at his favorite place, he doesnt dare to pray outside our room, bec usually he does that in the morning and maid will be sweeping and mopping...hopefully things work out soon
