(2014) ivf mummies support group

Hello I am back. A super busy day for me as morning got to bring baby see doc again to review jaundice. Still got but decreasing. Today totally Never pump as was out since like 10am then come back feed baby with fm then go ntuc buy stuff. Super busy.
Sigh I also don't want my bm goes to waste but I have no choice got to mix as my baby does not like bm at all. Totally just don't drink.

Lynn u super busy. I also busy but still got time meanwhile. Now pumping. Just now miss my 3hr now 4hr already feel the pain in boobs already. The min I take off my bra I feel boobs painful and so "plastic"
 
Haha so the only way is mix to let her drink my bm.
Buddy, you got a lot of milk? I one day only pump once or twice no time for that. Rest also no time. Today my milk seems a bit more after taking the medicine gynae gave.
 
I feel I don't have that much milk but I also don't know what's the standard to say more or less. I only know by 3hrs if still no pump out super painful and milk start to drip. My pump output is still 50-60 each side. If go to 4hr then 80-60 my left is always the more powerful one. Haha. How about yours output each pump?

U shld try to pump every 2 hr instead of 3 hr, if u say 3 hr no pump then pain then u shld try every 2 hr
 
Snow if 2hrs I very busy. Means after every pump 1.5hrs later I need to pump again :( so terrible. I cannot rest at all. if 2 hrs pump I think my output won't be 50-60 already will be 30-40 hehe. Now u pump how frequent and what's the ml?

How is circle very quiet? Really must be experiencing the tough first few days. After that use to it much better. Yesterday I totally leave it to my mum as I really need to sleep. Super jia lat already if not for nothing my bp becomes high. I must try achieve my bp back to normal with more sleep.
 
Ya bud I will go 3hrs. Cause imagine 2 hrs I very busy. Imagine I start 12pm and pump half hour. 12.30pm finish and I wash parts and clean here and there. Then around 12.40pm then if bb cry I pacify then soon 2pm I need to start pumping again hahaha my life!

Just now pump at 6.30am now after bath I got to pump again. The life of a cow haha. All for the babies jiayou!!!


Ya circle how is motherhood? Hope u are coping well? Wonder dolly gal give birth already anot? The rest jiayou and hope to see u girls back here again soon. We can then share our experience on motherhood here.
 
Hi ladies... sorry for disappearing... saw my buddy msg and feeling excited for you. must make sure dr tan check your water bag level, cervix etc.

I don't dare to imagine what will happen if the water is too low.

and I have no contractions even at 5cm dilation! so it was just super heng that my gynae asked me to come back 3 days later just to be safe.

Circle, how r u n princess? Motherhood life must be amazing. I can't wait to try. Lol
Ya luckily ur gynae monitor u closely. My appt with dr tan is still 2 weeks apart. Sometimes I also worry a lot what if I m dilating without knowing etc.. I think I will only stop worrying until I hold my bundle of joy. Haha

Haha maybe u dun have cl that's why very busy during my confinement got cl that's why I pump every 2 HR except nite time but my output very low only 20ml n nw I only pump at nite when bb is slpping during day time if lucky I can pump if not I only latch

Kitkats, not just you. I'm worried too. But since week 36, I've been seeing Dr Tan weekly. Each time he will look at my water bag level and says it's normal.
 
I am also taking fenugreek given my gynae hopefully can boost too.
Faithfully, eerr.. I think you better go kkh and check since got blood discharge.
My bp is reducing back. . Going to rest more hopefully can go back to normal.
 
Faithfully, I heard if u see red mean labour is near. Better go have a check to know the progress now. Jiayou!!

I am with NUH. Faithfully, if I have some symptoms, I would want to see doc too. Too bad it's a Sunday and no contraction yet.
 
I just called KKH Call A Nurse. The nurse said no need to go KKH yet. Monitor first. If water bag burst, or have contractions every 10 minutes, then quickly go hospital. I also asked a few mummy friends. They said can monitor 1st. I asked Dr Zou. She said go hospital to check 1st.

If u go kkh they will put u for an HR to monitor ur contraction n bb heartbeat after that if ur contraction will send u back again n u got to pay money for the 1 HR

ermmmmm I rather be more cautious. go and check safer. I am one example where I had no contractions even at 5cm dilation. Not even a hint of blood.

I drove to my appt. When doc checked, he was shocked. I even just walked normally into delivery suite. The nurses thought I came to check ctg. when they heard 5cm dilation, they super gan cheong.

and for the next 4 hrs, still no contractions and no blood. normal normal.

so just in case.. go check safer.
 
Yap Faithfullyyours better to go chk... rem tt u dun feel ur contractions when dr tan chked tt ur ctg showed u had... just in case same case as circlecircle
 
é head n stomach readin consistently ahead of gest weeks.. so gyne say do odtt.. in case i got GD..

do u still rem how was it? in btwn blood test is 1hr apart or more than that??
 
Faithfully, I am also one who can't feel contraction remember. So Better just go and check.
Joy, for GD they will ask you to fast no water and food. Then on the day they will take your blood first, ask you drink a bottle of sugar water then 2 hrs later take another blood before you can go for your food and water.
 
Yes Faithfullyours I also will go and check cause already come so far. It may really b sign of labour. 1st time mummies really don't know what is contraction one.

Oh I remember mine also have blood but I read frm internet n state is normal I only go until I experience 2 days of contraction but go liao in the end came back home haha
 
Doctor on duty came to check my cervix. 1 cm dilated. Contractions are very far apart. So doctor sent me back home and asked me to go for Dr Tan's appointment as scheduled on Tuesday. Actually I kind of expected the outcome to be like this. Hehe! But as we conceive through IVF, I really just wanna play safe as I have come so far. I can't afford to have any hiccup now.
