Same. Up and down. Some days no MS, some days like clockwork. So makes weight mgt a bit difficult lol.
Hey everyone, first time pregnant and due Oct. 21, 2015 here. Hope everyone's doing great! Doctor has me on bed rest cause I bled at 5 weeks and 5 days, everything seems good now though. Did a scan and everything's fine so far. As far as morning sickness, not much there. Just weird feeling in the morning that goes away after I eat something 
Hot drinks, bread and biscuit for me too! And yes, congeeee. Plain with marmite or with braised peanuts. All the cheapo food. Haha
hi, i went for second checkup yesterday and baby was growing well at 9w1d. Initially i was worried as my MS seemed to improve quite abit since i visited my gynae two weeks back. I felt really relieved when i saw the little one and heard her heartbeat.
I'm scheduled for an oscar test 3 weeks later but im not sure if i should do the harmony test. Any mummies have decided already?

Mine too, over cny period i lost 3kg. Now can eat abit more think would gain some back.

My weight is around the same. But my friend lost 5kg in her first tri during to serious MS as she has twins. So I think it's quite normal to lose a little weight in the first tri.

I had blood in my stools before. I googled online and it is quite normal according to what I read. But of course must eat more fiber and drink more water. However when I brought it up to my gynae, he told me to tell him again if it happens, as he would need to refer me to a colonrectal specialist. So I religiously eat fruits every day now.
I also find that it feels better when I drink warm water. I am avoiding cold foods at the moment.

I discussed with my doc today and will go for blood test and NT scan first. If results are not good, I will most probably do the harmony test.
I just saw my bb hb today too and was very happy and relieved!

I confirm will do harmony test due to my age and it's 99% accuracy. For Oscar test....must take out "water" ( duno what's the term) where my doc say may risk in mc of 1 in 300

It's the first time? Then shouldn't be serious. Don't worry!
If I haven't been eating enough fiber, I will take prune juice sometimes as it helps to soften my stools.
yaya... i tink we are having the same symptoms... cooking n cooked food makes me feel nausea.. yucks! i hope this will go away soonI feel hungry but when i look at the food i lose appetite. Now i cannot stand the smell of cooking or cooked food, my hb was just eating dinner and he blast the fan at my direction and i feel unwell when the food smell comes my direction
I don't have blood in my stool but I notice my stool is harder than usual and I take a longer time to clear my stool.. But after eating prunes, it helps a lot.
I realize recently that I need to have a meal that is heavy in taste and if it's too bland I can't eat.. Today so far no spotting (touch wood) and I hopes that it continues to stay this way..

went for second scan yesterday and saw baby's hb! 8w2d today.
I had a horrible horrible past 3 weeks due to utrogestan 2*2 daily. was constantly in a dreamy state, machiam high on drugs
gets nuesea when hungry but has a poor appetite. If I don't feed myself when I'm hungry I got light headed and will get cold limbs. If I eat too much, I feel bloated with heartburn.
hb and I are joking and praying that this littlest one will not be too fussy when born.
read thru the posts and saw some symptoms I can relate to for my first pregnancy 2 years back.
For UTI, taking yogurt regularly helps prevent.
For fainting spells, pls see gynae for blood count chk. I was prescribed liquid iron which helps for large part of pregnancy but towards the final lap, I need to get iron injection.

Yes I also prefer foods that are heavier in taste, such as chicken rice, roti prata and laksa.
I get kinda turned off when I see porridge :/
I am also choosing to do the Harmony test due to my age. I think it gives a better piece of mind for older mothers.

I hv stools probs too. Before I preg I used to hv loose stools all along. Aft preg, starting I have constipation Bt I stil goes once everyday, thn a few wks later I diarrhea for a few days. After which constipation again. Last few days I had blood in my stools Bt only a day or two. Ytd I diarrhea again. Today I'm back to normal. I nv ask gynea though.

if not wrong, all supplements n tests are separate. That said, package usually starts from either week 12 or week 16, depending on gynae.
umm, i thought Oscar test is just to draw the blood for testing and an NT Scan?

I've been thru this phase last June too.. Totally understand the many qns in your head now...
There will never be an explanation... But don't think negatively now... Just wait & see tomorrow how is the Gynae visit...
Whatever it is, never blame yourself...

kkh didn't do a scan for u immediately? If not, you won't know for sure till tmr. Meanwhile try to get some rest and don't think abt all that first. hopefully tmr will be ok. Praying for u.
They did a simple scan.. saying that my baby no heart beat... haiz... duno she will see wrongly or nt. I hope so...

hi. anyone heard of panorama test? my doc is suggesting this one instead of harmony. cost about 2k. He say more accurate. how much is harmony test usually? I'm so confused with all the test. and any West side doc that delivers either at Thomson or gleneagles to recommend? my current doc really quite ex although he's superb and very assuring guy

I've just went thru this.. last fri my bb is 19mm but has no heartbeat.. blood test show a drop in hcg level..
There's nothing much we can do except to pray that everything is well.
Everything happens for a reason though we may not know the reason. I'm still praying for a miracle to happen before the procedure..
Just pray that tmr your bb will have heartbeat and have a good rest.
Hi I am seeing Dr fong cw at gleneagles. He delivers at gleneagles. I am also deciding whether harmony or panorama or Oscar. I suppose if u are the lucky 90 percent, then Oscar is sufficient. But if got positive then might as well HV shelled out more for the more accurate one in first place. But so far looks like harmony is more popular. I think panorama test for more things but all those to me not very impt. Only down syndrome wld cause me to think whether abort, and seems to me to have higher probability of live birth and occurrence. The sex chromosomes abnormality when I study in sch the probability didn't seem high. If I dun go for Oscar will prob go harmony. Anyone got any diff take on this?

Yup.. 8 wks plus.. gynae said if natural will be painful plus my cervix is closed (prev preg all csect)
